Costa Rica for Second Timers

Your instructor tells you to stay perpendicular to the whitewater, and you paddle to catch a small wave, pop up, keeping your knees bent, and feel your heart pounding as the water splashes around you.

At breakfast, you take your time enjoying the gentle breeze and fresh orange juice. An active flock of parakeets glides over the canopy of the mangroves below.
