Brazil Honeymoon Packages

to Rio for a couple of days and saw the sites, and was there for New Year's eve.  Then, we flew to Iguazu Falls and viewed the falls from the Brazil side and then the next day from the Argentinian side.  Then, we flew to Manaus and drove to the Amazon where we spent a couple of days.  While we had a great trip to Brazil, I would say that the only downside was that our travel agent didn't plan enough for the time that we had alotted with the tour guide for the days that we were with him.  Our tour guide was amazing, but our travel agent only planned 2 things for an 8 hour period on our first day.  Then, on the second day, we had a 6 hour tour and only one thing was planned.  We ended up revising our schedule on the fly, and it all worked out thanks to our tour guide. However, we were disappointed in the lack of time management for our two days in Rio. We didn't know in advance that these things weren't going to take as much time as the travel agent allowed as we just went with her recommendation. 

South America. He was wonderful. All his recommendations were top notch. He really listened to us and our preferences, and was incredibly patient as we worked to create the perfect itinerary for our trip. When we had a few travel hiccups he was available to help, and made sure to have some special celebratory surprises along the way. We would highly recommending working with him and this travel team, and would use them again in the future!  

travel company surpassed our expectations - everything went so smooth - our travel planner had it all organized - even though one flight was cancelled 2 days before and we had to have some fast trip changes - she did it quickly and took the stress off of us.  From a local tour company, our guide was wonderful!!!She took great care of us.  I have knee issues and she made sure I didnt miss anything because of them. She is sure good at spotting the wildlife.  Our drivers were always on time - even for our 3:30 am flight home.  Thanks!  Would certainly recommend this planner and guide - we have traveled a lot and they were at the top of the scale.

travel company arranged transfers to and from airports within Brasil and reservations at an all-inclusive beach resort hotel.  They were easy to work with.  Only problem -- I had booked by flights to and from Sao Paulo to Salvador and forwarded the itineraries to this company who then arranged airport transfers.  Apparently, I had erroneously booked a return flight from Salvador to Sao Paulo for 3:00, which turned out to be 3 am and not 3 pm. When the the company -arranged pick up, who was wonderful, brought us to airport at 3 pm, we had no flight.  He used his skills and Portuguese to help us book a 3:25 pm flight from Sal valor to Sao Paulo at an additional cost of $200.I think this company should have picked up the 3 am vs 3 pm (15:00 in Brasil time) from the airline itinerary I had forwarded to them.  They didn't/

to our interests.  She couldn't have been more responsive even when we requested some last minute additions to our journey.Despite a few hiccups when meeting guides or having to change plans due to a Sunday restaurant closing, all went so well.  The itineraries took us to sites and experiences that we found interesting and gave us an excellent taste of Brazil.Brava, travel planner!

my ideas and made them work 

much the exact same trip with daughter a year ago, just in a different order of destinations within Brazil.  Everything was as expected.  Except for the guide in Sao Paulo.  Driving was a suspect.  Not too crazy or anything, but enough I was always paying attention.  Plus, the half day tour we did was quite boring, because all he seem to want to do is drive around and tell us about the 60+ neighborhood of Sao Paulo, commenting every time we crossed a certain road and entered into a new neighborhood.  Talk, talk, talk.  Just wasn't very conducive to a 10 year old boy.  Hence, we asked the driver to end the tour an hour and half early, because my son was falling asleep. The hotel in Sao Paulo is really nice. All hotels were good and as expected. 

We began the process of planning this trip 2 years ago. The travel designer has been excellent and patient from beginning to end. The itinerary he came up with and suggestions he made were great- glad we took the bus trip from Mendoza to Chile via the Andes! He checked in on us every step of the way and dealt with issues we had with our hotel reservations in Chile in a very quick manner when we made him aware of them.

Calafate were not true 5 star hotels and we noticed there were better hotels in each city. The automobiles in several cases were too small. Both of us drive large S class Mercedes and the cars could not even fit our luggage in some cases. We will demand first class cars in addition to better hotels in the future. For the most part the tour guides were well informed and interesting. The tour guide/driver in El Calafate was exceptional. The Argentina local airline premium economy class las kike business class in other countries and we were happy with that even though we always fly first class everywhere. We were not happy with the change of personnel at this travel company at the last moment. A travel specialist was fine but we had not worked with her in making our travel arrangements. Richard and I were very ill due to a badly cooked dinner on the boat in Ushuaia and the specialist was very helpful in getting a doctor at the hotel in Iguazu Falls for Richard.The helicopter flight in Ushuaia was cancelled by the company due to inclement weather and we would like a refund for that ASAP.The travel company is 4 1/2 stars.

itinerary, quite timely and responsive with emails.The trip was very comfortable.  Our driver picked us up at the airport and was truly accessible throughout our trip to Argentina, from checking in daily, to calling if a driver was late, to making reservations for us in Iguazu as the hotel desk there wasn't too helpful.  Our driver was really fantastic.  This travel company quoted much lower costs than the other travel company matched to us.  I did have to request a second quote from Zicasso.  You guys didn't automatically offer that as your website said that you would.  And the second quote was almost half the cost for same itinerary!
