Kid-Friendly Argentina Vacation: Waterfalls & City Lights

My trip was an incredible adventure, which I feel fortunate to have experienced. The excursions were well chosen and hotels outstanding. The logistics of a long trip with over six destinations and activities in the desert, mountains, and urban areas were artfully arranged by Zicasso’s travel specialist and supported by vendors and transit agencies. I had a support network that allowed me to totally enjoy the beautiful and diverse environments, cultures, and activities.

Beginning in December 2025, the travel specialist and his team worked out every detail of travel in Argentina's fall season: all our domestic flights, customized tours, airport transfers, and, most importantly, the most knowledgeable, engaging guides we could ever have imagined. We can't make enough positive comments about our first Patagonian adventure.

Every driver arrived promptly, putting us immediately at ease. Every evening, team members messaged us on WhatsApp to remind us of the next day's transfers and tours. They followed up immediately with answers to any questions we had.

All of our guides were exceptional. Their passion and depth of knowledge made our tours more fascinating and entertaining than any we've ever experienced. We could not have planned anything remotely close to the guides the tour operator included for each tour.

The boutique hotels he arranged for us in Iguazú, Buenos Aires, El Chalten, Calafate, Puerto Natales, and Santiago were very nice and in walkable areas, with many nearby restaurants and stores.

The transfers to and from airports to hotels made us feel like VIPs, especially the first-class van ride from Calafate to Puerto Natales. Guides all had good command of English and were very knowledgeable and helpful, particularly in helping us get through immigration as we travelled between countries. A special shout-out to our guide in Buenos Aires and our guide in Santiago for going above and beyond.

Before, during, and after our three weeks in South America, our travel specialist stayed in touch via WhatsApp. He even met with us twice in person during the time we were in Buenos Aires. I highly recommend the tour company.

Zicasso’s travel specialist built a great itinerary for us and scheduled activities and sites that matched our ideas. It was tailored perfectly, never too little or too much time in one location, so we were able to experience Argentina, Chile, and Antarctica to their fullest, based on our time frame.
