Day 1
Barcelona – Arrive in the Charm of Barcelona with the Day at your Leisure
Barcelona is an active and enchanting city with its sandy beaches and Mediterranean waters. The peak of Montjuic Hill offers stunning views of the skyline that are streaked with cathedral spires and old gabled rooftops. Palm trees line the pedestrian-friendly promenades, and the aroma of simmering onions drift from the celebrated vendors inside the La Boqueria Market located along Las Ramblas. Your flight will land at Barcelona-El Prat Airport, and your private transfer will meet you upon your arrival and escort you to your luxurious hotel located in the heart of the captivating city.
Take the time to settle into the comforts of your accommodation before enjoying the remainder of the day at your leisure. Venture to Monestir de Pedralbes for an introduction into the tradition of Catalan Gothic architecture surrounded by palm and cypress trees. The convent was first erected in the 14th century with a stunning three-story cloister. In the evening, the excitement of the city will pour into Las Ramblas, the social heart of the city. Sycamore and oak trees shade the walkways that lead from Plaça de Catalunya to the port. Boutique shops overlook mosaic walkways, and colorful produce fills the stands inside the Boqueria Market. Memorable Mother-Daughter Trip!
We had a wonderful mother-daughter trip to Spain and Portugal! I traveled with my 16-year-old daughter and everything was beautifully organized—excellent accommodations, knowledgeable guides, reliable drivers, and thoughtful recommendations throughout. One of the absolute highlights was a cooking tour in Spain, which gave us an unforgettable, authentic experience.
The agency was extremely responsive and a huge bonus was their app, which made it easy to access our itinerary and connect with them via live chat for questions, tips, and extra suggestions along the way. We felt fully supported from start to finish and would enthusiastically recommend Zicasso's travel partners to anyone planning a special trip.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Zicasso's trip coordinator and the travel company. From the very beginning, our trip coordinator was extremely thorough in the planning process—he listened carefully to what we wanted, accommodated every request, and was always flexible and willing to make adjustments along the way. He thoughtfully considered the wide range of ages in our group (from 11 to 87!) and tailored the trip to ensure everyone was comfortable and fully able to enjoy the journey.
During our nine days in Morocco, our guide was outstanding. He took extra-special care of us—his knowledge of Morocco’s history, culture, and hidden gems made the trip enriching and memorable. On top of that, he was a very safe driver and always attentive to our needs and the little details that made the experience seamless.
We could not have asked for a better team to guide us through Morocco. This travel agent and the travel company made this a once-in-a-lifetime trip for our family and we recommend them without hesitation!

During planning for our trip and exploring options, Zicasso's travel partner was responsive and attentive to our desires. The trip execution was almost flawless. In the situations where we required assistance from them, they were quick to react and solve the minor issues beyond their control.

The trip was fantastic. Everything that was scheduled was well planned, with excellent tour guides, communication with the guides, as well as travel agents live during the trip. The experience was five-star and we could tell that the way it was booked through Zicasso was better for the guides themselves versus how others in our group had booked (ie, through other agencies). There were fewer obstacles, complications, and issues with the booking. We could tell this through our tour guides, as they were more comfortable and knowledgeable about our requests and needs.
Tickets were all organized and either sent to us through PDF or to our tour guides. The off days were were well placed during the week and our requests were more than satisfied.
