We had an amazing trip to China, thanks to Zicasso’s travel company. Our travel specialist created a great itinerary for Xian, Suzhou, and Xitang, and was always helpful, friendly, and quick to respond. The hotels they arranged were high-quality and well-located, and all transfers were smooth and on time.

In Xian, we spent three wonderful days with our guide. She was knowledgeable, experienced, and attentive. Our visit to the Terracotta Warriors was unforgettable. We also loved the hands-on noodle-making experience with local residents and trying Xian’s specialty foods.

We then explored Suzhou and Xitang for two days with our guide. His recommendations helped us appreciate Suzhou’s classical gardens, canals, and traditional architecture. In Xitang, he led us through quieter lanes, scenic bridges, and charming riverside areas, and introduced us to local snacks and artisan shops that made the visit feel authentic.

We highly recommend this travel company for anyone planning a trip to China.

Zicasso’s travel specialist and the travel company arranged a very memorable 22-day trip for us to China. It was a mix of their suggestions and our must-sees, integrated into a well-paced schedule that took us from Beijing to Tibet, Xi’an, Longsheng, Guilin, Yangshuo, Huangshan, and Shanghai.

Our guides were wonderful, some exceptional—taking us out on the town after the tour was over or switching up our itinerary to squeeze in some interesting additional items. The hotels were all great—a mix of exquisite boutiques, resorts, and larger hotels in great locations. Our drivers were very experienced, navigating busy Beijing streets or Tibetan passes, and the vehicles were extremely comfortable and well appointed.

Our only feedback is perhaps just a reality of China—a “private” tour in a densely populated country means long queues and, at major sites, crushing crowds.

Zicasso's travel company planned a wonderful trip that covered the highlights of what I was interested in for the cities I chose: Beijing, Xi'an, Chongqing, and Chengdu.

The guides in each city were all wonderful and prepared. They spoke English more than well enough to communicate the history and culture of each. They also provided wonderful suggestions in terms of activities and food for when the tours were done and remained open for communication.

All in all, China was a wonderful time, and our travel company made it easy to travel to.

Overall, it was a great trip, with excellent hotels and guides, and great communication. I wish our time were better allocated though. For instance, one day in Tokyo and four days in Kyoto was not balanced. We would have preferred three days in Tokyo and two days in Kyoto. We visited too many shrines and temples, and would've liked more fun activities. But overall, it was good.

Our Zicasso agent was fabulous. She was communicative, thorough, responsive, and made our first trip to China a wonderful experience.

I traveled with my two sons, and this was their first visit. We wanted a mix of private tours in the traditional cities (Beijing, Shanghai) and free time to explore on our own in the newer cities (Chengdu, Chongqing). She recommended certain apps and helped explain the system in China (payments, subway, etc), which can be quite different than in N. America/Europe.

The guides she provided were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Even if you are veteran traveler, if you have not been to China in 20+ years, it certainly helps to have someone to guide you! Our travel specialist and her company is the choice!

My China trip with my 10-year-old grandson exceeded our expectations at every turn, from the welcome and VIP pass through customs to the guides and drivers for each city, to the five-star hotels.

Traveling with a wonderful guide and personal driver has me spoiled and now I don’t want to travel any other way. Zicasso’s travel specialist was extremely helpful in the planning of our travels, listening to what we wanted and making all our dreams come true!
