The travel company did a phenomenal job helping me plan a family vacation for multiple families. We started planning for this trip in 2019 and were scheduled to travel for Christmas holiday in December 2020; it was originally planned for 20+ travelers.  Due to the pandemic, we had to postpone the trip twice and more than half the travelers had to cancel. The travel planner and her team were unbelievably attentive and patient with all of the changes to the dates, the itinerary, and the number of clients. With every change, she was very mindful of the budget and the overall vision for the trip.  If the details are important to you (and why wouldn't they be with a trip like this), I would highly recommend this travel company!

The trip was great - everything we wanted it to be! The travel designer was very responsive in adjusting our itinerary to make sure that we got the experiences and accommodations that we wanted in each of the four locations we went.  The transports that the designer arranged were very professional, friendly, punctual, and knowledgeable.  This was the perfect way to plan and spend our honeymoon!

Our first Safari trip to South Africa fulfiled all of our dreams and expectations and then some. We had the trip of a lifetime and most of the credit goes to the travel team. From helping with the initial planning to making last minute changes they were fabulous. We were always made to feel very comfortable, from meeting us at every airport to assist with transport to reschedualing side trips to better meet our needs the travel team was on top of it all. We would not have had as good a trip as we did with out there help and guidence.

Cannot say enough good things. 5++. Originally I had thought about ending our safari time with a trip to Madagascar, but our travel planner steered us to Zanzibar and that turned out great. When we arrived at Arusha, our greeter met us at the plane doors at the top of the stairs. My wife was having some balance issues, so he helped her down the stairway and commandeered a wheelchair for her. He whisked us through the three health stations and helped retrieve our luggage before we met our driver who sped us off to a coffee lodge. We stayed were a couple of days to accustom ourselves to the time change. Our travel planner saw that we had the cabin closest to the restaurant. They communicated those instructions to the other lodges as well, so my wife didn’t have far to walk to our lodgings. All of the properties we used as safari bases were wonderful. The levels of service were outstanding – the staff couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a great time. Our travel planner had arranged for the same driver/guide to accompany us for the first three lodges. Ali was terrific in adjusting the touring to fit us and in finding game. Besides the usual big five and grazers, we spotted cheetah on the hunt, a python crossing the road, and flamingos (as well as countless other birds). Our favourite of the safari lodges was near the Ngorongoro Crater. Every night we had a fire in the fireplace. After daily safari outings, there was a hot bubble bath with flower petals waiting in the claw-foot tub, and sweet & savoury snacks. The dinners were white table cloth affairs with top-notch cuisine. Our internal flights were well managed. No major snafus. When we arrived at our Serengeti lodge, the welcome was even warmer. We really enjoyed sundowners on the upper terrace, even when a serval jumped on our table and helped himself to a chicken wing. Besides seeing the wildebeest and zebra crossing the Mara River (until the crocs brought one down), a leopard and her two cubs, and a lioness and her four cubs, we finally were lucky enough to see and touch a pangolin. That’s been on my list for a long time. Our final stop on Zanzibar was like a trip to paradise. Every morning we called our butler and let him know what to bring to our sitting room for breakfast. Our bedroom overlooked the Indian Ocean and one of our two plunge pools. We mainly relaxed for five glorious days. Our travel planner had even arranged for a doctor to come and administer our COVID tests in our room so we didn’t need to make the 45 minute journey to the nearest clinic. Usually my wife is ready to return home near the end of a long vacation, but on this trip she agreed that we could stay another week – no problem. If we return to Africa for a fourth safari, we definitely will be calling Danni and Karen .Danni and Karen are a great team.

Our trip was beyond amazing and despite all the issues we could have had traveling during COVID, because of Simon and his team’s help, everything went absolutely perfectly!! I would book with them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to others!! We had never used a travel agent before but thought due to COVID and the fact that this trip was more involved than previous trips we have taken, it might be helpful to have someone guide us through each step. I absolutely know this trip would not have even come close to comparing to the incredible experience we had without the help of this travel company.

Our trip to South Africa, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia was an amazing trip having a large variety of sites, from cities to waterfalls (Victoria Falls) to wild animals in three different game parks and amazing desert colors. We did a lot of travelling, mostly by small charter planes. The basic itinerary was developed by us with a lot of input from our agent, Tanya, who finalized it and arranged all the accommodations, guides, travel arrangements, hotels, game parks etc. Not only were all the arrangements complete and met our requirements, but during the trip she constantly stayed in touch with us and was on top of every step of the way, including unforeseen changes (e.g., delay in flights). We travel frequently around the world, and this was one of our most successful trips.

If you are considering an outfitter to plan a trip to Africa, I cannot express strongly enough how much you should consider this travel agency!  I just returned from a 2-week “trip of a lifetime” safari that was originally scheduled to start one-week before the global lockdown.  My travel planner had created the most incredible trip to Tanzania to see the Serengeti and then to Rwanda to see the mountain gorillas. I was not sure how they would be able to handle the lock-down given the unknowns of travel for an unknown period of time.  The long-term nature of this travel company's relationships with their vendors coupled with the professionalism and integrity of their company resulted in the trip being rescheduled (a few times) without really any increase in costs and at the same exceptional accommodations and itinerary. The camps I stayed at were exquisite (5 star) and gave me such a personal feel of different ways to experience the Serengeti.  The personal guides in both Tanzania and Rwanda were beyond my expectations in their knowledge, passion, and dedication to supporting an exceptional client experience. Additionally, this travel company demonstrated at every step of the trip their personal commitment to ensure I felt safe and secure (given Covid concerns/requirements and unfamiliarity with the countries), and supported 24/7 with every question, no matter how small or large.   I hope to return to Africa again… and I would ONLY use this travel company.  Please consider them… and just give them a call.  From the very first contact, I knew this was the company with whom I wanted to build my trip of a lifetime adventure.

I can’t believe that we have been back for so long and that it's taken methis long to write to you!!!  Actually, perhaps it’s just exactly as it issupposed to be because the longer we are back the more and more the tripmeans to me.I cannot thank you enough for everything that you did for us to makeour journey this past Autumn the most wonderful trip any of us have everbeen on!!  It was said over and over again that it was a trip of a lifetime! The experiences that we had, the people we met, the gorgeous animals that wewere able to spend time with and share in a tiny bit of their lives wereunforgettable.  The plains of the Masi Mara were stunningly beautiful ……with the buffalo, zebra, lions, leopards, cheetah, elephants, wildebeest, giraffe, antelope, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, and the occasional acaciatree….the birds….all of it stunning!!!  Our first night at the Govenor’sCamp we awoke at 4:30 AM to a huge bang and the noise of rustling leaves. 10feet behind a tent an elephant had knocked a tree in half and wasenjoying her breakfast of fresh leaves and twigs!!!  What a way to start oursafaris!!!The beauty of Rwanda surprised us all!  We had been so intent of our trekswith the Gorillas that we hadn’t thought of the landscape, it is sobeautiful!  Our treks, especially the first one, were gruelling but were soworth the effort.  The porters and guides were gentle, supportive and veryknowledgable.  And then there are the gorillas…what is there to say aboutthem….yes they are wild and you have to be careful around them but they arealso so full of fun and adventure.  One of the young ones grabbed my leg touse as poles to swivel on, like he would a tree, his grip was very gently.Another did the same to members of our group, their grips were notas gentle but did not hurt.  A  teenage male charged at us, the guidequickly came between him and us….one came and sat within 6inches of me….I very slowly and quietly made some distance between us!  Andthe babies…..OMG they are adorable!  What an experience to just be with themwhile they lunched and posed….”I’m ready!”.We visited the Genocide Museum in Kigali.  Our driver guide had been 10years old during the time of the genocide and told us, because we asked him, what it had been like for him, his family and the country.  It was a greatpreamble to visiting the museum. What incredible work the people have doneto create healing! And what a shock when just two weeks after we left therewas a terrorist attack in Kinigi by Hutus that had been in the DRC, so sad.And Namibia….what an incredible country.  The country is so diverse andsoooooooo very beautiful!!!  The landscape is stunning and breathtaking. With every corner that we took there was another fantastically beautifulvista.  But it's certainly not just the landscape, it's the people…therecertainly is a strength within them that is very visible as they have tosurvive the harsh environment that they live in, but there is a gentlenessthat permeates and projects a beauty that is like a glorious aura thatsurrounds everything.  And the animals…each so majestic …how wonderful to beable to experience them in their natural habitat! We ran down the dunes; we climbed big daddy (or the second big daddy….maybeit was big mama!!! LOL) whichever one it was it felt as if we were going tobe blown off by the huge gusts of wind; we sat with the 600 year old treesin the Sossusvlei; we dined by the ocean at the Skeleton Coast at our ownprivate table with no one around for miles and miles (except lions and sealsand jackels): we had breakfast on the top of a mountain in Damaralandwatching the sun rise; we breakfasted in the wilds of the Masi Mara; we hadsundowners in the desert watching the African sunsets; we watched cheetahslaze in the African sun; we watched prides of Lion’s lunch on their kills;we watched the rhinos tiptoe through the brush; we met the Himba people; wemet the Masi people; we experienced the most wonderful of Africanhospitality and met some of the kindest most generous people we have evermet. Our guides were knowledgable, kind, and professional.  We felt safe andtaken care of at each turn of our trip, we enjoyed them all and learned somuch from them. One guide in particular from the company…he’s theguide/driver that the company sent to take us from Ongave to Damaraland, sowe could stop at the Himba Village….is just a doll…..he asked the company if he could meet us at Sossusvlei and be our guide there….what anunbelievable surprise it was to get off the plane and have him waiting therefor us!!  He’s a remarkable young man, a very knowledgeable guide and awonderful human being…...we were more than thrilled to be able to spend thattime with him!I especially want to thank you for being so patient and professional withus.  I loved it when you said to my group member on the phone when we were inNamibia…."it is Africa…”  that said it all and at that point she understoodfully.  You know as we were wrapping up our final thingsbefore we left was saying, “I wish we weren't going.”  She was frightened...of Africa…. of the people; of the tensions in the different countries; ofthe animals and where we would be staying; of the unknown …..in fact we weresitting on the plane as we left and she said it again... she was goingbecause the trip to see the gorillas was to celebrate my 70th.  When we leftto come home she was in tears not wanting to leave and has since said withtears in her eyes….”I want to go back to Kenya”.  Doesn’t that just say itall!!!  Africa gets under your skin….it’s the heart beat of the country andI just love it.  Thank you for bringing such joy into our lives!!!And thank you for the gift that was awaiting us when we got home.  We hadseen the book when we were in Hoanib but of course if we had all bought itthey wouldn’t have let us on the planes!!! So what an incredible surprise!!!And we all love it!!!  Just want to say that each of us would easily travelwith each of the guides that we had and would highly recommend you to anyonethat would like to travel to Africa!!With my most deepest gratitude, thank you!!!There was just so much and it was a life altering trip for me onso many levels.  My group member has covered most everything - but the two of us couldgo on for days.  That said, when we were in Rwanda, one of the cards at ourbedside table had an African saying on it: God is everywhere in the worldbut at night, he rests his head in Rwanda.  I changed that saying to thosewe have spoken to about our trip - God is everywhere in the world but atnight, he rests his head in Africa - because with every sunset and sunrisein Africa, you get a glimpse of heaven.Thank you for everything.

My wife has always had the dream to safari in Africa.  I have always planned our vacations and had never previously felt I needed the help to make those adventures come to life.  When I started down the road of planning such an important life experience, I quickly discovered that managing and planning such a trip is a daunting process. Finding the right locations for us, identifying the experiences that would last a lifetime, and logistically structuring the itinerary all became key pieces of a puzzle I felt incapable of putting together without some help.  I reached out to two agencies originally to start the planning process.  Very quickly I focused on working exclusively with this travel company and our agent.  She listened, was creative, and almost intuitively knew what would bring this mosaic to life for us.  Our travel agent was patient as I moved pieces and parts of the itinerary, always reassuring that her focus was on our experience, and responsive to every question or concern.  We confirmed the itinerary and my wife and I prepared for our journey.  The agent provided great information and detail to guide our preparations and insure we could confidently step off into our adventure.  It is one thing to plan, it is another to execute.  The execution was flawless.  The support system to transfer between each location, through multiple countries, and maximize each experience was second to none.  Our agent's planning and hard work allowed me to have an easy mind.  The amenities were spectacular, the experiences better than I could have imagined, and the dream of a lifetime for my wife came true.  I want to focus this review on this travel company and our agent.  While I have wonderful things to say about each place we went and will write reviews sharing those thoughts,  it is important to highlight the person who put all those moving parts together to function in perfect harmony.  We decided that another trip to Africa is in our future.  This travel company and this agent will be our resource again to plan that trip.  I can't imagine using anyone else.

Our trip was wonderful, basically everything we had hoped for. We were looking for great scenery in Namibia and lots of animals in Botswana, and our time in each country surpassed our expectations. The lodges were very professional, the guides were outstanding.  This particular trip we were looking to have everything completely taken care of. Personnel met us at each airport, basically we were shepherded through the entire two weeks, and that was what we were looking for.

We just returned from an amazing trip in Africa. This travel team did an amazing job setting up our tour, and everything worked out perfectly. The first 6 days of the trip were in Cape Town and Hermanus, and the guide they set us up with was fantastic. If you are going to Cape Town, definitely ask that this travel team set you up with him.  We had a wine tasting up on Table Mountain, we tryed Paragliding off of Signal Hill, the hotel at the water front in Cape Town was perfect as well. Hermanus for whale watching was nice, but I recommend that you stay a few extra nights at the Water Front and do that as a day trip.  We were supposed to do a Shark Cage Dive, but the weather didn't cooperate for that, so that is the main reason we stayed in Hermanus. Next we went to Ulusaba Lodge at a private game reserve by Kruger National Park. That was a 5 star amazing experience. It is owned by Richard Branson, and we loved every minute of it. Next we went to Zimbabwe to Elephant Camp in luxury tents, which were more like little houses with amazing views. We visited Victoria Falls as well. The staff there were also fabulous. The last part of our trip was on the Chobe Princess riverboat on the Chobe River in Namibia. Initially, it was a hassle with going through multiple immigrations on our drive to the get on the boat through Zimbabwe, Botswana, then Namibia, but in the end, it was all worth it. Seeing the wildlife by boat was a different perspective and an amazing experience. They would do multiple game drives via a smaller boat that was a tender for the riverboat.  We were able to bring it right up to shore an get close to Elephants, crocodiles, hippos, giraffe, and baboons. Overall, this travel team planned out a perfect trip for us. We got to see all of the "Big 5" plus almost every other animal you can imagine. All of our guides and staff were a pleasure to work with, the food was amazing. The only thing I wish is that it wasn't such a long journey to get there from the US. But it is a small price to pay for the travel time to make a memory like that! Thank you Zicasso for once again setting us up with a great Travel Agency to work with.

Our first trip to Africa and we were so pleased with all the support and direction and planning done together with our agent.  We never felt unsure or lost or were left wondering our next step.  We had dedicated guides that enabled us to flex our time and schedule depending on changing circumstances and weather.  Our accomodations were all we could hope for and more.  Our agent was promptly responsive with questions and helpful when Air France canceled our flight.  It was tremendously helpful to have such a knowledgeable company and agent on our team for travel.
