Talk about the trip of a lifetime. Our trip was magical, memorable, and worry-free. Our travel designer from the travel company helped us plan our two-week honeymoon and it was better than we could have ever imagined. He spent so much time and effort in creating the perfect and unique trip for us. He listened to our preferences, priorities, and concerns, and tailored the trip to what we were looking for. Even with COVID changing our initial plans, he was right there with a great backup option and was always available for a phone call to discuss and adjust our plans. When we wanted to change around a couple of aspects of the itinerary (for example, a different hotel for part of the trip) he had multiple backup options.Going to Africa a few days after getting married, during a global pandemic, was a challenge. However, the designer and the staff in Tanzania made the trip seamless and relaxing. Once we got to Tanzania, we felt like we were always being looked out for and always well taken care of. Our safari driver was exceptional. He was so fun to travel with and always found the best spots for us to view wildlife on our game drives. He was fun, kind, knowledgeable, and he went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and protected. After a week of safari, we got to end our trip in Zanzibar. Although the weather was spotty, the resort had so much to offer. Our villa was beautiful with a private pool, the food was wonderful, and the pool/beach were incredible. Our honeymoon package included a massage and a private beachfront dinner. The staff was always available to help and went out of their way to be hospitable. Some family members decided to surprise us with additional experiences throughout our honeymoon as a wedding gift. We only learned after how helpful our travel designer was with putting the surprises together and helping them pick out memorable, special, and romantic experiences. We look back on our trip so fondly and highly recommend the travel team. We so appreciate that he made sure to follow up with us after our trip and couldn't wait to hear about it and help us relive our favorite moments.

When my wife and I were gathering quotes for our African honeymoon, one company stood out far above the rest. Jessica took a personalized, caring, and detailed approach to helping us plan our dream trip. She was best fit for the job- she has a love for Africa (Tanzania especially), is personally connected to its people and culture, and has extensive experience to make planning comfortable and efficient. The entire trip was seamless. Everything turned out better than we could have imagined. My advice to anyone choosing between a few companies- go with Jessica!

If I could mark this as a 10 star experience, I would. The travel company did a phenomenal job at planning and helping us have an enchanting 4 weeks long tour of Southern Africa in some of the most memorable, iconic, and fantastic places on earth. We started planning the trip 3 years before we could actually travel due to the restrictions imposed by Covid but our travel agent stood by us and worked with us the entire way to make this happen. At every step of the way, I felt that we received the best advice, recommendation, and service. We ended up visiting South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, and Zimbabwe/Zambia (Victoria Falls). We stayed at 12 locations, flew 7 flights intra-Africa, and had 17 transfers to and from our destinations, not to mention the 30 plus trips/outings/drives that we took at the various locations. All this worked without one single snag. Everybody we met along the way and worked with were absolutely incredible; professional, courteous, friendly, and happy to assist in a genuine way, which made us feel welcome and added tremendously to the experience. The travel company was always just an email or phone call away and always responded immediately to the various questions I had as well as accommodated changes without any issues. In addition, we had several heartwarming surprises along the way that the company arranged to help us celebrate an anniversary and my wife's birthday.I do not hesitate to give the highest rating and warm recommendation to the travel company. Book with confidence knowing that they will go the extra hundred miles to ensure you will have the time of your life and remember fondly your trip to Africa.Thank you so very much Kylie, Rachel and the travel team, you have helped Monica and I to enjoy your beautiful part of the world, learn so many things, and make memories (supported by 6,500 pictures and 24 hours of video footage) that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

Good service. Drivers were great, felt safe. Tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. The airport service on arrivals was a great benefit as the customs requirements were different in each country and the people meeting us really helped. Our travel agency (Kirsty) was outstanding. She put together a great itinerary for us and was always available if we had questions or concerns. The contractors she picked were top notch and the hotel selections were good. Highly recommend.Having the Travel Plan app on our phones was invaluable. Allowed us to see what we were doing and had great explanations of the events and tours as well as our flights. We experienced everything we had hoped for and are totally satisfied.

We were so blessed to have been able to do this trip. It was truly amazing! It was a great idea to choose a local travel agency because anytime i had questions or new requests i was able to contact them directly and the responses were quick. We were received with so much welcomed. The accommodations, activities and the safari were wonderful. This trip made us fall in love with Africa and would love to come back. We thank Zicasso for pairing us with the right agency. And Maurice (Our travel agent contact) for preparing a wonderful itinerary based on our needs. I definitely recommend their services. The main highlight of our trip besides the safari was staying at the Giraffe Manor in Nairobi. When discussed this with other agencies, nobody was able to get us in, as this place is very hard to get into and most people have to book 1 year or 2 years in advance! However, Maurice was able to get us in. This is one of the reasons why we choose Zicasso and Maurice's travel agency. He is a local travel agent and i think our chances were better with him than with other travel agencies. Thank you so much for making our dream come true We love to travel and think of using your services in a near future!

Cannot say enough good things. 5++. Originally I had thought about ending our safari time with a trip to Madagascar, but our travel planner steered us to Zanzibar and that turned out great. When we arrived at Arusha, our greeter met us at the plane doors at the top of the stairs. My wife was having some balance issues, so he helped her down the stairway and commandeered a wheelchair for her. He whisked us through the three health stations and helped retrieve our luggage before we met our driver who sped us off to a coffee lodge. We stayed were a couple of days to accustom ourselves to the time change. Our travel planner saw that we had the cabin closest to the restaurant. They communicated those instructions to the other lodges as well, so my wife didn’t have far to walk to our lodgings. All of the properties we used as safari bases were wonderful. The levels of service were outstanding – the staff couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a great time. Our travel planner had arranged for the same driver/guide to accompany us for the first three lodges. Ali was terrific in adjusting the touring to fit us and in finding game. Besides the usual big five and grazers, we spotted cheetah on the hunt, a python crossing the road, and flamingos (as well as countless other birds). Our favourite of the safari lodges was near the Ngorongoro Crater. Every night we had a fire in the fireplace. After daily safari outings, there was a hot bubble bath with flower petals waiting in the claw-foot tub, and sweet & savoury snacks. The dinners were white table cloth affairs with top-notch cuisine. Our internal flights were well managed. No major snafus. When we arrived at our Serengeti lodge, the welcome was even warmer. We really enjoyed sundowners on the upper terrace, even when a serval jumped on our table and helped himself to a chicken wing. Besides seeing the wildebeest and zebra crossing the Mara River (until the crocs brought one down), a leopard and her two cubs, and a lioness and her four cubs, we finally were lucky enough to see and touch a pangolin. That’s been on my list for a long time. Our final stop on Zanzibar was like a trip to paradise. Every morning we called our butler and let him know what to bring to our sitting room for breakfast. Our bedroom overlooked the Indian Ocean and one of our two plunge pools. We mainly relaxed for five glorious days. Our travel planner had even arranged for a doctor to come and administer our COVID tests in our room so we didn’t need to make the 45 minute journey to the nearest clinic. Usually my wife is ready to return home near the end of a long vacation, but on this trip she agreed that we could stay another week – no problem. If we return to Africa for a fourth safari, we definitely will be calling Danni and Karen .Danni and Karen are a great team.

We couldn't be more pleased with the service we received from Dan and Mandy from our travel agency. They were extremely responsive to all of our many emails and texts and provided extremely comprehensive information to help us be prepared for our adventure. Once we were in country, they kept us up to date on the changing COVID travel requirements for our return home. The details of our trip were all absolutely covered by the operators our travel company works with. We were especially impressed with them! Amazing local knowledge, friendly guides, and a real commitment to helping the community.

This Africa travel company provided excellent communication, recommendations, and service from our initial contact through a follow-up post-trip. We originally booked this trip in 2019 for 2020 prior to the onset of Covid, which led to many uncertainties and changes until it was finally executed in 2021. Canceled flights and changes by a Zambia carrier proved to be challenging for all, but our travel company was monitoring this and took immediate action to resolve connections and lodging issues with each change. Flights going and coming from Africa were not full and the same was true for many internal flights. The exception was for the Zambia flights so one might presume that a canceled flight today would mean a fuller flight tomorrow. The actual execution of our trip went off perfectly and we were very pleased. We felt we were in great hands and well supported if there had been flight issues etc. while en route.
This was our third trip to Africa and we've been on safari for all three. This trip was well organized and there were many transfers and flights involving four different countries in Africa (South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe). At this time, each border crossing required a PCR test for Covid, so our travel planner had to help us coordinate this as well, in order to make this trip possible. At every transfer point, a representative met us to help navigate the local procedures and facilitate movement to our next flight, hotel, border crossing, etc. If we'd been on our own we'd likely have figured this out, but not with the efficiency and knowledge of the processes and procedures that this staff had. Their presence provided an enormous time saving, efficiency, and made the trip less stressful because we knew someone would tell us what to do next. Who would expect for example that we'd be required to clear security prior to checking in for our next flight? Or that baggage would be dropped at the door we'd just entered in the airport vs. another baggage claim area. In Johannesburg, we were quickly escorted for about a 15 minute walk to the lobby of our hotel. It's a large airport and not having to figure it out after a lengthy flight from the USA made this easy and added value.
Team Charles, Sarah, and Karen listened to what we wanted on our trip, and instead of focusing just on Botswana and Victoria Falls, they recommended Zambia as well. For Victoria Falls, we were told Zimbabwe is where we wanted to be. Advice was also provided for the Visa for Zambia/Zimbabwe. Our accommodations were all excellent. We actually benefited substantially with lodging upgrades and private vehicles and guides by traveling to Africa while most are staying home due to Covid. We were comfortable at camps with staff that were vaccinated at all but one of our five camps, masking, social distancing, and sanitization. Significant effort is being made to keep the few travelers visiting safe, so tourism may return sooner vs. later. At one of our airports, the restroom stalls in either Botswana or Zambia were being cleaned after every use! With this said, we've encouraged friends to mask up and consider travel now or in the next six months if they have the opportunity.
We strongly recommend working with this Africa travel company and felt that the presence of staff both in the USA and Africa helped. For this trip, we took a chance as our decision was between doing a trip with this company and with another travel company we've booked with numerous times. We went with this company because it was based on our desired itinerary and we'd be on our own in camps vs. being with a group. My spouse was particularly concerned about this aspect with covid and all the itinerary changes we'd seen prior to the trip, but in the end, we were both extremely satisfied with the end result and format of the trip. We would gladly book another trip through this company.
