Turkey Travel Guide

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The hotels were exactly as described, the guides, overall, were very good (a couple were exceptional and only one was rather disappointing), and all the travel arrangements worked seamlessly. Throughout our time in Turkey, the Turkish affiliate checked in on us on a very regular basis and was available on a couple of occasions when we had questions.

Zicasso's travel agencies and guides were excellent. It was a well-planned itinerary. Special mention to the guides in Tunisia and in Turkey.

My wife, Beth, and I recently returned home after a thoroughly rewarding two-week visit to Turkey, during which we followed an itinerary prepared for us by Zicasso's travel designer.

My wife and I are seasoned, independent travelers, so only on rare occasions do we enlist the guidance of professionals. Concerns about the language barrier led us to speak with the folks at Zicasso, who, in turn, cited our travel designer as one of their premier Turkey specialists. He designed a personalized touring plan that took into account our travel experience, as well as our desire for free days throughout our stay. His lodging recommendations in Istanbul, Şirince, and Bodrum were all top-notch, as were the guides who led us across Istanbul and the ancient cities of Ephesus, Aphrodisias, and Pamukkale.

We also benefitted from the reliable and gracious assistance of our travel designer's associate, who was never more than a WhatsApp message away whenever we needed help for matters small or large.

Beth and I have already discussed a return trip to Turkey next year; suffice to say we will again reach out to him to help with the planning.

Our trip to Turkey, arranged through Zicasso's tour company, was perfect. Our travel designer and her team responded to all communications promptly and trip documents were delivered expeditiously.

A big call-out to our wonderful guide. Not only was he knowledgeable, but extremely conscientious. It was like traveling with a family member who's a local. He was most accommodating to our travel style. My art and history emphasis and my husband's recent hip replacement were handled beautifully.

The hotels selected were a perfect fit as well.

Due to an oversight on my part, our itinerary had to be adjusted just a few weeks out, which was handled brilliantly by the travel company. Losing one day in Istanbul was regrettable.

We will not hesitate to use Zicasso in the future and have recommended it to friends.
