Detailed Description

The pride of Ireland is drawn from the depths of heritage, with ancient ruins dating back to the Neolithic and Bronze eras. Churches and stone crosses reflect 6th-century settlements and pubs are regarded as community centers in which adults can sing, dance, and drink in the pleasure of friendly company. Your 8-day Ireland tour leads you from Dublin to Galway and back again in search of the sounds, landscape, and sites embodying the stunning heritage of the Emerald Isle. The adventure begins with your arrival in Dublin where your private transfer greets you and escorts you to a stunning hotel in the heart of the capital city.

The captivating tales and excursion start with a private tour, taking you to Trinity College Library, the Jameson Distillery, and the Guinness Storehouse. In the evening, you take in the traditional music at a historic pub. Learn the art of cutting crystal with refined images of Irish folklore at the Connemara Celtic Crystal Heritage Center. Traverse the narrow medieval streets of Galway to discover Spanish and English architectural elements telling stories of the city’s unique past. Explore the region of Connemara to learn about crafting instruments and find elegant palaces along the way. The landscape has inspired countless stories from the unique contours of the cliffs and hills, symbolized in the stunning scenery of The Burren, Cliffs of Moher, and Doolin Cave.

Enjoy an immersive medieval experience at Bunratty Folk Park, which strives to bring the 13th century to life within the shadow of the dramatic castle. Travel the Ring of Kerry to visit charming villages and sensational coastline. Delight in a pub crawl through Killarney and explore the city of Kilkenny through its history, brewery, and traditional music trail. The stories of Ireland soon become your own as you wander through an ancient tomb at Browne’s Hill and the ruins of a 6th-century Early Christian settlement at Glendalough. See a waterfall at Powerscourt Estate and indulge in the music of Dublin on your final night in Ireland at a welcoming Irish pub.

Ireland Travel Review: Scenery, Architecture, History, Aran...

Zicasso's travel planners were great to work with, giving us great flexibility in tailoring our tour exactly the way we wanted it. They offered us good options for the activities we were interested in (sheep farm, falconry experience), fitting them within our schedule.

The schedule worked very well for us, striking the right balance between checking all the places we wanted to see and activities we wanted to experience, and giving us just the right amount of relaxation time in between. We brought back wonderful memories from our trip!

Ireland Tour Review: Bru Na Boinne Burial Grounds, Rock...

We had a great trip to Ireland! I appreciated how Zicasso's travel company helped plan the trip, listening to where I thought we wanted to go and making suggestions to create the trip plan. All of the guides and drivers did well and we enjoyed getting to know them.

Even though the weather did not cooperate for several days, we enjoyed seeing other sights. We also enjoyed all of the hotels we stayed at. Overall, the travel company did an excellent job and we would use them again!

Ireland Vacation Review: Dublin, Rock of Cashel, Blarney...

This Ireland trip was absolutely incredible. Our family of 13 ranged from three to 70 years old and we loved it so much. Working with Zicasso’s travel agent was so easy. During the planning stage, she accommodated my calls and emails, executing perfectly on a flawless itinerary.

We loved starting out in Dublin and then traveling to the stunning Irish countryside by way of private driver. We saw so much, from the Rock of Cashel to the Blarney Stone, the English market in Cork, and the café in Cork, which was a highlight for us!

Our absolute favorite accommodation was our lodge in County Kerry, which was a stunning property that took our experience to the next level.

The Gap of Dunloe and Cliffs of Moher were two of our favorite tours.

The travel company handled all the logistics with precision! Every transfer, tour, and activity was meticulously planned, allowing my family and me to fully immerse without worry. And our guide/driver, well, he was the absolute best. He became the 14th family member by the end of our eight-day road trip together!
