Trip was good except for following.Visit to elevated swinging path tree tour was a mess. Not well organized. For instance, our session started 1 hour later than scheduled. There were over 100 people in line and the size of the tour groups were 12 in size. This meant that the last 12 in line started their tour 2 hours after the scheduled start time. The tour overview for each group lasted about 1 minute and consequently wasn't sufficient. There were no tour guides to elaborate on the trees, etc. We scheduled the "dusk" tour but because of late starting time our tour was in the dark. This meant that we couldn't read the explanation signs at each platform or even see the details of the trees, in spite of the small lights mounted in there trees. Tour would have been better during the day.In Christchurch we took the tour tram. The sights along the tour track were close enough - about a 15 minute walk to the garden park - that we could have walked, which we did coming back. The shower in a couple of the hotels we stayed at we so small that I (Paul) had difficulty even turning around round, much less using my arms to lather up. This should be checked into.Anyway, we greatly enjoyed the trip --- thanks to you --- and Chelsea was especially helpful in the planning. Paul and Cindy

It was truly the trip of a lifetime and due mostly to Dick Webster at our travel agency. Dick diligently worked with us for almost 4 years (through COVID and travel restriction delays) to put together the perfect trip. Everything -- activities, lodging, travel, restaurant suggestions -- was perfect. Not having to worry about even the smallest detail made the trip seamless. Throughout the process and through the actual trip itself, Dick was very responsive to any questions we had and checked in regularly (but not overly much) to make sure all was as it should be. I can't recommend his services enough. Just wish I could use him for all my travel around the rest of the world!!

Our family had a fabulous time in Australia - Melbourne, Kangaroo Island, Port Douglas & Sydney. We spent time doing what was most important to us - seeing and learning about Australian wildlife, their habitat, flora, the rainforest and reefs. We had several excellent tours led by knowledgeable and engaging guides. We also spent several days in both Melbourne and Sydney to get to know those cities as well. The Aussies we met were friendly and happy to talk with us. Rick at the travel agency was quite knowledgeable about the area, listened to what we wanted and made suggestions. Based on our conversations and emails, he scheduled many interesting, high-quality activities and booked great accommodations - all in excellent locations with the right amount of space for the family. We stayed in 4 locations in the 2 1/2 weeks we were there and all transportation was set up for us making travel a breeze. A couple of weeks before our departure, Rick met with us for a couple of hours via Webex and went through every detail of the trip so we would be prepared and could ask questions.I highly recommend this travel company.

My husband and I went on a wonderful trip to New Zealand - North and South Island - that was actually planned for 2021 but could not go until this year. I like to work with an agent and Lindsay from our travel agency was extremely responsive offering helpful options and suggestions. Even though the time we spent on the North Island was right after the torrential rains, we modified the itinerary to spend 4 days in the Taupo area and 2 days in Rotorua. We hiked in the Tongariro National Park and part of the Great Lake Pathway, sailed to view the Maori Rock Carvings and visited Orakei Korako geothermal pools and Huka Falls in the Lake Taupo area. In Rotorua, we relaxed in the mineral pools of the spa and enjoyed the indigenous Maori experience at Te Puia. The next 12 days were spent on the South Island where we had sunny and warm weather! One of our favorite places was Abel Tasman Park where we went Kayaking and hiked on the beautiful Coast Trek. We continued our adventures on a memorable heli-hiking experience on the Tasman Glacier in the Mt. Cook region, followed by visiting the unique blue penguins and Royal Albatrosses on the Otago Peninsula and a hike and cruise on the famous Milford Sound in Fjordland National Park. We ended our journey with 3 days in Lake Wanaka area where we kayaked, hiked, and went to some of the region's famous wineries.

I cannot say enough great things about the travel company and Karen. From start to finish, Karen was an absolute pleasure to work with. She listened attentively to our interests early on, worked with us to craft an ideal itinerary, and was patient along the way as we made changes to travel dates and our needs shifted. She seemed to really "get us" right away, and customized a 12 day trip that felt uniquely curated for our family. Karen was incredibly responsive despite the time difference between NZ and the US, answering all of our questions almost immediately. She took great care to find outstanding accommodations, tour guides, and restaurants--every single one of her recommendations was spot on. Karen even took time out of her busy schedule to meet us in person in Nelson, which only confirmed our suspicion that Kiwis are the nicest people on earth!I am a stickler for detail, but I felt relaxed about all logistics thanks to the very detailed itinerary Karen provided that kept all important information in one place (and having it on an app on my phone was even better!) At all times, we knew exactly what we needed to know--where, when, and how we would get from one point to the next, what to expect each day, and what to do if things did not go smoothly (but they always did!) Anyone booking a trip to NZ should use the travel company and never look back. They will ensure the trip of a lifetime.
David's Travel Agency

David from our travel agency and his team developed a great itinerary for my brothers, my partner and myself. We felt as if we got a real sense of the culture, nature and wildlife, food and sights in the countries but what was most important was the authenticity of the experiences, perfectly fitted to our desires and preferences. We did run into Cyclone Gabrielle, which impacted our arrival into Auckland, but with the support of David and his team, we were able to find alternative accommodations and modified transit plans. There were other glitches in transportation (i.e. delays in train and ferry schedules) but close communications with in-country travel specialists smoothed our way to get our itinerary back on track. Having David and his team for support, gave our group confidence that our issues would be resolved as quickly as possible. That service is priceless. We sent photos home to family and friends during our travels and they commented on what a fabulous trip we were having and how exceptional our travel specialists must be to have put together such a wonderful trip full of unique and fun activities. I often share past itineraries with family and friends that are considering travels to places I have been. I will highly recommend this travel agency to others and will contact them again if I have future travels to destinations they support.

Our trip of a lifetime was wonderful!! I can't say enough about the professionalism by this travel agency & our travel agent Shelley. The excursions & accommodations were great. We were able to visit so many beautiful places in both Australia & New Zealand.During our trip we decided to change some of our accommodations to allow more time to visit with a friend in New Zealand. In addition, there was a cyclone that hit New Zealand & we had to make additional changes in our itinerary. Shelley responded promptly to our emails & concerns. She helped us to locate other accommodations and we were able to continue enjoying our trip.I would highly recommend this company... and also the app Vamoos that they provide travelers to assist with all of the details of the trip. It was outstanding.
