Detailed Description

The best of Austria comes together like an orchestral rendition of Mozart. Your journeys will be sublime and will lead you through stunning mountain landscapes. This 13-day Austria tour ties all the county’s pieces together.

Three iconic cities make the country come alive. The capital city of Vienna showcases past glories, the Habsburg Empire’s old capital as grand as it always has been. Salzburg is home to the Sound of Music and the birthplace of Mozart, which is a delightful city tucked below the mountains. You will finish this luxury tour in Innsbruck, which is an old city that is high in the alpine landscape and great for combining city sites with outdoor pleasures. These three destinations are Central European standouts that are very different from each other. You will stay in boutique hotels within pedestrianized centers and have private guides that can adjust the pace of your tours to your interests.

The rest of your time what will be about what Austria offers along the way. You will take the Romantic Road from Vienna to Melk Abbey and Durnstein before finally transferring to Linz, which is a beautiful example of the country’s past and future. From here, you will spend a day in Bad Ischl, which is a famous spa town. You reach Salzburg on the morning of day six and have two days to explore. Then, you can take the high roads through the Alps, stopping in Lienz before taking your time on the stunning Grossglockner Road. Germany, Austria, Switzerland Tour Review: 10 Nights

We couldn't have been happier with our experience with the tour operator. Zicasso’s travel specialist planned a trip beyond our dreams. The details and thought put into our itinerary were second to none. We would have never been able to do this on our own and we wouldn't have had this level of service with the travel company. Thank you for connecting us with them.

Czechia, Austria, Hungary Vacation Review: Budapest, Walking Food Tour, 10 Nights

Zicasso’s travel agent worked with me for many months, as I made a lot of changes. She was patient and, in the end, gave us the perfect trip. The trip was great. All but one of our tours was stellar. One was a bit redundant. We learned a lot, saw a lot, and all our guides and drivers showed up on time.

Austria, Germany Trip Review: Oktoberfest, Neuschwanstein Castle, Dachau, Salzburg, Munich, 1 Week

This is the second trip that I have booked through Zicasso. This trip included everything that I asked for.

Our time at Oktoberfest was definitely a highlight and an unforgettable experience! We were paired with guides for Neuschwanstein Castle and Dachau, who were knowledgeable and helped us better understand the German culture, as well as historical context. I loved just walking the streets in Salzburg; it is a gorgeous city!

The tour operator, overall, was responsive to my questions and requests; I was very happy with them. I would recommend this tour operator to anyone planning to travel to Germany and plan to use Zicasso for my next family vacation.
