We selected our Zicasso travel specialists because they designed the best itinerary and seemed to well understand our needs. Their accommodation choices were good value and generally in the best locations. They handled the difficult logistics of our trip quite well, but at times were negligent in informing us promptly of changes to the program and flights. We had more interaction with them during the trip than we normally have and they always responded quickly and effectively. We were very pleased with the guides and drivers they hired and our program was busy and diversified, as we wanted it. Overall, we had a great trip and recommend them.

Everything scheduled and planned exceeded our expectations. The follow-up by the Zicasso travel agent during our trip was an unexpected, nice touch. It seemed each day was better than the previous one.

There were drivers, transfer reps, and guides.

The job of the drivers is self-evident.

The transfer reps met us at airports and docks, handled all logistics, and got us from point A to B. They all proved efficient and helpful, and were universally of good cheer.

Our guides were all excellent – knowledgeable, patient, insightful, and eager to share their knowledge with us. We were fortunate to have a guide for five days in the Andes. We recommend him without hesitation.

Our package included a “three-night, four-day” stay on a luxury riverboat, with strong emphasis on “luxury” in every sense of the word. However, boarding at 5.30pm on day one (we landed in Iquitos at 2.30pm) and departing at 8am on day four meant we really only had two full days on the Amazon, but those days were grand.

We told our agent of our interests. Besides the usual museums and archeological sites (all very interesting), he also arranged "experiences" – cooking (we learned how to mix a pisco sour) and visits with a really cool farmer/entrepreneur and a tile artist (the artist was interesting, the workshop “experience” meh.)

On our last day, we visited CORE Archaeology and the MAP Museum in Cusco with a guide, a transplanted Irishman. It was one of the highlights of a trip with many, many of them.

Every hotel our agent booked us into was excellent.

We were two couples traveling to Argentina and Chile, predominantly in Patagonia. We had a great three-week trip, including a four-day cruise around Cape Horn and multiple domestic flights and transfers.

Zicasso’s travel agent helped us put together our custom itinerary and arranged all accommodations, guides, and transfers. He was very responsive to our questions and concerns during the planning process and the trip, and did an outstanding job arranging all the logistics.

We were contacted by text by each individual subcontractor one day prior to any transfer. They were also very quick to respond to any questions and concerns. Every transfer was exactly on time and everything in what was a complicated three-week itinerary went like clockwork. Boarding passes for domestic flights were provided the day prior to the flights. All the guides provided were excellent: friendly, knowledgeable, and fluent in English. The accommodations were mostly excellent.

Overall, our travel agent did an outstanding job and we highly recommend him to anyone wanting to have a great trip to Patagonia and Argentina.

The trip and Zicasso’s travel agency were wonderful. They equaled or exceeded our best expectations over the eight days. They did a great job during the entire process, from planning to helping us during the trip. They selected great boutique hotels, the best restaurants, planned the days carefully, and kept us informed along the way. In particular, our travel consultant was amazing. She was very patient as we made changes during the planning process. Working with five people, each with their own ideas, is not easy, but it never phased her. She was also accommodating in helping make reservations for restaurants we chose and helped others with extensions to other areas.

We planned a 39-day trip to Chile and Argentina for this year.

Once we had decided to go ahead and use Zicasso’s company, we spoke with our travel agent (we live in Australia) to discuss our requirements and the places we would like to visit. He filled the 39 days to include all the places we wanted to visit, plus some at his suggestion.

We kept in touch by email, as well as in-person calls, on a number of occasions to discuss and confirm the itinerary with it being so long! We ended up with a fantastic itinerary that met all our requirements. Everything went to exactly to plan.When one of our internal flights was cancelled, we let our travel agent know. He answered straight away and let the hotels, etc, know that we wouldn't be arriving as planned.

For us, knowing our agent was available at any time of day to assist if things didn't go to plan was one of our critieria when booking the trip. He also checked in with us the night we arrived, during the trip, and when we arrived home.

Zicasso’s travel advisor was very receptive to our needs for schedule changes and shifts. Every aspect of the trip went very well and as planned. Our guide was amazing and did such a great job of keeping us safe, including shifting some things around when we had an emergency. The agency also took care of the emergency really well, putting us at ease.

The only reason I gave four stars (I would have given 4.5) is that our contact person in Chile was out of the office for most of our trip and we were given an emergency number. We did have to call the emergency number and the response was great, but it was a bit frustrating that we were given a contact who was out of the office for pretty much the whole trip and we didn't quite have a face to this person or a relationship with them. Of course, everything was taken care of, so no issues.

I cannot recommend Zicasso’s travel company enough! They orchestrated an unforgettable birthday adventure for our group of four across Argentina, spanning the stunning landscapes of Patagonia, the vibrant streets of Buenos Aires, and the picturesque vineyards of Mendoza.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear every detail had been meticulously planned with care. Each hotel we stayed at acknowledged the birthday celebration, adding an extra touch of warmth and hospitality to our experience. It truly made us feel special and appreciated.

The guides provided in each city were exceptional. Not only were they incredibly knowledgeable about the local history, culture, and landmarks, but they also went above and beyond to ensure we had an enriching and enjoyable time. Their passion for their respective cities was infectious, and we left each excursion feeling enlightened and inspired.

One of the highlights of our trip was the amazing seven-course lunches with wine pairings. All the transfers between locations were seamless, with the exception of those affected by the national airline strike, which was, of course, an extenuating circumstance and beyond anyone’s control. With all the details in the itinerary handled for us in advance, we were able to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the journey without any worries or stress.

Overall, our experience with our travel company exceeded all expectations. They not only delivered on their promise of an unforgettable birthday trip, but also surpassed it with their exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care for their clients' experiences.

Our Zicasso travel operator did a wonderful job of helping us plan and organize our trip to Argentina and Chile. We were very happy with all our accommodations and it was really amazing to have all the transports show up on time with our names, even when our flight arrived very late in BA. It was so much easier having that arranged by our travel operator. Our agent checked in frequently during our trip to see how things were going, which was greatly appreciated.
