Greece Trip Review: Local Cuisine, 1 Week

Zicasso was recommended to us by the travel company, which organized the Italy leg of our trip. We couldn't have been more thankful for the recommendation. Everything was planned, down to the last transfer. Our trip was made easy by a well-thought-out itinerary and excellent hotels, restaurants, and excursion recommendations.

Our travel specialist stayed in touch with us the entire time and moved reservation times around as needed. Every question was answered and she was there to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and that everything was going smoothly.

The only negative was that we didn't have time to add Crete to our trip and meet her in person!

Germany, Austria Tour Review: Scenery, Local Cuisine, 11-Day Trip

The Gold Standard for Luxury Travel Planning

I cannot recommend Zicasso's travel agency highly enough.

This was the very first time I have ever used a travel agency and, after this experience, I can honestly say I will never travel any other way.

From the very beginning, Zicasso's travel specialists and the entire travel company team took the time to truly get to know our family. They wanted to understand not only our travel style, but also our interests, priorities, and what we hoped this trip would become. They didn't simply book hotels and transportation. They thoughtfully designed an experience that felt completely tailored to us.

Our 11-day journey through Germany and Austria was nothing short of extraordinary. Every single day was carefully curated, with the perfect balance of adventure, exploration, relaxation, and flexibility. They even recommended restaurants based on our personal tastes, so every meal felt like another highlight of the trip.

What impressed me most was the incredible level of detail. Nothing was left to chance. We always knew exactly where to park for excursions, where to meet the rental car company for drop-off, what to expect each day, and every logistical detail was seamlessly handled before we ever arrived.

When we checked into our first hotel, we were greeted with the most beautiful welcome package. Waiting for us was a stunning coffee table book containing our complete itinerary, all of our tickets and reservations, adapters for European outlets, extra charging cords, and even a local phone to use throughout our travels. It immediately set the tone for the level of service we would experience for the next 11 days.

Even more impressive was the support throughout the trip. Weather changed. Energy levels changed. Plans evolved. Every time we needed local advice or simply wanted another recommendation, someone from their team was available to help us like a personal concierge. Every interaction was warm, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely caring.

As a mom, I'm usually the planner, navigator, travel agent, and activities director for every family vacation. I spend so much time coordinating everyone else's experience that I rarely get to fully enjoy the trip myself. This was the first vacation where I was able to simply be present with my family and experience everything alongside them instead of managing every detail behind the scenes. That gift is difficult to put into words and it made all the difference.

Their professionalism extended to every aspect of the experience. Billing was transparent and straightforward, communication was excellent, and there were never any surprises.

My only disappointment is that they don't operate in every corner of the world because I truly cannot imagine traveling without them again.

If you're considering a trip to Germany, Austria, or anywhere they serve, do yourself a favor and book with this travel company. It is, without question, one of the best investments we've ever made in a family vacation.

I recommend them without hesitation and would gladly speak with anyone who has questions about our experience.
