Tara from the travel agency planned the perfect trip for me and my sister. We had limited time, but she fitted in everything we wanted to do and see. She went above and beyond to create such an amazing time for us.
I had mentioned that it was my sister's birthday and asked for a recommendation for a place to eat in Cape Town. Not only did she recommend and make a reservation at a fantastic restaurant, she also provided birthday surprises while we were on our safari.
The safari camp was amazing. I didn’t want to leave. The staff were amazing and the game drives were thrilling. We enjoyed our time in South Africa so much that we plan to return and we will definitely have Tara help plan our trip.

We chose this travel company to help plan our dream honeymoon in South Africa and we are so glad we did. Neil and the team planned and booked everything, taking into account our interests and ensuring every day would be special and memorable. They were super-responsive and made sure we were well taken care of.
Our on-the-ground guide was phenomenal, full of information, and stories, and ensured we got everywhere safely. She was a delight to be around and truly made our trip even more special. All of the accommodations the travel company booked for us were exceptional and our experience at the safari lodge was one of the best of our lives, thanks to Neil's guidance.
Neil also went above and beyond to help us get reservations at very popular and exclusive restaurants, knowing that food is a big part of what we love to discover while traveling. We would highly recommend using this company for a trip you will never forget.

The trip was great. We got to see everything we wanted to see, including the big five and the migration of large herds of wildebeests and zebras.
The travel company was extremely helpful. The pre-trip prep was very thorough, but the true test came when I lost my cell phone in Mara towards the end and then our return flight was unexpectedly canceled. So I was stranded in Nairobi with my 12-year-old, having almost no means of communication with the rest of the world, and the rebooked flight was not until five days later.
The travel agency worked with local providers and put together a three-day side trip for us to go to Lake Nakuru to see rhinos, rebooked our local transportation, and made sure a local agent would be at the airport to help us when we departed — and they made all the arrangements within a day. They helped make a really stressful situation a lot easier to deal with.

This trip resulted in the most extraordinary two weeks of my life. Everything, and I mean everything, was absolutely perfect. I had a vision of what I wanted this trip to be and worked with Sherilyn at the travel company to bring that to life. She provided sound advice and created an itinerary that was spot-on.
Throughout the year of planning, Sherilyn was extremely responsive to any questions or concerns I had. I was provided with a very detailed trip itinerary, along with everything I needed to know about traveling to Africa. No stone was left unturned and we were very well-prepared due to all the information provided.
The trip itinerary covered Southern Africa and East Africa. We pulled out all the stops and included as many activities as time would allow. From a helicopter ride over Victoria Falls to a rhino walking safari in Zambia to a hot-air balloon ride over the Maasai Mara in Kenya — none of the activities disappointed.
Every one of the guides we had was excellent. The service we received at the airports, both inbound and outbound, was exceptional. All of the accommodations, including hotels and camps, were amazing and we would definitely stay at any of them again.
This was truly a trip of a lifetime and I don't believe it will ever be outdone. Thank you, Zicasso, for connecting me with this travel company.

Our party of six had an absolutely incredible experience with the travel agency. From start to finish, Charles and Sarah demonstrated exceptional expertise and knowledge of Southern Africa (including customs and practices), and had an obvious dedication to making the trip unforgettable. Their knowledge of locales and locations, wildlife, transportation, and the best safari camps was impressive. They listened to our preferences and crafted an itinerary that was perfectly matched with what we wanted from our 2 weeks in Africa.
We saw four of the big five and countless other species in natural habitats, all thanks to the very knowledgeable guides we were matched with. Daily, we were literally a few dozen feet from elephants, giraffes, antelope, lions, leopards, warthogs, buffalo, wild dogs, and cheetahs. The camp tents were exemplary, offering luxury and immersion in the wild. We felt safe, supervised, and pampered throughout the journey. The attention to detail, from transportation to guided game drives, was simply outstanding.
Finally, their communication was flawless. They promptly answered our (many and sometimes silly) questions and ensured we were well-prepared for the trip. They also helped make special arrangements for a birthday dinner. During the trip, they regularly stayed in touch. When our return flight was canceled last minute, Sarah made sure we had accommodations in Johannesburg and London while our airline re-routed us.
We can't recommend this travel company enough. Thanks to their expertise and knowledge of Africa, our safari was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that wildly exceeded all expectations.

Our trip to Southern Africa (Botswana and Zimbabwe) was nothing short of amazing! Our travel consultant created a great itinerary and took care of every detail associated with small-craft flights, greetings at airports, etc. The coordination was seamless!
We highly recommend staying at the camps within the reserves as this provides a different experience to the national parks. We felt like we were the only ones there. We were deeply touched by the love and warmth of the resort staff, who go out of their way to welcome you and assist with any needs you may have. Our guide was brilliant, his knowledge, experience, and patience incredible!
This was our second trip through Zicasso and we highly recommend the company for its interest in helping to make our trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Garrick and the travel agency made our trip truly unforgettable! From initial planning through the trip itself, Garrick ensured that we got the exact experience we wanted, and more! The insight into activities, restaurants and options helped guide our decisions; since we had never been to South Africa before. Garrick took all of our requests and put together an amazing 2 week itinerary; even adding last minute activities like golf and dinner reservations! Our trip was even more enjoyable because we were able to be in contact with Garrick for questions etc. Even better, we were able to meet up Garrick in person during our trip for a round of golf; an experience we will never forget! We would absolutely recommend Garrick and the travel company to anyone looking to book an unforgettable trip to Southern Africa! We also LOVE that they focus on companies and operators that share their commitement to conservation and giving back to communities and the environment.

Andre did a great job of organizing our trip. He listened to our needs and adjusted the itinerary to accommodate our desire to be more inland/forest-oriented than beach-oriented. All the guides were excellent, as were the hotel accommodations. The guides were always on time and clear about expectations.
We didn't know what to expect in Madagascar. We were surprised by the abject poverty and the general backwardness of the culture, which has been exacerbated by corrupt leadership and the legacy of foreign colonization (in this case, France) that siphoned out the resources and left the people mired in their impoverished state. Our trip started in Uganda, which is considered a third-world country, but compared to Madagascar, it seems like a fully developed place.
We probably enjoyed the camp near Ifotaka the most due to the accommodations, the daily walks in lemur country, the food (the chef was amazing), and the staff, who were very cordial and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in Andasibe, but did not see nearly as much wildlife as we had hoped. The hotel in Tana was a unique and wonderful experience, and the other hotel in Tana was also very nice.
One point that should be made to anyone traveling to Madagascar is that the trip can be grueling if you're trying to see as much of the country as possible in a relatively short period of time and don't want to just hang out at the beach. The flights within the country are on prop planes and some of the road journeys, like the three-hour drive from Fort Dauphin to the river country or the five-hour drive from Tana to Andasibe can be very long and on treacherous, hole-filled roads that would be considered impassable in the US. These journeys can be exhausting.
