Rome – Arrive in Rome and Delight in a Luxurious Multi-Course Dinner

Rome has held a place at the center of the fashion world since the empire stood at the heart of Western Europe. The city continued to draw fashion aficionados and historians from around the world eager to use the rich past and preserved architecture to inspire their fashion-forward designs. Your flight will land at Rome Fiumicino Airport, where your private transfer will greet you upon arrival before venturing into the city to relax in the comforts of where was once the epicenter of the Western World. Hydrangeas blossom in the gardens of the hotel amongst vibrant roses while the aroma of citrus zest emanates from the orange trees on the property.

The remainder of the day will be yours to explore the beauty of Rome’s history at your leisure, making your way to Piazza Navona to view the marvelous Baroque palaces that frame the cobblestone piazza. Artists set out easels and sit on the stone benches to capture the colorful facades in the passing sunlight while the sound of trickling water emanates from the gorgeous Fountain of the Four Rivers, designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini in the mid-17th century. Allegorical figures represent the main waterways of four continents, including the Nile, Danube, Ganges, and Rio de la Plata. In the evening, you can venture to a restaurant with three Michelin stars that is known for elegance, comfort, and the delicate flavors showcased on the menu.

Italy Trip Review: Local Cuisine, Scenery, Guides, 10 Nights

We did a lot of research on tour groups and travel companies, and are so pleased we chose Zicasso and their specialized Italy team. They organized every detail of transportation, first-class hotels, and cut-the-line attraction visits with extremely knowledgeable local guides.

We ran into some minor interruptions due to protests and our team quickly navigated around them with their in-country specialists. We felt we saw the best of each location, with additional free time to explore other local things like food, shopping, etc. These folks know their stuff and we will look to use them in the future.

I want to take a moment to express my sincere thanks to Zicasso's travel company and each and every tour guide they provided. I had the most amazing time of my life. My group received the best care and attention to detail; we never had to worry or wonder what to do or how we would get there. I cannot express my gratitude to all. There is no other way to travel. This tour was worth every penny I spent. Thanks to our guides and drivers for their knowledge and enthusiasm, and to all those who made this a remarkable journey. I'll never forget this trip as long as I live.
