Day 3
The rainforest is alive around you, filled with elegant bird calls to start the day. You find the aroma of fresh coffee in the restaurant’s open-air dining room blending with the natural fern and pine fragrance from the surrounding trees. Your private guide meets you in the lobby of Lirio Lodge and escorts you through the Tortuguero canals and Pacuare biological reserve in the morning light when the animals are still active. Day 4

The Cloud Forest Reserve is famous for its rich biodiversity. The moisture of the Pacific and Atlantic oceans converges on the hilltops and creates meandering bursts of graceful clouds.
