With a nod from the representative, new lanes were opened, we walked right past customs, and they carried my bags. A driver and an air-conditioned car were always waiting. Zicasso’s travel specialist put together an amazing African itinerary for my wife and me. Our time spent in Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Kenya truly was magical.
We encountered a variety of camp settings and terrain, from water-focused to extremely arid, yet all of the camps offered an extremely immersive bush experience balanced with rather plush accommodations, great food and drink, and incredibly attentive service. Our brief stay near and visit to Victoria Falls, while focused on the spectacular aspects of that wonder of the world, and not wildlife, was mesmerizing. We were living in the present moment every second of our time at these venues!
Our entry into and departure from Africa was a bit bumpy (in no small part due to our decision to scrap the planned travel through Qatar as a result of the ongoing US-Iran war), but our travel specialist worked to alleviate each of the few issues that did occur. We greatly appreciated her willingness to ensure that a few missteps did not diminish our incredible in-country adventures and memories. In our experience, no extended travel to a foreign land is ever hiccup-free.

The Trip of a Lifetime — 10/10 Would Recommend!
We just returned from a two-week trip to Rome, Florence, Athens, Santorini, and Naxos, and I truly cannot say enough amazing things about our experience with Zicasso’s tour operator! Everything was absolutely seamless from start to finish and this was truly the trip of a lifetime.
One of the biggest things that made this trip so special and stress-free was how organized everything was. Every time we arrived somewhere, whether it was an airport, train station, or ferry port, we had a private driver waiting with a sign with my name on it. We never had to worry about where to go, how to get somewhere, or figure things out in an unfamiliar country. Even when there were delays, our drivers were there waiting for us. Having private transfers arranged everywhere we needed to go made traveling between multiple cities and countries so much easier and more enjoyable.
Of course, we had a few little hiccups along the way, as you sometimes do when traveling for over two weeks, but the tour operator's team was always incredibly responsive and helpful. Knowing that someone was just a message away while being halfway around the world was so comforting and made such a difference in our overall experience.
I especially want to give a personal shout-out to our travel specialist, who has been absolutely amazing! Anytime we had a question or needed assistance, she responded so quickly and was always there to help. Her communication, attentiveness, and willingness to make sure everything went smoothly did not go unnoticed. She truly made us feel taken care of throughout the entire trip and I am so grateful for everything she did for us. The excursions were also amazing and I enjoyed every last one of them.
My only small piece of feedback would be to consider starting some of the excursions a little later, closer to 10 a.m., when possible. Since we were visiting multiple destinations, we sometimes had an 8 a.m. excursion followed by another early morning for a transfer to our next destination the following day. Over the course of two and a half weeks, those early mornings did get a little exhausting. That said, I completely understand that scheduling depends on the itinerary and logistics, and this is genuinely my only suggestion for improvement! I would do it all over again in a heartbeat if those were the only times available.
Overall, I would give this experience 20 out of five stars if I could! Every destination was incredible, the logistics were handled beautifully, and we were able to enjoy our trip without the stress of constantly figuring out transportation and travel arrangements ourselves.
I would absolutely use the tour operator for our next adventure and cannot recommend them enough. If you are considering booking through this company, do it!
