We selected our Zicasso travel specialists because they designed the best itinerary and seemed to well understand our needs. Their accommodation choices were good value and generally in the best locations. They handled the difficult logistics of our trip quite well, but at times were negligent in informing us promptly of changes to the program and flights. We had more interaction with them during the trip than we normally have and they always responded quickly and effectively. We were very pleased with the guides and drivers they hired and our program was busy and diversified, as we wanted it. Overall, we had a great trip and recommend them.

We had an excellent trip to Argentina! When I spoke with Zicasso’s travel agent, I had a few ideas of what I wanted to see and do. We were presented with a trip that exceeded our expectations. We spent time in Buenos Aires, Cafayate and Iguazú Falls.

All of our accommodations were excellent. However, the food, spa, and views at the Cafayate hotel were hands down our favorite.

In Buenos Aires, we attended a tango show and explored the city. We also learned how to make empanadas and learned about Argentinian wines at a private cooking class and wine tasting.

In Cafayate, we visited boutique wineries, went horseback riding, and visited a farm that made amazing goat cheeses.

Our last stop at Iguazú Falls was breathtaking.

I appreciated our agent’s team making some minor changes during our time in Argentina and having someone to help us with the language (our Spanish is non-existent). And our drivers and operators were excellent. Overall, it was an amazing trip!

Zicasso’s travel advisor was very receptive to our needs for schedule changes and shifts. Every aspect of the trip went very well and as planned. Our guide was amazing and did such a great job of keeping us safe, including shifting some things around when we had an emergency. The agency also took care of the emergency really well, putting us at ease.

The only reason I gave four stars (I would have given 4.5) is that our contact person in Chile was out of the office for most of our trip and we were given an emergency number. We did have to call the emergency number and the response was great, but it was a bit frustrating that we were given a contact who was out of the office for pretty much the whole trip and we didn't quite have a face to this person or a relationship with them. Of course, everything was taken care of, so no issues.

Zicasso's tour guides, for the most part, were excellent. All of them were punctual, very nice, and accommodating, especially our guide in Mendoza, who went out of his way to help us and give us a wonderful experience.

Our tour guide in Iguazu, although very nice, was very inexperienced. The day we got there, it was raining and he said we would have to cancel our helicopter ride because of this. My daughter suggested we just flip the itinerary and move the helicopter ride to the next day. Our guide said, "Good Idea … ". Also, when he drove us to the helicopter, there was an hour’s wait, which was fine and not his fault. However, while we were waiting, he should have got the pass to the park since it was a two-minute drive. Instead, we waited an hour, took the helicopter ride, and when we got to the park entrance, found we had to wait an hour and 45 minutes to get in. An experienced tour guide would have been able to figure out those logistics.

Our hotels were very nice, except the one in Mendoza was a bit shabby and not comparable to the one that we were supposed to be at. I question why we weren't staying in the city of Mendoza. The hotel in Buenos Aires was in a great location.

This tour company did an excellent job of understanding our needs and helping us every step of the way, from initial contact and throughout our trip.  They chose excellent drivers and guides, and continually checked in with us to make sure things were running smoothly.  When   we missed a connection because of a delayed flight they advised suppliers and rescheduled drivers and guides.  Special commendation to our agent who gave us months of personal attention and made it possible for us to get a taste of several regions during a short two week vacation and the travel specialist who met with us and acted as our  hostess for the trip.  I highly recommend both the trip planner and Zicasso for putting us in contact with them.  Shirley S.

We enjoyed our trip! We got to see several iconic sites, like Machu Picchu, Iguazú Falls, and Christ the Redeemer.

Zicasso’s tour planners curated the perfect trip to Argentina for my son (college senior) and me. They designed an itinerary that took us to Buenos Aires, the Mendoza wine region, and Iguazú Falls, and paired us with bilingual guides who were knowledgeable and fun. Thanks to our guides, whose tours made our overall experience that much better, and to the drivers who helped get us to and from airports and hotels. Every detail was handled beautifully and this allowed us to relax and enjoy our first visit to Argentina.

The accommodations they selected were excellent and we enjoyed staying at smaller boutique hotels that included breakfast. The location of the hotel in Palermo Soho in Buenos Aires was perfect and it was easy to walk to restaurants, nice shops, and into the main part of the city (fine arts museum, bookstore and so much more). Argentina is an amazing country with so much to offer and we look forward to returning and exploring even more. Zicasso’s travel company was a big part of making this an unforgettable trip. I am so happy we entrusted the planning of our 30th wedding anniversary trip with this Zicasso travel company. Our agent and the entire team are kind, professional, and eager to serve. He was attentive, an excellent communicator, and full of ideas during the planning stages. I feel like he truly listened and learned who we are and what we were hoping to see and do during this trip. Buenos Aires, El Chaltén, El Calafate, Torres del Paine, Punta Arenas, and Santiago: we packed a lot into two weeks, but everything was seamless, from transportation to guides to accommodation to special experiences for our occasion. Having a representative "following" us on our trip through the app was reassuring and helpful. She was delightful and eager to assist if needed.  She even made a point of coming to say hello to us at our hotel in Buenos Aires. 

We are so grateful for the knowledge and personal touch of the travel company; it truly made for one of our most special and memorable trips ever! We hope we have an opportunity to use their services again!
