Zicasso's travel agent did an excellent job helping us plan, book, and manage our three-week trip to New Zealand.

In planning the trip, the agency did a great job of listening to our desires, explaining options, and then putting together an itinerary. We reviewed it a couple of times and then were set to go. We really appreciated the app that was provided with our itinerary. It contained a day-by-day trip summary, confirmation numbers, contact numbers, and a wealth of other information. It was a one-stop shop for information on our phones. They also provided the information needed for visas, etc.

During our visit, we needed to make a couple of small changes due to weather, etc. The agency was very responsive in real time to help, advise, and make the required changes to our reservations. All changes came through in real time on the app.

Our travel agent helped put together the plan and overall itinerary before going on maternity leave. Another agent took her place and helped us manage our trip while in the country. Both were excellent.

At the end of our trip, we had a net credit on our account because of cancellations due to weather. We were reimbursed within a week.

We would definitely use Zicasso's tour operator again.

Zicasso's travel partner put together an extraordinary travel experience for us. Australia and New Zealand met and, in some instances, exceeded our expectations. In planning this trip, we requested certain experiences and they came through with those that were accomplishable within our time available and resources. This was truly a trip of a lifetime.

Our Zicasso tour operator and her team were top-notch, from our first conversation through the end of our Australia/New Zealand journey. We could not have asked for a better team. They listened intently to our desires for a "bucket-list" trip that favored meeting locals and off-the-beaten-path locations and experiences, rather than typical tourist locations. Based on our early conversations, she delicately guided us away from a few locations that were on our original destination list in favor of deeper experiences (and more time) in other locations. I think others may have simply put together an itinerary with all the destinations the customer listed without regard to weather, the amount of time on planes, and other factors. What we got with this company was more time in key locations where we could immerse ourselves in the local communities and meet the many friendly and special people we encountered.

Lastly, this travel company knows this region deeply. They know the best tour companies and the best people at those companies, creating a truly exceptional experience.

Our March 2024 trip (three weeks) was spectacular, with time in Melbourne, Sydney, and Port Lincoln, as well as Queenstown and Nelson in New Zealand. One of the things the travel company did that made the trip spectacular was this: at each stop, we had a day or two of structured activities and a day or two on our own. That allowed us to get an understanding of the location before we ventured out on our own. I would repeat that on any future trip.

It was our first journey to the region and, over a month later, we are still telling our friends about our special adventures and referring them to this company should they want a truly special experience in Australia and/or New Zealand.

This trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that left us speechless! The grandeur of the cities and breathtaking nature were truly spectacular. Being gone 26 days takes its toll on a person, but the Zicasso travel company took care of everything! The vendors were always on time, with no delays, constant communication, and availability if needed. We received 100% professional service at every turn.

Her knowledge, recommendations, professional attitude, and succinct communications created an adventure that enabled us to enjoy a trip of a lifetime free from worry, stress, or disappointment. New Zealand and its people were spectacular, as was our trip. We felt well taken care of by Zicasso’s travel agent. He was very responsive to inquiries before and during the trip. Kudos to him for his counsel prior to the trip, advising us to spend time exploring areas like The Catlins. Overall, our expectations were exceeded.

The trip was fabulous! I'm so impressed with the way Zicasso's travel partner structured the trip by having a travel day and then a tour day. That structure really made it more enjoyable. The hotels were fantastic as well. I made one recommendation to our tour operator regarding a pod experience – it needs some guardrails for the senior citizen demographic.
