The tour guides were fantastic and especially helpful. Greece is a little tough for those with limited mobility, so that is one thing to ask anyone traveling to Greece or anywhere that has many steep steps. Luckily, we are still very mobile, but I would caution other travelers who may need extra help.

Greece was beautiful and all the hotels were great, and loved that our specialist had all of our transportation taken care of. Very friendly people in Greece, and food was spectacular. We had a great time. All the guides and drivers were on time every time we were to be met or picked up. Our two guides were with us for two days and four days, respectively. They both went above and beyond. Anytime we mentioned something, they were there for us or arranged it happening. This included caring for one in our group having digestive problems.

The only thing we would change is the e-bike wine tasting tour in Franschhoek. The bike route was very rough and therefore dangerous. The guides accommodated our request to revise the itinerary and take us on a better route with less biking time. They also arranged for a van to pick us up at the end of the wine tasting.

Above all, when travel logistics changed in real time due to delayed trains and volcanic activity from Mt. Etna, the team mobilized and took action at all hours. Our travel company planned what can only be described as the adventure of a lifetime for us.

This trip was especially meaningful because we were celebrating our 10-year wedding anniversary, and from beginning to end, everything felt incredibly well thought out. We started in the Seychelles, where we had a few days to unwind before heading to Tanzania for an unforgettable safari through Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the Northern Serengeti.

The safari was beyond anything we could have imagined. We saw elephants, lions, zebras, cheetahs, and both white and black rhinos, along with so much other incredible wildlife. Every location felt different, every camp was special in its own way, and the entire experience flowed seamlessly from one place to the next.

We finished our trip in Zanzibar, first exploring Stone Town and then spending our final days on the beautiful white-sand beaches. One of our favorite surprises came at the very end, when the team arranged an anniversary dinner for us through our hotel. After such an incredible journey, it was such a thoughtful and meaningful way to celebrate our anniversary and finish the trip.

A special thank you to Zicasso's travel specialist, who worked closely with us to make sure the trip was exactly what we wanted. She even checked in with us while we were on safari to make sure everything was going well, which says a lot about the level of care they put into their trips. The transportation and the guides were all very good. The hotels were appropriate for our desires and budget. They provided wonderful sunset cruises in Palermo and Taormina, and they got us restaurant reservations for dinner each night at non-touristy places.

Surprisingly to us since we have been there before, Rome was especially enjoyable. The art in the Borghese Gallery and in the Pope's museum at the Vatican was overwhelming.

My wife and I have traveled extensively, particularly with agents obtained through Zicasso. They have all been good, and this one was one of the best. I can recommend our travel company without reservation.

We can't say enough good things about the trip planned for us in Tuscany and Cinque Terre. We had an amazing time, with only a couple of minor issues. We had one very unfriendly driver and on the sunset cruise, the boat captain brought us back into shore before sunset, so we didn't really have a sunset cruise. Other than that, it was spectacular.

This was a fantastic experience! Shout-out to our wonderful travel specialist for crafting an amazing itinerary. We could only do eight days in Greece and our specialist provided wonderful recommendations. All the ferry rides, excursions, and travel outside of getting to and from Greece were provided.

In addition, the hotel selections were spectacular. Our hotels in Santorini and Mykonos both overlooked the Aegean Sea and the staff was absolutely wonderful. Our specialist was also super attentive to our requests mid-trip, which we were extremely grateful for. My favorite excursion was the catamaran/snorkeling/sunset cruise in the Aegean Sea. An incredible experience.

On the last leg of our trip to Athens we had ferry delays and hit traffic, but once again our specialist coordinated with our private guide at the Acropolis, who patiently waited for us and provided a wonderful tour. The last day in Athens we took a tour to the Temple of Poseidon. It was a longer than expected bus tour that took around six hours. In hindsight, we would probably have not chosen to do that; however, it is hard to complain as we had dinner watching the sunset over the ancient ruins.

We had a wonderful experience and truly appreciate Zicasso's wonderful team for making Greece a trip of a lifetime!

Working with our travel specialist to plan our trip was a pleasure; she shared additional recommendations throughout the process to ensure we finalized an exceptional itinerary that exceeded our wish list. The trip ran flawlessly, even though we visited multiple cities and locations.

Honestly hard to narrow down our favorite location, as each city or activity offered something different. Sydney is certainly very special, as was our Ghan train experience. But if we were to identify one highlight, it was our stay in Freycinet, Tasmania. The resort is spectacular, our villa spacious with incredible views across the bay and the staff amazing; nothing is too much trouble. The food at the resort is exceptional, each course with choices of Tasmanian wine.

We enjoyed all our experiences and activities throughout our trip, although strong winds when we took our helicopter flight out to a cay on the Great Barrier Reef meant we were unable to snorkel.

In summary, very impressed with Australia. Everything is clean, no graffiti (in any city we visited!) and everyone was so helpful and friendly. If we had one aspect we'd change, it would be to have added an additional day in Melbourne; it's a beautiful city with much to explore. Can't speak more highly of the team or our incredible trip.

Our trip to Scotland was superb and rates in the top three of all time (for me anyway). Everything went very smoothly with no hiccups, thanks to the team's adept planning and knowledge of the country. The staff are friendly, responsive, accommodating, and had everything we needed in place by the time we arrived, from the drivers to lodging and dinner reservations to tickets for the places and events we wanted to see.

This was a bespoke trip, not the canned variety you get from others. The drivers were great and are highly recommended if you are uncomfortable driving on the opposite side. The Highland scenery is spectacular and the people are wonderful. I could listen to their accents all day long!

Our travel specialist and his team were superb in every aspect of the trip planning and execution. First, our specialist is exceptionally knowledgeable. He knows Barcelona and the surrounding areas, and was able to make recommendations for the trip that allowed us to really experience the area as fully as possible within the eight days we were there.

Second, he responds quickly to communications, and always provides helpful information or suggestions. He makes it a policy to be available by text, email, or phone when he has clients on his trips. And indeed, since the Pope came to visit during our trip, and we were uncertain how it would affect our plans, we appreciated being able to reach him so easily.

Third, he really listened to our interests and needs, and customized the trip accordingly. We had some special requests and needs, and he incorporated those issues into the trip planning. He communicated with us throughout the planning process to discuss those requests and needs and how they fit into the plan for the trip.

Fourth, our specialist is a very kind and compassionate person. We needed to reschedule our trip at the last minute due to the serious illness of a family member. Our second attempt also led to a rescheduling due to my travel partner's back problems. Our specialist was patient and understanding. Fortunately, we made it to Barcelona on the third try! We are very grateful to him for his kindness throughout the process.

Fifth, the partners our specialist hired to serve as tour guides and so on were all excellent. He also timed things very well, such as on the day when we took trains to travel to Girona and Figueres. Everything proceeded perfectly, without a glitch. I cannot remember another trip that I took in which everything proceeded so perfectly. While things like the weather and lack of issues with the airlines were not under our specialist's control, everything that was under his control was also perfect. Thank you!

We loved the hotel at Capo Vaticano! Beautiful view, dinner menu changed every night, violin player on the lawn. Incredible. Hotel in Lecce was very nice. Large rooms, terrace bar was pricey and lots of good restaurants nearby.

Our stay at the resort was our least favorite. The public areas were lovely; however, the deluxe rooms were very small and the dinner menu never changed and the dinner meals were not that great. The staff were all very helpful. This resort needs a remodel and redo of furniture and decor.

There was only one glitch and that was a bad view of our room in Santorini, but we were able to switch to another the next night. Our agent was extremely responsive to our needs.

The accommodations in Dubrovnik and Split were lovely… Hvar was fine, great views and breakfast, but the hotel was not quite as nice (but we booked late and there weren’t many options).

Your guides in Dubrovnik and Split were fantastic… the boat and captain in Hvar were the trip highlight!

Only suggestions for improvement would be too much time scheduled for day trips to Ston (really only takes less than an hour to walk around and see the sights) and the Krka park walk to see the waterfalls is easily accomplished in an hour… also suggest you have travelers eat in Skradin as the park food is very limited and there is nothing to eat at the Lozovac entrance.

They have a great team taking care of all your needs throughout the entire trip! Super-helpful and extremely professional! I would never have been able to have this trip without Zicasso's travel specialists!

Portugal and Spain were very well put together and assembled. Zicasso's travel company handled that part and handled it quite well. However, they partnered with a French company for the Paris portion and that experience was less satisfactory. Everything in Paris seemed quite pedestrian, whereas Portugal and Spain were first class.

Our only other impediment to a shining recommendation was the cost. They would not provide an itemized listing of costs, citing standard industry procedure. They said they only got paid a 10% commission, but when we assembled the costs of all the items they arranged, we had a hard time getting anywhere close to the total amount they charged. Not being willing to itemize their expenditures seemed like they were hiding being paid more than the 10% they claimed. Back of the napkin, we were getting something closer to 40-50%.

Overall, however, the trip was fantastic and but for the fee disclosure, our travel specialist was very helpful, available, and forthcoming.

Excellent communication. Seamless connections and tours. Great location choices, with very good activities planned, yet not overly busy. Good recommendations for free days. Fair to superior tour guides. Great ability to make adjustments, especially when our plane left without us and we were a day late. They handled everything flawlessly.

We had a great time, everything ran smoothly, only one driver was delayed for picking us up, but everyone else was on time.

The only issues:

The family cooking class: we only really made bread, which was fun, but we expected to help more in the cooking process.

The hotel has a beautiful view, but they have terrible signage on where you are versus where you would like to go. Got lost several time, as did other guests. Not sure how much more the hotel just outside of the castle wall would have cost, but it is a much better location for the city. Plus the information from checking in was very vague, so we wandered around the floors more than we should have. They also failed to mention that the shopping district was best accessed via the promenade versus city streets and huge stairs. But beautiful view.

Everything else was great, timely, and as expected.

My group of eight (four couples, all friends) had a great trip of a lifetime in Portugal! The travel company was absolutely amazing! From start to finish their very quick communication and attention to all the details was perfect.
