You will begin your expedition in Ho Chi Minh City. You will only spend a brief night here before venturing off-the-beaten-path to the country’s immaculate coastal towns and islands. During your stop in Ho Chi Minh City, you will have the afternoon and evening to embrace the exuberant atmosphere that emanates throughout Vietnam. Here, you can indulge in a flamboyant Puppet Show for a colorful depiction of local cultural or peruse back alleys to follow the fragrances of hideaway eateries. Before you settle in for the night, you can distance yourself from the crowds to an agricultural restaurant for a farm-to-table meal paired with regional wines.

The following morning will mark your escape from the hustle of Vietnam’s energetic cityscapes. Today, you will transfer to the breathtaking beachfront of Vung Tau. Spoiled with a suite in a 5-star resort, you will feel at ease in the isolated regality of Vung Tau. You will have the day to bask in the beachfront, whether you wish to stroll along the shaded boulevards or paddle across the glassy waters on kayaks. Afterward, you will immerse yourself in the succulent flavors of Vung Tau’s seafood dishes. The next day, you will have a cultural and history tour of the fabled landmarks across the landscape. Your tour will conclude with Shakyamuni Buddha, which is a massive white image of Buddha.

Your private chauffeur will meet you in the lobby the following day and transfer you to the riverside city of Can Tho. Upon your arrival, you can bask in the dreamy scenes and tuneful melodies of the surrounding wildlife with a peaceful cruise along the Mekong. Afterward, you can invigorate your bodies with an authentic Vietnamese massage at a premier spa center. The next day, you will transfer to the banks of the river, where you will board a boat head for the floating villages, cacao plantations, and iconic heritage sites. Lastly, you will discover Can Tho’s hallowed spiritual architecture before tucking into exquisite Vietnamese cuisine.

Your final destination will be a short plane flight away from Can Tho. This is one of the most off-the-beaten-path island destinations beyond the coastline of Southern Vietnam. You will arrive on the Con Dao Islands and transfer to your luxurious accommodation. Your last two days in Vietnam will spotlight the tropical splendor that the country has to offer. You will also find comfortable areas to enjoy the shade of towering palm trees. Vietnam, Cambodia Tour Review: Hanoi, Siem Reap, Saigon, Angkor Wat, Lan Ha Bay Cruise, 14-Day Trip

We worked with Zicasso's travel consultant at the tour company for several months in planning our two-week trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. She was very accommodating and helpful, never pushy or trying to upsell us. When we had questions, she was responsive and always prompt. We really appreciated her setting up a "fast-pass" through immigration at the Hanoi and Siem Reap airports when we arrived late in the evening.

Although our itinerary was busy, with seven flights, five cities, one cruise, and multiple guides and drivers, everything went smoothly. She checked in with us throughout the trip, keeping us updated, and even took us to lunch in Saigon. We had a very memorable time on our trip and have the tour company to thank for everything. Cảm ơn!

Vietnam, Cambodia Vacation Review: Angkor Wat, 2 Weeks

The team did a terrific job of determining what we wanted to do, see, etc., and built a great itinerary. Once we were confirmed, they kept in touch with updates and ensured we had everything we needed. They also kept in touch while we were in the country, which was appreciated. They helped us with dinner reservations, etc. Our guides, hotels, etc., were excellent.

Vietnam Trip Review: Hanoi, Hoi An, Tam Coc, Old Quarter, Cyclo Tour, Boat Ride, Food Experience, Local Cuisine, 12-Day Tour

Our trip to Northern and Central Vietnam was excellent, and we were so impressed by our Zicasso travel company. Our travel agent was extremely responsive prior to and during our trip. In the planning phase of our trip, he expertly answered all of our questions and adjusted our itinerary, as needed, promptly. During our time in Vietnam, he checked in by phone to ensure our trip was going smoothly.

We were very happy with our itinerary, the sites we visited, and all of our guides and drivers. We could tell the itinerary was planned with a lot of care and attention to detail. Just as a couple of examples, on days with longer drives, we had plenty of rest stops and opportunities to get coffee and snacks, and our guides did a great job of mixing indoor and outdoor activities to ensure we stayed as cool as possible as our trip to Vietnam was during the summer.

We'd also like to highlight the meals that were included as part of our tour. They were mostly set menus and the travel company did a wonderful job selecting each dish and taking us to restaurants with delicious food! It was a fantastic experience all-around.
