I think it was sustainability that caught Ellen's eye at first, yet it was your focused, calm demeanour that helped us choose the options at the beginning and handle the small bumps during our trek that made this all wonderful.

The trip with our grandsons (13-year-old twins) was amazing. Zicasso’s travel specialist worked with us to create an itinerary that would be interesting and exciting. The guides were excellent, the restaurants were all great. All the travel arrangements were seamless. Highly recommended.

Our Zicasso travel company was fantastic. They planned an exceptional trip for our multi-generational family, ages 7 to 74. We visited three main areas of Costa Rica: Arenal (La Fortuna), the Monteverde Cloud Forest, and Tamarindo on the Pacific Coast.

The activities were thoughtfully curated to appeal to all of us, regardless of age, and included nature preserve tours, hanging bridges tours, cloud forest tours, river wildlife safaris, and estuary tours with incredible naturalists. Our coffee and cacao farm tour was terrific and very interactive, and we made our own chocolate bonbons. And the ziplining was so much fun, even in a tropical storm downpour.

Our lodging was outstanding and provided pools for afternoon breaks and swimming for the grandchildren. And every transfer between locations and adventures went off without a hitch.

The travel company was so attentive to our needs and questions before and during the travel. They were available 24/7 while on the trip and were excellent at adjusting things as unseasonable storms caused some changes. We felt like we were in excellent hands.

Our drivers and guides were so knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They know what they are doing, their service is top-notch, and their subcontractors were excellent. My goal was for us to experience the rainforest and see birds and animals, and we did.

The greatest testimonials are from the grandchildren, ages 7-12. I asked them to keep a journal of our adventures. They could write or illustrate their entries. I never had to beg them to make their entry journals (I couldn't believe it!). Every night, they enthusiastically recorded their impressions with colorful drawings and statements.

This Costa Rica experience is something they, and we, will remember forever. I'm grateful to the travel company for making it happen. And grateful to Zicasso for connecting us to another tremendous travel company.

We were so happy to have worked with Zicasso’s travel specialist. He designed a trip that was really well suited to us. We felt so well taken care of all along the way and we were so impressed by our Lima tour guides and points of contact.

We absolutely loved our family trip to Colombia! Traveling with my husband and our five-year-old son, we were able to experience such a wonderful variety of what the country has to offer. We enjoyed the incredible culture, fabulous food, and, above all, the warm and welcoming people who made us feel so at home throughout our journey.

The itinerary was a beautiful combination of experiences. We started in the historic and vibrant city of Cartagena, then had time to relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches of Barú, and finally immersed ourselves in nature at a beautiful ecolodge in Antioquia, surrounded by the incredible landscapes of the region. Each destination offered something completely different and together they created the perfect balance of culture, relaxation, adventure, and nature for our family.

What made the trip especially memorable, though, was the people. The team from the Zicasso travel company who assisted us throughout the journey was incredibly warm, attentive, and helpful, and the guides we met along the way were wonderful. A special mention must go to our guide in Antioquia, who was absolutely incredible. He was not only knowledgeable and attentive, but also so kind and wonderful with our son. He made him feel comfortable, included, and excited about each experience, which meant so much to us as parents.

Overall, it was a truly special family trip and we cannot wait to return to Colombia!
