We highly recommend this travel agency. We wanted to go to SE Asia for a month-long trip but didn't know where to start; it seemed so overwhelming. Then, thru Zicasso, we found this company. Soon after engaging with them, they gave us a good idea of where we should go and what we should based on our desires and constraints. Together, we designed a trip that was fantastic. We just returned from spending a month visiting five countries, and we loved our entire trip. And when we needed help or had questions along the way, they were readily available to support us.we are recommending them to all of our friends, and we will certainly use them again if we travel to that part of the world.

We had a great trip up until the last 4 days or so. This was no fault of the travel company but it was cut short buy the coronvirus. We started our trip near the end of February and the virus was somewhat limited to China and didn't seem to be a problem in the rest of the world. In fact, starting our Vietnam tour in Ho Chi Minh we found most of the attractions not very busy.We did kind of semi custom trip with it starting in Ho Chi Minh, going south to the Mekong Delta and then over to Cambodia. The hotels were very good in the first 2 stops but in Cambodia (Siem Reap) we had probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel by the Siem Reap river was exceptional with a couple of extras I had never seen before. Free laundry and a free massage (daily). The people in this hotel were also very friendly and helpful. Our next stop in Hoi Ann was a very nice stop as well. We spend a few days seeing the sights (a tour of Marble Mountain and a great Vespa tour around the countryside in Hoi Ann) but we also stayed in a hotel by the sea so we were able to add in a beach type vacation. The next stop in Hue was also very interesting seeing the Citadel. Also had my favourite lunch here at a french style restaurant.Going up to Hanoi we noticed things were changing as we couldn't do the tour of Ha Long/Lan Ha Bay. The government was closing tourist areas as the virus was spreading rapidly in the world. We did go down to Ninh Binh to see that area but temples and attractions were closing there as well. We changed our flights but almost got stuck at a hotel due to a potential virus spread in the hotel. Thankfully, the tests were negative and we were able to leave on schedule. The last few days required a number of changes to our plans as things were quickly and unexpectedly closing around us quickly. As you can imagine this caused a great deal of stress not knowing if we even be allowed to leave. All this required us to rely heavily on our travel planner of this company. We had to change tour plans, hotel reservations and even meal plans. I am so thankful that we got the advice, changes and support when we needed it. Not sure that a tour guide from back home would have been able to help us to the degree that we received from our planner. Overall it was a great vacation. The guides, drivers, attractions and hotels were all top notch. We were able to adjust the pace of the vacation for it to be relaxing as well as interesting. Unfortunately, things beyond our control forced us to cut it short.

Very accommodating. When they made a scheduling error they willingly paid the difference. Their hotel choices were excellent. The itinerary could have been better. 2 days on a boat that was boring. Not enough days in Luang Prabang. Too many long drivers especially 8 hour drive to Plan of Jars. Fortunately I changed their recommendation and flew out.

We had a terrific trip but I feel compelled to only give this tour company four stars because of the difficulties we had in the planning stage. We quickly signed a contract with them based on an itinerary and hotels they proposed and then they told us that most of them were booked and offered alternatives, some of which were not equivalent to what was initially in their itinerary. We eventually got it straighten out with the help of zicasso customer service. I might also add that once we were en route, we had an excellent trip. Great guides, great experiences, lovely hotels and just about everything was executed well.

Our trip was excellent from the range of experiences to the pace that filled our days with the right balance of scheduled activities with the opportunities for self exploration and relaxation. The guides were all very good to excellent and very willing to adapt in real time to what else we were interested in seeing or what we were wanting to spend more time on. They made it easy to experience many more things than we could have on our own, or that we would have missed entirely. Our travel planner was excellent. She interviewed us to get a good appreciation of our interests and worked with us to iterate the itinerary until it was optimized to contain the range of experiences we preferred for the time we had available. She made good suggestions during the process which added to our understanding of what we could pick from to gain a broader cultural experience. We were even able to fine tune one item just two weeks before our departure because of their local representation when it seemed the addition would not be possible. The travel time was also kept to a minimum, which made more time available for the activities. Our travel planner also checked in regularly during our trip to make sure everything was going well and to provide any additional assistance that might be needed. This was a big help when we had to make several return flight changes.

We had an amazing trip. Pretty much faultless, everything was easy and very well organised and any small thing that we wanted addressing throughout the holiday was actioned immediately. Our travel specialist was great and frequently checked in as well throughout the holiday. Before the holiday our travel specialist offered many ideas of what to do but worked really closely with me on preparation as I liked many ideas but there were particular things/hotels we wanted to go to and these were all incorporated. Our travel specialist also helped with Visa preparation etc. On our last day before we left for the airport our travel specialist called the hotel for a final check in which was lovely. We (my husband and I) both have high standards and we came away having what I think was one of our favourite trips, and we travel a fair bit. Thanks to the travel company and in particular our travel specialist.

Thailand Couple's Trip Review, Kanchanaburi, Bamboo Rafting Lunch, Hellfire Pass & Burma Museum, Elephant Sanctuary
I can’t imagine going to Thailand without this Travel Company: they gave us a beautiful, tailor-made itinerary with no-stress travel from beginning to end. At the outset, our decision to use Zicasso for this trip was based on the following factors: 1) previous amazing experience booking/planning our honeymoon, 2) loved ones’ stories of travel difficulties in Thailand, and 3) our confidence in the travel planner’s (owner and founder, Travel Company) abilities and expertise. Additionally, my husband and I have very demanding careers with very little personal time; thus, planning a Thailand itinerary that incorporated every city and activity we desired seemed like a gargantuan task.
Of those we spoke to, our travel planner was most exceptional, and his own experiences of once being a newcomer in Thailand shaped his unique perspective on must-see sights and worthwhile adventures. Our planner spent a great deal of time speaking to us one-on-one by phone as he planned the trip, and stayed available to us throughout our time in Thailand by an app. Our trip was 14-days (18 days counting travel), and involved many transfers by air, car, boat, and bus. The planner advised us on what to book, and even helped us decide the cities and length of time spent in each city. Our itinerary incorporated 3 nights in Chiang Mai, 5 nights in Krabi, 4 nights in Bangkok (6 if you count the first and last nights), and 2 nights in Kanchanaburi. Our travel planner booked every single activity, hotel, and car, bus, boat, and flight for us: from in-country domestic flights to making dinner reservations for us. For Krabi, I wanted a jacuzzi villa at a beautiful resort only accessible by boat and he secured it for us! The most difficult hotel to book was the floating villa on the River Kwai; it’s considered one of the most beautiful floating hotels in the world, so it was a high-priority and somewhat difficult but our planner did it!
Since I am vegetarian, the travel planner went above-and-beyond to book me vegetarian meals on every domestic flight and for every activity. Every guide and/or driver was made aware of the vegetarian issue, and--in the end--it was as if I had more [vegetarian] food than the meat-eaters! I’ve never felt so accepted and included as I did on this trip. I’ve been to countries where these accommodations were not fully provided by guides/agents; thankfully, these struggles have long been “history” since we started booking with Zicasso!
Even if he was out of the office, our planner had us connected with his other team members, and every guide and driver was provided our contact and vice versa. For our time in Kanchanaburi, we were booked an amazing guide who was with us from pick-up to drop-off (3 days!) for all of our Kanchanaburi activities. I had a concerning abrasion after a fall in Krabi, and our guide took us to a hospital, translated for us, and even coordinated with the doctors to expedite our clinic visit.
We can’t imagine our trip without this Travel Company, and the fabulously flawless care provided by the travel planner and his team. Our planner’s dedication to perfectionism and seamlessness shines through how he runs the company, and we are grateful that we were matched up with them. For anyone on the fence, the extra funds required to book a comprehensive package really are worth it for Thailand. Especially if you want to travel outside of the city you fly into, hiring a team like this company is absolutely imperative if you want confidence and trust in those transporting you and guiding you through each city.

Travel Agent Review: Myanmar (Burma), Luxury One Month Vacation
Zicasso Travel is a company that matches a customer’s Wish List to a Travel Agency that has expertise in the country you want go to, and that’s the key. What a great service! Zicasso forwarded our information to this travel specialist for a trip to Myanmar. The travel specialist's service and knowledge in planning our month long, private tour was exceptional. Our agent's ability to accommodate my special needs had our trip be “the trip of a lifetime.” Our agent's communication with the local guides was seamless. Every detail during our travels went like clockwork. You only get one chance to make memories like these.Use these companies to plan your trip - you won’t be disappointed!

Good trip. Good company. They made some stumbles (we requested twin beds but in every hotel we were given a king sized bed and had to correct their mistake) but overall were pretty good. I'd endorse Myanmar as a place worth traveling to. The people there are as friendly as described and our local guides did everything they could to make us feel welcomed and comfortable.
