When to Plan your Trip
How far in advance should I plan a Egypt vacation?
Your perfect trip to Egypt is possible, and our Egypt travel specialists are ready to help you plan it.
Travelers are welcome now to explore the country’s ancient heritage in the tombs and pyramids, embrace thriving culture featured in the Grand Bazaar, and find the surprising beauty of the beaches on the Red Sea. By planning your trip sooner rather than later, you will have more options for your preferred experiences and the accommodations you want to have.
Before the Covid-19 pandemic, we recommended travelers to Egypt reserve their trip approximately eight to nine months in advance, especially when traveling during peak season.
If you prefer to travel during the high season, we now recommend booking your trip between 10-12 months in advance. By planning and reserving your trip early, you give yourself better chances for booking your preferred accommodations, tours, and guides, which can make all the difference in your trip.
