Detailed Description

Staggering complexity, intimate discover, and distinctive culture defines your personalized 14-day tour of Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. Southeast Asia brims with fascinating color emanating from pristine shorelines, lush local fruits, and radiant verdant jungles while providing unique scenery shifting between the borders of each country. Collectively, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand encapsulate the fascinating highlights of Southeast Asia. Individually the three countries represent the disparate cultures and intertwined histories spanning the subcontinent radiating with golden temples, emerald Buddhas, lavish religious complexes, or towering limestone karsts.

Vietnam is compelling its exotic ambiance encompassing massive mountains, gold-sand beaches, and impressive history. Cities captivate visitors with dramatic traditional cuisine and a combination of traditional architecture with contemporary style. Your seven nights in Vietnam reveal the depth of the country spanning Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. Spend time floating exploring deep caves and maneuvering through fantastical limestone karsts on an overnight cruise and traverse a portion of the Cu Chi Tunnels, the vast network the army used during what locals call the Resistance War. Vietnam provides a fantastic balance between tropical and cultural with enchanting views on the Hai Van Pass and exceptional cultural heritage in Hoi An.

Cambodia represents an indelible charm emanating from the spell the ancient city of Angkor casts on visitors. Two nights in Siem Reap provide insight into the authentic way modernity and antiquities collide in an epic adventure of exploration. The Angkor National Museum hosts a magnificent collection of artifacts shaping the greater narrative around Angkor’s vast empire while the city of Siem Reap showcases how a boomtown can become a celebrated city of contemporary culture while cradling vibrant custom and tradition. Explore the vast array of temples inside the Angkor complex beginning at sunrise for the fantastic image of the sun peeking above the iconic spires of Angkor Wat.

Thailand embraces its image as fun-loving and historic, cultured, generous, and tropical. Several days in Thailand unravels the veneer of Bangkok and the prestige of Chiang Mai revealing the gripping complexities and captivating wonders of the country’s two largest cities. Bangkok is both sacred and open, disparate and egalitarian. The classic sites of the city showcase the lavish history of the Thai Empire, a love for the monarchy, and the ever-present juxtaposition between the city’s preserved past and continued eye on the future. Bangkok feels rushed and tropical while Chiang Mai has a tranquil, mountainous quality in the north of Thailand. The country’s second-city is animated balancing cultural temples with modern structures hidden in the trees. Heritage digs roots down deep in the temples at Lampang and Lamphun while the local government has done more to help support ethical elephant camps introducing visitors to protected elephants saved from around Southeast Asia.

Thailand Graduation Vacation Review: Bangkok, Krabi, Chiang Mai, Elephant Sanctuary, Food Tour, Beaches, 10-Day Trip

We recently returned from a 10-day trip to Bangkok, Krabi, and Chiang Mai. The trip was expertly planned by Zicasso's travel designer and their team, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we stepped out from the jetway, we were warmly greeted by one of the travel company's team members. We were taken care of from the point of arrival to the point of departure and everywhere in between. They planned an unforgettable vacation to celebrate our daughter's college graduation and she was "wowed" with the elephants, the food tour, the beach, and, most importantly, the people.

I wholeheartedly recommend this travel company to plan your next dream vacation. It was nothing short of amazing and we look forward to returning.

Indonesia Multigenerational Tour Review: Yogyakarta, Borobudur, Bali, Accessible Family-Friendly Travel

It was a Herculean task to plan a trip for my parents, who are almost 80 years old. Zicasso's tour planner knew what was needed from the get-go. There was an army of folks whose every need had to be taken care of. Even though we had taken wheelchair access with the airline, our agent arranged for helpers, who were waiting at the aircraft door!!

The entire team of tour guides and wheelchair helpers and drivers were all such amazing people. They all went above and beyond trying to help my parents. Our agent was also present in every city to make sure things were going well.

I would highly recommend his agency to folks wanting to travel to Bali.

Vietnam Trip Review: Hanoi, Hoi An, Tam Coc, Old Quarter, Cyclo Tour, Boat Ride, Food Experience, Local Cuisine, 12-Day Tour

Our trip to Northern and Central Vietnam was excellent, and we were so impressed by our Zicasso travel company. Our travel agent was extremely responsive prior to and during our trip. In the planning phase of our trip, he expertly answered all of our questions and adjusted our itinerary, as needed, promptly. During our time in Vietnam, he checked in by phone to ensure our trip was going smoothly.

We were very happy with our itinerary, the sites we visited, and all of our guides and drivers. We could tell the itinerary was planned with a lot of care and attention to detail. Just as a couple of examples, on days with longer drives, we had plenty of rest stops and opportunities to get coffee and snacks, and our guides did a great job of mixing indoor and outdoor activities to ensure we stayed as cool as possible as our trip to Vietnam was during the summer.

We'd also like to highlight the meals that were included as part of our tour. They were mostly set menus and the travel company did a wonderful job selecting each dish and taking us to restaurants with delicious food! It was a fantastic experience all-around.
