We loved finally seeing Italy (at least parts of it) and would love to see more. The time change and jet lag were a little rough on our two kids, but they adjusted and had a great trip.

The history in Rome was so impressive and we learned a lot. The guided tours were excellent. Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast were beautiful and a nice change of pace from Rome. We also loved visiting Pompeii. Of course, there was great food, wine, and lots of gelato.

Though the weather is fickle, spring seems to be a great time to visit as it isn't crowded like the summer and definitely not hot. Private or small group guided tours are the way to go to smoothly see sites and be educated. It was lovely taking the train to Naples as well. The only big change I think we would make is passing on the winery near Vesuvius. It was great to check out an Italian winery, but not this one. They kept us waiting a long time for a tour and lunch. The tour was lame and short, lunch was just ok, and the wine was mediocre. However, one bright spot was that the estate made red wine vinegar, which was delicious, and we were able to buy a few bottles.

Working with Zicasso’s tour company was a pleasure. Our travel agent really paid attention to what we were looking to do and our family style, and she arranged a great itinerary. The hotel choices were really nice and perfect for our needs. There were a couple of scheduling hiccups on the trip and the tour company’s responsiveness and efforts to help were fantastic.

Words cannot adequately describe how perfect our trip was. My mother's dream was to see Ireland, but my father, at age 78, is not able to walk very far. I wanted her to be able to experience Ireland, but also make sure my father could be included. I contacted several companies with the above desires and Zicasso’s travel agent was the only one who adequately addressed my concerns about my father's abilities. From there, I left it in her, then our guide’s, hands.

Our agent put together the perfect itinerary to provide a history of Ireland and its people, and then to experience the Irish countryside. She was quick with her responses to my questions and easily provided extra amenities like a wheelchair in case my father needed it and a yoga mat on request. After we booked the trip, my father's health declined further and I was very nervous that he wasn't going to be able to participate in the trip. However, our guide and driver made sure he could do almost everything. Our guide felt like part of our family and personalized the trip more than I ever could have imagined.

We had five in our group, my nuclear family, and he learned what each of us was interested in and made stops along the route specifically for each of us, often effortlessly juggling us in different places at the same time. For the times that my father was too tired to participate, our guide kept him company in the van with witty conversation.

The hotels we stayed at were top-notch, with service that was not just professional, but personal. The staff also took care of us like family. I had gone into the trip with some trepidation about making sure both of my parents were taken care of, but our travel agent and guide made it so easy that during the trip I was just able to enjoy what was likely the last trip my family will be able to take together. I cannot thank them enough for creating a trip that was absolutely perfect.

The trip was wonderful. Our Zicasso tour operator was great and really responsive during the trip. I loved the app, which made everything so much easier and clearer, and having everything in one place on our phones was so nice.

The trip was wonderful and the support from the travel agency was unstinting. From the first day, they were quickly responsive and continually exceeded our expectations. We had no hiccups along the way, so we didn't need to call on them during the trip, but I am confident they would have sorted any issue that arose. 

Their reputation was reinforced by our guide in Bath, who said they were a great company to work with and emphasized that anybody who "picked up the phone" would provide the high level of service we'd experienced.

This is the third time I have used Zicasso to arrange travel. As is usually the case, Zicasso provided two prospective local travel agents for the intended trip. In the other two instances, I had some difficulty in deciding which agency to choose. Not the case with our travel agent. After conferring with her once, she immediately got what we were looking for. She generated a preliminary proposal, which was pretty close to the mark, and our decision was easy.

Following this initial phase, our travel agent put together a lodging proposal based on our input and drew up a proposed itinerary. I say "proposed" as it was very much an outline. We were nearly entirely self-driving, so what we did each day was of our own choosing, based on her suggestions. This worked out perfectly, as we were largely free to alter the itinerary as necessary, such as due to inclement weather.

Our travel agent did, however, book some very judiciously chosen excursions, such as a day trip to Inishmore with a private guide, which was phenomenal, and the Connoisseur Experience at The Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, which, as a non-beer drinker, I found totally enthralling.

The highlight of the hotel choices was definitely the castle. An amazing property!

I found our travel agent easy to work with, very communicative before and during the trip, and would highly recommend working with her.

We absolutely loved working with Zicasso’s travel agents. They offered some great experiences and accommodations that I would have never considered, and did it all within our budget. We can't wait to go back to Ireland or make our first trip to Scotland, and I will definitely be calling Zicasso’s company for the next trip!

We took the most amazing trip to Norway to see the Northern Lights. I reached out to Zicasso, who put me in touch with our travel partner and their wonderful travel agent. She put together several options for the trip and we were able to choose the ones that best fit our family’s interests. Once everything was decided, she went to work doing everything. All the bookings, connections, transportation, etc. were handled and I didn't have to worry about any of it.

Before the trip, she confirmed all of the details and included everything on an amazing travel app that we used while we were on the trip. I can't say enough about what an amazing experience we had on our trip and working with Zicasso and our tour operator. I have used both companies before and have never been disappointed.

Our Zicasso travel partner listened to our preferences and needs, and helped design a fabulous trip for our family. Transportation was flawless throughout the trip and the local guides were wonderful. We enjoyed getting to know them personally and learning about their hometowns.
