Zicasso’s travel partners did an amazing job and were quick to work through any issues we had during our trip to Dubai. My only complaint is I asked for the start times of our daily excursions and was told they would be given to me on arrival. The driver picking us up didn't have any schedule for us. It was only after calling the company that I got what I originally asked for.

We were very happy with Zicasso and the travel company. There were no hitches. All of the guides, drivers, and hotels were wonderful.

My husband came down with bronchitis in Egypt and the hotel immediately got him a doctor. The Egypt travel company continued to monitor his condition throughout the trip.

The Zicasso tour operator was friendly, accommodating, and helpful. He told us he wanted us to have the best possible trip and that nothing was too much trouble. I believe that was his intention.

For example, when the Wi-Fi aboard the cruise turned out to be very poor, our guide immediately got a data SIM for our phones. We had two guides, one for Cairo and the north and one for Luxor and the south. Both were very experienced and well-versed in their knowledge of the history of Egypt and the monuments they were guiding us through.

Our hotels in Cairo and Alexandria were entirely acceptable. We were, however, disappointed that sometimes we were taken for lunch at tour bus restaurants. It would have been much nicer if a quieter and more intimate restaurant had been selected. By contrast, in Suez, we were guests at a private social club and treated to an incredible lunch as we watched massive ships glide by so close to us. It would have also been nice to have had more information on tipping customs, since every country is different.

Our trip to Athens, Santorini, and Istanbul was great. The airport transfers, tours, and hotel accommodations arranged by Zicasso’s travel company were all very good and we had no issues.

Our tour guides in each location were all very good. We had the same tour guide for each of our days in Istanbul. He was invaluable in helping us to understand the history of the city and the sites we visited. He also helped us to experience authentic cuisine, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Zicasso's travel company is truly the best of the best. If I could rate them 10 stars, I would. They made it possible for my 75-year-old mom and me to have the trip of a lifetime in Egypt, in the most comfortable and exhilarating way. The owner is a top-notch, enthusiastic travel planner who takes the time to really get to know his clients, their needs, and interests. From the start, after speaking to him, I felt very comfortable and confident that this trip would be unique and special.

We opted for a private tour through Egypt, allowing us to experience it at our own pace, which was invaluable. Our travel team seamlessly adjusted any detail that needed attention. For instance, my mom couldn't handle the heat in the afternoon. Our Egyptologist in Luxor and Aswan arranged a boat ride to the Valley of the Kings, shaving off travel time and enabling my mom to tour it comfortably. He graciously assisted her multiple times, ensuring her safety during the tour.

Our Egyptologist in Cairo and Faiyum immersed us in Egyptian culture while ensuring our comfort. She swiftly helped us change our room in Faiyum when we realized my mom had difficulty with stairs. Similarly, our representative in Cairo provided exceptional care. He fixed a broken necklace I purchased in Aswan and accompanied us for last-minute shopping at Khan Al Kalili in Cairo, ensuring my mom's comfort throughout.

There were numerous other incredible people, including airport, ship, and hotel staff, who were amazing. This incredible team provided top-notch service, feeling like family to us. I highly recommend them when visiting Egypt. They made our dreams come true on an amazing mother-and-daughter odyssey. 

Zicasso’s travel company developed and executed a wonderful travel experience. Pre-trip planning was key and involved numerous emails and phone calls.

Given the situation in Gaza, the calm, reassuring guidance was greatly appreciated.

Their teams in Egypt and Jordan were great. Each member was very professional, yet extremely personable. The airport assistance, drivers, and especially the guides were first-class. Such good, good people.

The accommodation and restaurants were top of the line. How can you go wrong with our hotel in Aswan?

We had a great trip with only a few glitches, which we would expect and were resolved quickly. The guides were outstanding, very competent, and gave us insight into understanding the culture and history of Egypt and Jordan. We felt very safe as we traveled.

We just completed a 10-day trip to Egypt (Cairo and Luxor) and Jordan (Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea). Our group consisted of six people ranging from eight to 80 years old. Everyone in the group had an amazing time!

The tour guides in Cairo and Jordan were incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. They were able to keep things fun and instructive for everyone. The tour operator did a great job of designing a trip with varied exposure to the different sites so it did not feel like we were having the same experience repeatedly.

Before our trip, we were a little anxious about traveling to an area so close to the Gaza conflict, but we had absolutely no concerns about safety the entire time.

The only hiccup we had was that the person meeting us at the airport upon arrival in Cairo was very late. It wasn't a good first impression, after a long flight, to feel stranded at the airport in a new country. Our flight did arrive earlier than the scheduled time, but that was not in our control, and flight times should have been monitored. Other than that, the rest of the trip went perfectly.

There are many different tour operators that offer similar itineraries. The reason we chose Zicasso’s was because they offered the same experience as others, but provided a discount for our two children, aged 11 and eight. This discount was not part of the packages of other tour operators and resulted in substantial savings.
