Our Zicasso travel agent listened to our wish list and made our trip happen just as we had asked. She asked the right questions and got to know us and what kind of experience we were looking for. We appreciated her partnership with the tour operator in Peru who put everything together and made our trip exceptional. The guides and staff were great – very informative and helpful. Our guide for five days in the Sacred Valley, Cusco, Machu Picchu, and Rainbow Mountain was a delight and we enjoyed his stories about growing up in the area. Overall, the trip was a great experience.

We decided to travel to Peru very last minute. I had previously used Zicasso and was very pleased with their service, so we decided to do it again. They put us in contact with our travel company in Peru. Our agent and his team immediately responded and listened to everything I would like my trip to include. He sent me the proposal very quickly. It was very informative, organized, and complete. It covered all the areas we wanted to visit.

Once in Peru, we were met by incredible guides and drivers throughout our journey. Our travel agent organized our journey in a manner that we would be acclimated to the altitude and it was great. We had no issues at all. We were able to visit the highest point on our itinerary, Rainbow Mountain, without any health concerns. All the tour guides were amazing and very friendly. Peru is a must-visit country. The people, the food, the sites are all amazing and memorable!

I don't even know where to begin. I was very fortunate to be connected with our travel agent for my trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. She worked diligently with me on several occasions, with very short notice, to see how we could make the best out of the seven-day trip. She was very patient, without being pushy, with great suggestions.

I was not sure whether I should do the land tour or the Galapagos Islands cruise, and I was happy with her suggestion to do the cruise. I have no words to describe my experience on the cruise. The staff and guides were just magical. I could not find any fault anywhere. It was just a perfect trip.

And what a pleasant surprise on my return – though it was raining cats and dogs in Quito, our travel agents came to my hotel to receive me. It felt like my family was there to welcome me back home.

Though I traveled solo, I did not feel unsafe in any way. Though my original itinerary for Quito was half a day, my tour operator worked with our local tour guide to make it a full day. A shout-out to our guide too, who was extremely knowledgeable, humble, and patient, and made sure the Quito day trip included all the highlights.

I would look no further than Zicasso in the future to book my trip to South America. I highly recommend this trip.

After a three-year delay due to my daughter's shattered ankle, we were finally able to go on our long-awaited Galapagos cruise and trip to Peru. I had to make a decision in April 2020 to pay the balance in full so as not to lose my deposit. In doing so, I put my full trust in Alfonso and our travel company. An interesting footnote (pun intended) is that I managed to fracture my fibula on March 27 2022, with a May 3 2022 departure date. There was a lot of travel involved in getting to our destinations, but my daughter and I had a fantastic time in both.

The cruise was handled very well and we were able to participate fully in all activities. As we progressed to Peru, guides and drivers were very timely, and our accommodations were very nice. I enjoyed all of our tours, as did my daughter. Alfonso came to Quito to meet us, which I thought was a lovely gesture. With our guide's help, we were able to navigate all the way up to Machu Picchu’s peak. I was the slow mover with my ankle, but our guide made sure we got up and down.

These were two trips of a lifetime and without any hesitation, I would use this travel agency and Alfonso again. To have to part with so much money with the beginnings of a pandemic surrounding me, I put my faith and trust in him and was paid back tenfold with the experience and the service received.

We were extremely pleased with the service provided by our travel agency, which made our first trip to Ecuador smooth, easy, and memorable. We could not have asked more of our guide, who introduced us to the culture, history, food, and architecture of Quito. Her knowledge of the area was encyclopedic.

Our guide in the Amazon Rainforest was a superb naturalist who shared his knowledge freely, leading us to an eye-opening experience in the jungle. The cruise aboard the Galapagos Legend was first-class in every way.

Zicasso’s tour operator also saw to it that we made our transportation connections, which certainly relieved the stress associated with that aspect of traveling in a new country.

The itinerary put together by our travel agent ran the gamut of Ecuador, from the Amazon Rainforest to historic Quito, the Ecuador highlands, and the Galapagos Islands. We could not have been more pleased with the trip, which leaves us with memories for years to come.
