Northern Italy Itineraries & Tours

This was our second experience using Zicasso to plan a vacation, this time including our children. We weren't disappointed and will continue to use Zicasso! Our travel specialist put together a wonderful trip for us!

It was a pleasure working with Zicasso’s travel specialist and her team for our recent trip to Italy, including Rome and Sicily. The travel specialist was thoughtful throughout and demonstrated exceptional local knowledge when crafting our itinerary, particularly for Sicily, where we spent seven to eight days exploring the northwest, east, and southeast regions.

The itinerary beautifully blended visits to charming fishing villages with well-paced day tours, allowing for meaningful free time in between. In fact, she strongly encouraged us to include a free day to explore on our own, which made a noticeable difference, as we never felt rushed or exhausted. The hotels were impeccably selected and added greatly to the overall experience.

This was a truly memorable trip that we enjoyed every step of the way.

Thank you to the travel specialist and the travel company for creating such a wonderful experience. We will absolutely turn to them again for our next visit to Italy.

Zicasso’s travel company and every single guide and driver were stellar. All four hotels were good or excellent. There was one error on the schedule for the day outside of Florence when we had a driver to take us to the Siena region. The schedule stated three hours, so we paid for tickets to the Pitti Palace/garden, which turned out to be wasted money as the driving tour was actually nine hours. It was a beautiful day, though.

What a great, memorable trip facilitated by Zicasso’s travel company. They did an awesome job listening to what we wanted to experience and offering their advice and expertise to match what we were trying to accomplish. Their attention to detail and partnerships with the area's vendors (lodging, dining, touring, etc.) were so very impressive. Their full team was very responsive and they supported us before and, more importantly, during our trip. We highly recommend anyone traveling to Italy to use them and we will use them again for our next trip there!

From day one of planning, Zicasso’s travel company did an awesome job. They tailored the trip for our likes and never tried to pressure us into add-ons we didn't want. The hotels were four- or five-star and located in the perfect spots. The car company they used was very good. They also answered every question we had in a timely manner. We will use them again when we return to Italy.

The tours and guides Zicasso’s travel specialist set up were fantastic. The agenda was perfect and just what we wanted. Hotels were located close to things we wanted to see and very comfortable. One hotel was a little noisy on the weekend portion of our stay. We would use our travel specialist again. Thank you.
