Planning a trip with Zicasso's travel specialist was an amazing experience. We told them what we would like to do and they catered everything to our interests, plus things we didn't even know we would want to do! We put our full trust in the team and they over-delivered. They provided us with private transfers we didn't know we needed and kept us ahead of any crowds or lines that would have made the trip less enjoyable. They made us feel very special and taken care of for our entire honeymoon in Italy. We will absolutely be using them again for any future travels!

We had a terrific time in Italy! We are especially thankful for the seamless assistance while getting around! Every driver or guide was on time, looking out for us and guiding us on our way. They were all so personable and welcoming; they really added to our enjoyment of the trip.

Overall, the trip was fabulous. From the start, everything worked like clockwork. The drivers were on time and great. Our connections with trains worked perfectly. I had a concern about the noise level in several of the hotels and that was addressed. Thank you.
The Guides: Our guide in Bologna and Modena was extremely knowledgeable and delightful. We loved spending time with her. Our guide in Verona was knowledgeable and entertaining. Our guide in Ortisei was a good guide for the Dolomites. We enjoyed our hikes and lunches. He also made sure we knew where to secure gondola tickets for the third day. Our guide in Stresa was delightful and extremely knowledgeable. Milan was extremely hot and it was difficult for the four of us to keep up with our guide's commentary on the busy streets.
Hotels: Our hotels in Bologna and Verona were great. We loved the balcony and rooftop bar at our hotel in Bologna. Our hotel in Ortisei was wonderful. The service, room, and amenities were all top-notch. I did not care for the town of Torbole. We hiked to Riva del Garda and that would have been a better location for us. Our hotel in Stresa was beautiful and the pool was fantastic. Our hotel in Milan was nice, but nothing fantastic.
Side Trips: We absolutely loved our trip to Modena, learning about Parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar. We also loved our cooking class. Our host and her mother were fabulous, the lunch was wonderful, and the town of Borghetto was breathtaking.

We received good communication and flexibility from Zicasso's travel company. There was detailed information in the original proposal and the final instructions.

It couldn’t have gone smoother and couldn’t have been planned better. And the responsiveness of our personal Zicasso agent was very rapid, even well after dinner time, if we had a question, comment, or concern.

Overall, our trip went very smoothly, even with the couple of changes we made on the fly. The drivers and guides were always prompt and courteous. All in all, we loved Malta! We want to give special thanks to Zicasso's travel consultant, who was a great help to us in all of our planning.
The hotel was beautiful, with a great location. The general manager was superb, as were all the front-desk staff. The manager offered excellent restaurant suggestions and general assistance.
Our room was quite nice and spacious. One issue with it was that it was a separate room from the other guest rooms, with access through the restaurant. The proximity to the restaurant meant that late at night and early in the morning we could hear noises from the kitchen and restaurant (tables and chairs scaping on the floor). However, we did love the hotel overall and would highly recommend it.

We recently returned from an incredible trip to Italy, planned by Zicasso’s travel company, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation.
From the moment we arrived until the day we returned home, every detail was thoughtfully planned and flawlessly executed. We visited Rome, Sorrento, Positano, Ravello, Florence, and Venice, traveling between destinations by train. Every transition was seamless, making it easy for us to relax and enjoy the experience rather than worry about logistics.
The hotels were wonderful, with our accommodations in Sorrento being especially exceptional. The locations were perfect, allowing us to fully experience each destination and make the most of our time.
The curated excursions and guided tours were outstanding. Our guides were always punctual, knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and culture of each region. Every outing felt carefully selected and added something special to our trip.
What impressed me most was the level of service provided by the travel company. They checked in with us several times throughout the trip to ensure everything was going smoothly and that we were enjoying ourselves. That personal attention made us feel valued and well cared for.
This was one of the best travel experiences I have ever had. If you are considering a trip to Italy, I highly recommend this travel company. Their expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction made this vacation truly unforgettable. I will absolutely be using them for future travel.
