We were very happy with Zicasso and the travel company. There were no hitches. All of the guides, drivers, and hotels were wonderful.

My husband came down with bronchitis in Egypt and the hotel immediately got him a doctor. The Egypt travel company continued to monitor his condition throughout the trip.

What a fantastic trip! It was so well organized and planned, we were able to just relax and enjoy our vacation. It was a one-month journey to Africa, visiting Botswana, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. We always felt taken care of.

The safari portion of our trip could not have been more perfect. We were able to see the animals from very near on night drives and bush walks, with very few other jeeps to disturb the environment. The private concessions are an amazing way to truly experience the animals.

We also explored Cape Town on a number of fantastic private tours. We watched the southern right whales off the coast of Hermanus, tasted some delicious wines in the Winelands, explored charming small towns, tried local cuisine, hiked Table Mountain, and so much more.

Our travel team planned the trip to perfection.

My trip, overall, was fantastic. I loved Japan and all its offerings. Of my scheduled tours by the Zicasso tour company, four were wonderful and two in Tokyo were okay.

On May 19, a tour guide arrived at my hotel for a tour that was paid for, but not shown on my itinerary.

The company that was supposed to pick me up at the airport in Tokyo went to the wrong airport, so I took a taxi to the hotel.

The hotel in Kyoto was disappointing. It was also the only stop where I had four days. It was quite dated and not consistent with the other accommodations, especially coming from Hakone, where the hotel was so wonderful.

I was not scheduled to take the bullet train, which I would have liked to experience.

I felt very pressured to pay for the trip and thereafter communication was vague and stressful on final details.

In the end, I enjoyed all my destinations and planned activities.

The trip of a lifetime. Far exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide was outstanding. His knowledge of animals, birds,  plants, and the people was incredible. A wonderful personality. Every day our vehicle was spotless; quite a feat considering all the dust. Each accomedation was unique and different from each other. This was a custom designed safari by the travel agency and was unique and wonderful. We experienced things a normal safari would not.

Our trip to Southern Africa (Botswana and Zimbabwe) was nothing short of amazing! Our travel consultant created a great itinerary and took care of every detail associated with small-craft flights, greetings at airports, etc. The coordination was seamless!

We highly recommend staying at the camps within the reserves as this provides a different experience to the national parks. We felt like we were the only ones there. We were deeply touched by the love and warmth of the resort staff, who go out of their way to welcome you and assist with any needs you may have. Our guide was brilliant, his knowledge, experience, and patience incredible!

This was our second trip through Zicasso and we highly recommend the company for its interest in helping to make our trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

We wanted to let you know how much we appreciated all of the local guides. Our guide in Cape Town was wonderfully knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating. Our guides in Victoria Falls were also wonderful.

The private game reserve was the perfect choice, with a warm, welcoming crew, lovely accommodations, and knowledgeable professional guides and trackers. And delicious, abundant food. The hotel at Victoria Falls was also lovely, with very friendly, professional staff.

Everyone across the board was helpful, accommodating, and respectful of our mom’s need for a little extra help (with the exception of Lufthansa in Frankfurt). We didn't book them through you, but wanted to give you the heads up in case you use them in the future for disabled or mobility-impaired guests. Every single person we encountered in Africa was kind and respectful, and we really appreciated that.

The trip was fantastic. Zicasso's tour partner really listened to what we wanted out of a safari and what our limitations were, especially physical and dietary. Our agents were wonderful, very easy to work with, and very responsive to all of our questions. We could not have asked for better.

The lodge we selected was terrific; a great recommendation from the travel team. Everything about our stay was what we were looking for and we appreciated that they prepared some special meals to accommodate our needs.

We would recommend our travel agency to anyone looking for a great safari experience.

Our Zicasso travel agent did an outstanding job. We visited Tanzania for 14 days and 13 nights. Our agent was easy to work with throughout the trip and had some great suggestions to make it the best it could be.

The hike she suggested was exceptional. Our Maasai guide and naturalist were outstanding. We were able to track an elephant that was near our camp. They showed us the tracks and scat of animals while on the hike and educated us on the animals’ movements. Then they took us to a Cape buffalo that had been killed the night before. It was awesome, and they told us to listen for hyenas that night. It happened like clockwork.

Our agent also suggested we not fly out of Dar es Salaam. I believe this saved us a lot of aggravation. All the domestic flights were flawless.

Our guide for the 14 days was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and had eagle eyes. He was easy to be with and always made us feel comfortable.

One suggestion I have for future safari goers would be to get passes for more than one park. I picked this time of year to see the calving, but the majority of the birthing was taking place about an hour away from us in a park we didn't have access to on those days. This would cost more, I'm sure, but would be worth it. We saw a lot of the migration and it was amazing, even though we missed the birthing. We did see one gnu attempting a birth, but we believe it was stillborn. We observed her for 30 to 40 minutes and she was never able to pass the calf.

All of the accommodations were exceptional and the food was incredible. How they are able to put on a five-star dinner each night in the bush is miraculous.

Our travel agent was always checking in with our guide and when I had a question in Zanzibar, she got back with the answer promptly. I couldn't recommend her and her company more highly. She made a bucket-list trip flawless.
