It was an unforgettable trip to Greece. My late husband Mark and I had been to Greece two or three times, but not to the areas I had seen. After researching tours, I didn’t feel they were exactly what I wanted. Zicasso came on my computer screen and it was exactly what I wanted. Zicasso’s travel specialist was perfect in accommodating what I wanted to see and do, including arranging my timeline to see one of my best friends, who has lived in Greece for nearly half a year.

Our trip to Germany was fantastic. Zicasso’s travel company was wonderful, organizing a very customized trip. They were very organized, making the experience seamless.

Croatia was my bucket-list trip. Zicasso’s travel specialist listened to all of the things that I wanted to do in Croatia and she exceeded my expectations.

Our travel specialist put together a bucket-list trip for us. The itinerary was perfect and the accommodations were unique and first-rate. We never would have found them on our own. We are an active group and they kept us busy with unique hikes and tours. We especially enjoyed the Six Senses Tour with our guide in Quito. We loved the attention to detail, including the airport pickups and drop-offs. We wouldn't have made it out of Quito to the Galápagos without their help. This is the fifth time we have used Zicasso for a major trip and we have never been disappointed.

We booked Zicasso’s travel company for a 10-day trip to Portugal, and our travel specialist and the team did an exceptional job. We were traveling with a nine- and six-year-old, and the itinerary was very kid-friendly. Our children loved the activities they put together. The service was impeccable, the hotels were all top-notch, and transportation was smooth throughout. Any time we had questions during the trip, our travel specialist was extremely responsive. We would definitely use their services again, given the five-star service the travel company provided.

The trip was well planned! Thanks to Zicasso’s travel specialist for a great way to experience Greece. I didn't have to worry about anything; we just showed up and everything was set up. There were a few things we wanted to change in the middle of the trip and she was able to arrange them without any hassle at all.

We had a beautiful week in Sorrento, with days in Pompeii, Capri, and the Amalfi Coast. Zicasso’s travel specialist planned the trip exactly as we discussed and we loved every minute!

The one thing that was a bit challenging was that all of our excursions were booked under my middle name, which I do not use, and we had to explain several times to the trip operators.

The hotel was lovely, our room was perfect, and the pool was excellent. Unfortunately, there was a very long ramp required to walk up and down every time we left the hotel, and even though all of the rest of the hotel was excellent, we would have preferred a little less of a distance from the lobby to the street. These items were not at all a big deal, but we are learning what sorts of things to be sure to discuss when planning the next trip.

The travel company was very responsive throughout the trip and communicated with us regularly, which we appreciated!! Overall, I highly recommend this trip and can't wait for the next one!

Our day-trip boat ride around Capri was beyond perfect. The boat captain and guide were very professional and truly charming. He gave us options on how to take in the sights and provided great commentary about the history and culture of the island. We selected to go to Marina Piccola for lunch, which was a great experience. The view from the restaurant was enchanting and the food was delicious. The grottos, Faraglioni rocks, and swimming in the Mediterranean were experiences of a lifetime.

We spent a day driving along the Amalfi Coast. We had a great driver on the mountainous winding roads. We visited charming Positano and beautiful Ravello. Our driver had great advice about where to visit and what to see. We enjoyed an amazing lunch, with a beautiful view, in Ravello.

On day three we enjoyed free time on the beach in the morning. Then we headed out for our limoncello experience! And it was a wonderful experience. The people we met in Schiazzano were very special. We loved the goal of the family businesses to keep and honor their traditions. Our pickup was prompt and we were served a drink at their general store. It is very touching that they began the tour in their church and shared the pride in their community. Then we were off up the hill, along narrow streets to the lemon groves. We learned about farming lemons from two enthusiastic young farmers, we smelled the lemon zest, and they served us fresh lemonade. Then we all got an exciting tuk-tuk ride up and down the very narrow streets to the hilltop farm, where we tasted olive oils, had a cheese-making demonstration, and tasted all the phases of cheese. Then we tasted the limoncello! We really enjoyed the spectacular view. Last, but certainly not least, we enjoyed making our own pizza using tomato sauce that was prepared by grandma that morning using freshly picked tomatoes. We tossed our pizza dough and used fresh mozzarella. The wood-fired oven cooked the pizzas perfectly. We enjoyed eating every bite. When we were planning our trip, I asked for limoncello tasting, but this experience was so much more!

We also had a wonderful time in Pompeii and at the Vatican, Colosseum, and Forum in Rome. All the history is so fascinating. There were many tourists in Pompeii and Rome, and all of our guides were terrific, energetic, and skilled at navigating the crowds.

All of the private transfers, train travel, and hotels were perfect. Thank you for your help and expertise with planning this once-in-a-lifetime trip!

Our family loved our trip to Spain. Zicasso's travel specialist was excellent to work with in planning the trip. He actively listened to what I was looking for, my family's interests, and budget, and helped me to create a truly memorable experience for each of us. Overall, the trip was fabulous. From the start, everything worked like clockwork. The drivers were on time and great. Our connections with trains worked perfectly. I had a concern about the noise level in several of the hotels and that was addressed. Thank you.

The Guides: Our guide in Bologna and Modena was extremely knowledgeable and delightful. We loved spending time with her. Our guide in Verona was knowledgeable and entertaining. Our guide in Ortisei was a good guide for the Dolomites. We enjoyed our hikes and lunches. He also made sure we knew where to secure gondola tickets for the third day. Our guide in Stresa was delightful and extremely knowledgeable. Milan was extremely hot and it was difficult for the four of us to keep up with our guide's commentary on the busy streets.

Hotels: Our hotels in Bologna and Verona were great. We loved the balcony and rooftop bar at our hotel in Bologna. Our hotel in Ortisei was wonderful. The service, room, and amenities were all top-notch. I did not care for the town of Torbole. We hiked to Riva del Garda and that would have been a better location for us. Our hotel in Stresa was beautiful and the pool was fantastic. Our hotel in Milan was nice, but nothing fantastic.

Side Trips: We absolutely loved our trip to Modena, learning about Parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar. We also loved our cooking class. Our host and her mother were fabulous, the lunch was wonderful, and the town of Borghetto was breathtaking.

This was our fourth trip through Zicasso, this time with our travel specialist in Madrid. What an awesome experience for the five of us. This was the first time we returned to Spain with our three adult sons and it was fabulous in all three locations.

Let's first mention our planning process. With the travel specialist's excellent guidance, plus our experiences and new preferences, we collaborated to plan virtually every detail many months in advance, with tweaks along the way. Itinerary Version #7 was the winner! The travel specialist made the planning process easy, with various ideas, options, and constructive pros and cons to optimize our busy and downtimes. Thank you!

It couldn’t have gone smoother and couldn’t have been planned better. And the responsiveness of our personal Zicasso agent was very rapid, even well after dinner time, if we had a question, comment, or concern.

Our experience with Zicasso's travel company putting together our trip to Albania far exceeded our expectations. It was clear from the earliest interactions that they were listening to what we hoped to get from our time there, what types of things appealed to us, and some others that did not. We worked together for several weeks to fine-tune the trip and when we asked about changing part of the itinerary, it was done without any pushback, and we were made to feel it was their pleasure to make the changes.

We did put a fair amount of time into reading about Albania and looking at the things we thought would appeal to us. Had we done no work on our end, it would have been somewhat unfair to complain if the experience was not what we expected.

As far as the hotels, driver, and tour guides go, there is not a single criticism that can be made. The hotels were all four- and five-star accommodations, and lived up to our expectations. Our driver was professional and personable, and a joy to spend time with. We always felt safe and secure when he was driving. The tour guides obviously loved their country and their hometowns, as each one we had in the different cities and towns was born and grew up in that locale. They were treasure troves of knowledge and, like our driver, were so personable and made us feel so welcome in their communities. I have already shared information with friends here at home about how they can avail themselves of the wonderful service we received.

My husband and I had a wonderful trip to Scotland, and the beauty of the country speaks for itself, but it was Zicasso putting us in touch with this travel company that made the trip amazing!

The travel specialist and the team did an outstanding job curating a trip that was perfect for us. We love traveling, but driving in a country that has different "road rules" (specifically driving on the opposite side of the road from what we are used to) was not something my husband or I wanted to undertake.

Our travel specialist matched us up with our driver, which turned out to be a match made in heaven because he was the perfect driver to spend nine days with. From the moment our driver picked us up, I knew we would not be disappointed. We were tired from our flight, but he catered to that and made suggestions that were well thought out (and a good choice for our first day in Scotland).

Throughout the trip, our driver had a keen sense of asking the right questions and then providing possible options (depending on the weather, our mood, etc.) to make our vacation a seamless, "made-to-order" trip! His humor brought the trip to the next level and we were truly sad to say goodbye to our new friend!

It was surreal to finally go to places I always wanted to go and see things I wanted to see. Normandy was amazing with all the WWII jeeps, convoy vehicles, tanks, and C-47s driving/flying around the area leading up to D-Day commemorations. Thirteen days, all without a hitch. Our trip to Scotland was wonderful from start to finish. The scenery was breathtaking, the history and culture were fascinating, and every stop felt memorable in its own way. We especially appreciated the friendly people and well-planned experiences, including chauffeurs in luxury cars, staying in a carriage house on the shores of Loch Lomond, a visit with a shepherd who was well-versed in local history, and private bagpipe performances.

My wife had the unexpected pleasure of learning the right way to drink whisky. The highlight of the trip was spending three hours with the chieftain of my clan (MacLean), while receiving a personalized tour of Duart Castle on the Isle of Mull. It was a truly unforgettable adventure and we would highly recommend it to anyone considering a visit to Scotland.

From the ancient wonders of Athens to the whitewashed villages of Mykonos, the dramatic cliffs of Santorini, and the authentic traditions of Crete, every stop offered something unique and unforgettable. Most importantly, the people we met along the way transformed a beautiful vacation into a truly special experience. The journey took us through Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, and Crete.

Outstanding Planning and Service

Every transfer, hotel, tour, ferry, flight, restaurant reservation, and activity was flawlessly coordinated by Zicasso's travel partner. The itinerary struck a perfect balance between guided experiences and personal exploration, allowing us to enjoy Greece without ever worrying about logistics.

Athens – History, Culture, and Exceptional Hospitality

Our stay at our hotel in Athens gave us incredible Acropolis views and a perfect base for exploring the city. Walking through the Acropolis with our guide and standing before the Parthenon was breathtaking. The Acropolis Museum and city highlights tour helped bring thousands of years of history to life.

One of the highlights of our anniversary celebration was dinner at a restaurant atop Lycabettus Hill. Watching the sun set behind the Acropolis while enjoying excellent Greek cuisine and wine was a magical experience and one we'll never forget.

We would especially like to recognize our driver in Athens. He was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our trip memorable. During our day exploring the Argolis region, Epidaurus, Mycenae, and the Nemea wine country, he provided insights that helped us better appreciate the history and culture of Greece.

What truly distinguished our driver was his attention to detail. While we were traveling along the Athenian Riviera toward Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon, he realized we were hoping for a true seaside lunch experience. Without being asked, he contacted the travel company and coordinated everything to make a last-minute adjustment so we could enjoy lunch by the sea. That thoughtful gesture perfectly reflects the level of service he provided throughout our stay. It turned a wonderful day into one of our favorite memories of Athens.

Mykonos – Relaxation and the Beauty of the Aegean

Mykonos provided the perfect contrast to the historical focus of Athens. Staying at our hotel in Mykonos overlooking the Aegean Sea allowed us to fully appreciate the island's beauty.

We spent time exploring the charming streets of Mykonos Town, admiring the famous windmills, and enjoying the relaxed island atmosphere. A major highlight was our private catamaran cruise to Delos and Rhenia. Sailing through the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean while visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Delos gave us a fascinating glimpse into one of the ancient world's most important religious centers. The secluded waters around Rhenia were stunning and provided some of the most beautiful scenery of our trip.

Santorini – Spectacular Views and Unforgettable Sunsets

Santorini is every bit as beautiful as the photographs suggest and somehow even more impressive in person. Our stay in Oia overlooking the caldera was breathtaking. Whether enjoying breakfast with panoramic views or simply walking through the village, every moment felt special.

The wine-tasting experiences at a winery were outstanding. Sampling the island's distinctive Assyrtiko wines while learning about Santorini's unique volcanic terroir gave us a new appreciation for Greek winemaking. The carefully paired food-and-wine experiences were among the culinary highlights of the entire trip.

Our private sunset catamaran cruise around the caldera, White Beach, Red Beach, Black Beach, hot springs, and the volcano was another unforgettable experience. Watching the sunset from the water while enjoying dinner and local wine created one of the most memorable evenings of our anniversary trip.

Crete – The Heart of Greece

As amazing as Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini were, Crete became our favorite part of the journey.

Our quick stop at Knossos Palace and the historic city of Rethymnon allowed us to learn about the Minoan civilization and experience the rich blend of Venetian and Ottoman influences that define the island. The old Venetian harbor in Chania was equally impressive and provided a spectacular setting for our stay.

Samaria Gorge

One of the most rewarding experiences of our entire trip was hiking the Samaria Gorge. Covering 11 miles through one of Europe's most spectacular natural settings was challenging and incredibly rewarding. The dramatic cliffs, pristine landscape, and sheer scale of the gorge were unlike anything we had experienced before.

A tremendous part of that experience was our guide. Our guide brought expertise, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for Crete that elevated the hike far beyond a typical excursion. His knowledge of the region, local culture, and natural environment made every step more meaningful.

Kissamos Villages and Cooking Class

Our final full day in Crete may have been the most authentic and memorable day of the entire trip.

The tour of the traditional villages of Kissamos provided a fascinating look at everyday Cretan life. Learning about olive oil production, tasting regional products, and experiencing rural villages gave us a perspective on Crete that most visitors never see.

The cooking class that followed was exceptional. Our host created an atmosphere that felt less like a tour and more like spending a day with friends. Together with his mother, he shared not only recipes, but the stories, traditions, and values that make Cretan culture so special.

For anyone traveling to Crete, we cannot recommend this tour company highly enough. Their commitment to authentic local experiences is truly outstanding.

This trip exceeded our expectations in every possible way. We experienced world-famous historical sites, breathtaking landscapes, incredible food and wine, beautiful hotels, and unforgettable adventures. Yet what we will remember most are the people who made the experience so special.

We returned home with wonderful memories, a deeper appreciation for Greek culture, and gratitude for everyone who helped make our anniversary celebration the trip of a lifetime.

Our entire group loved every element of the trip, from the resorts/hotels to the excursions to the transportation that Zicasso's travel company arranged. We wouldn't have changed anything about the trip and absolutely will go back to this travel company for additional trip planning!

We loved our Greece trip and had so much fun with our activities. Of the referred travel companies from Zicasso, we gravitated to this travel company because of its personal attention to detail regarding our vacation wishes. Our travel specialist took the time to listen and tailored an itinerary that captured our interests. It did not disappoint. This was our second trip through Zicasso and, as with the first, the guides, drivers, and support were on point.

The travel company lined up excursions with the nicest and most engaging people. From our arrival at the airport, they made us feel welcomed and special. We went to the head of the line again and again, and avoided much wasted time. The guides and drivers were genuinely glad we were there and our enjoyment was of the utmost importance. They always seemed to go above and beyond expectations with the knowledge they imparted and the amount of personal attention they provided.

In general, we found the people of Greece to be so nice and that really made the difference on this trip. Need a restaurant suggestion, just text our guide, as he was always right. Need a reservation, just text the travel company through WhatsApp and it was made. We are still texting a couple of the guides for additional information and recommendations for friends traveling to Greece.

Traveling by boat was one of the best decisions we made. The overnight ferry from Athens to Crete was an unexpected pleasure, and we would recommend it over air travel anytime, as it was very relaxed. Chania was engaging, Santorini was beautiful, and Paros was the ultimate place to chill out before traveling home.

We can't stop talking about how much fun we had in Greece. Thank you, the travel company, our travel specialist, and Zicasso. We will be in touch about our next adventure!

This is a summary of our thoughts on our recent trip to Croatia that was created by Zicasso's travel specialist. Overall, we had a really great time.

The hotels that the travel specialist chose for us were terrific. The rooms in our hotels in Split and Dubrovnik were spacious and very comfortable. In fact, the location for all three hotels was excellent. In Split, our hotel was right where the action was. It was a great location. The hotel rooms at our hotel in Hvar were small, but otherwise very comfortable, and the location was fantastic. The travel specialist correctly chose our hotel in Dubrovnik outside of the Old Town. It was not within walking distance of the Old Town, but travel by cab or Uber was very easy and our hotel was beautiful. The breakfast spots in each hotel were beautiful, which was a lovely way to start each day.

At each point in the trip, the arranged rides were right on time and very helpful. The vehicles were all excellent. We had a variety of excursions and the quality was variable. Our first full day in Split we had a food tour mid-morning after we had had a full breakfast. That kind of tour would have been much better in the afternoon. Our guide did not give us very much history of Diocletian's Palace, which we would have enjoyed, but touring the palace was still a delight.

The trip to Krka National Park was beautiful, as well as the brief walk in Šibenik on the way back to Split. Our guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant.

The ferry rides from Split to Hvar and then Hvar to Dubrovnik were uneventful. Transfers to and from the hotels also were smooth.

The tour of Hvar was interesting, although it seemed to be stretched out to get us to our dinner destination at a set time. That particular meal was mediocre and the subsequent trip to a small winery was also not a highlight. That trip could have been done in a shorter period of time and we would have been happy to pick our own dining location. The itinerary read, "Enjoy your authentic Mediterranean meal," but it really was not special.

We were disappointed that we could not see the Blue Cave or the island of Vis, but the weather really did not permit it. The itinerary was clear that weather conditions might affect the itinerary, which they did, but the skipper did his best to keep us relatively close to shore. We were still able to go swimming at a protected cove and had a nice stop at a beautiful winery, which made up for not getting to the cave and Vis. Unfortunately, at one point two of us got seasick and after lunch those two went home to Hvar by taxi. The other two of us had a great afternoon boat ride back to Hvar.

In Dubrovnik we had an excellent guide who showed us the Old Town and guided us to the cable car ride to Mount Srđ. We had a one-day Dubrovnik Pass, which, frankly, was a waste of money. We had toured with our guide and then did the cable car, so there really was not any time to avail ourselves of the things that the Dubrovnik Pass would have given us. If it helps for future planning, we really did not need the pass.

We, as a group, had different feelings about the trip to Montenegro. We did not realize how long the trip actually took. It's a long drive there and back. One of us thought it was worth the effort; the others did not. Our guide was very good. If we had understood what was involved in traveling back and forth, I suspect we would not have pursued the trip. It was relatively late in our tour and a day of rest or a trip back to Dubrovnik would have been a better use of time (and then we would have used the Dubrovnik Pass!)

The last day touring the Elaphiti Islands was also affected by rough seas. Again, it was no one's fault, but we did not get to see everything we had hoped for. That said, our skipper was excellent. We learned quite a bit about Croatia and Croatian life from him, and we had a nice lunch on a beautiful island.

One recommendation that we would like to make relates to tipping. We were very happy to tip everyone along the way, but we had not planned for this, so we were a bit short on the euros that we had brought with us. We would recommend that the travel company include an approximate total of the tips for the trip. That would have been very valuable.

All told, it was an excellent trip, our second Zicasso trip in two years. Thanks!

I have traveled all over the world with my wife and three boys, two of whom are adults now, and what separated Zicasso's travel specialist was how he handled unforeseen circumstances and how he helped us stay flexible. He and his partner were able to change the timing of certain attractions on a couple of days and were always available when we needed them.

On the final leg of our journey, we were supposed to stay at our hotel in Lucerne, but on arrival, were told we had no rooms due to the U.S.-Iran peace talks that were scheduled there. Our travel specialist was able to advocate for us and get us a full refund for the rooms, and have us moved to a similar-quality resort in Zurich, where we stayed in an expansive suite and had an excellent time. He was driving us himself that day, which was really helpful, as I am certain without his assistance it would have been a disaster for us because there were no comparable rooms left in Lucerne at other top resorts. He also gave us an impromptu tour of Lucerne prior to us getting to the hotel, at our request, even though it was not on the schedule. He was also a pleasure to be around and we all enjoyed his company. We will be recommending this travel company to friends for sure.

We are a couple in our upper seventies who recently returned from a fabulous 10-day private tour of Croatia. Of the many places we have visited around the globe, Croatia is among our favorites. The country offers extraordinary national parks, a gorgeous, dramatic coastline, warm, friendly people, great food, and a cosmopolitan culture with a rich history. The weather was splendid in late May.

Zicasso's travel specialist worked closely with us to put together an itinerary that was truly perfect in terms of the pace and the types of activities we like to do. We feel we learned a great deal and came to admire the resilience of these remarkable people. Despite great hardship, they remain positive and optimistic, and are very proud to introduce their culture to visitors.

We visited Zagreb, Zadar, Split, Hvar, Dubrovnik, and Mostar, and had walking tours of each. Truly every place we visited offered highlights. Among our favorites: Plitvice Lakes and Krka National Parks (the two are quite different and both are worth seeing); the Meštrović Museum in Split; walking the walls of Dubrovnik; an incredible Middle Eastern lunch following a trek to the historic bridge in Mostar; the Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun in Zadar; lunch featuring prawns buzara at a harborside restaurant on a glistening day in the Elaphiti Islands. Indeed, too many fine restaurants to mention!

In sum, Zicasso's travel company created a superlative tour for us, for which we thank our travel specialist and her marvelous team.

Our lodge at Ngorongoro Crater was a nice change from camps at the end of the week. A key to the intelligent schedule was to send us to West Serengeti first. We caught the migration in its full glory. Most safari travelers we met did it in reverse, starting at Ngorongoro, and may have missed much of the migration. As a “lucky” bonus, white rhinos were introduced at Ngorongoro two days before we got there and we got to observe the interesting reaction of the existing black rhinos to these larger relatives. We saw every common animal species that exists in the Serengeti. That included 85 different lions and 13 different cheetahs.

This trip exceeded all our expectations and the direction and oversight by the travel company was spot-on. I can recommend this tour operator without any reservation.

Our trip for six adults was truly wonderful. The Zicasso staff and tour guides were amazing. The drivers were all on time, friendly, and helpful.

The only negative we had was at the end of our trip. We did not have transportation from Athens airport to our hotel. A shuttle ran from the airport to our hotel, but only at the top of every hour. We didn't have a description of the shuttle or where it would be. Unfortunately, we missed the first one at the top of the hour and had to wait another hour. We tried to walk down and grab a cab, but would need three for our party size. The larger ones wanted 100 euro for a nine-mile drive. We walked back to the shuttle pick-up area and a bus came that could only accommodate eight. There was a family already standing there waiting for the shuttle as well. We were told the next one would come in another hour, but if we wanted to grab a cab, then the hotel would pay. This was now an hour-and-a-half ordeal, walking back and forth with all of our bags. We walked back and got cabs. The driver was very angry about having to go inside and get paid. It would have been so much smoother had we had transportation lined up like the rest of the trip.

Outside of that, we enjoyed everything that was planned and would definitely use Zicasso's travel company again.

We started in the Cayo District at a beautiful hotel adjacent to the river. We visited Mayan ruins, did a night tour, and visited the ATM Cave. Then we did a cave float and visited the Belize Zoo on the way to Placencia. We again stayed at an incredible resort, going on a tour of the Monkey River and an amazing snorkeling adventure. She even made sure we had a golf-cart rental to get around the peninsula easily.

Our days were filled, but not too busy, the perfect amount of scheduled and unscheduled time. The attention to detail was excellent. The travel specialists made sure I was happy with the itinerary when the deposits were due and before we left the US, but then they also checked in on us during the trip multiple times to make sure everything was going well and we had everything we needed. Our days were filled with visiting churches, museums (including the Ferrari and Enzo Ferrari museums), a winery, parmigiano, prosciutto, and traditional balsamic manufacturing, a cooking class, boat tours, and food tours.

Along the way, we saw testing at the Ferrari track and a small portion of the women’s Giro d’Italia. With all that, we still had sufficient downtime to search the streets to find our own gems.

We really enjoyed the trip! Zicasso's travel specialist was extremely helpful, very responsive to our requests, and stayed in touch throughout the trip.

Our high expectations were exceeded at every turn. The itinerary was really nice and, once it was nailed down, the details were superb. It included where to be and when, who was going to be there, or what train schedule to use. Our first-class Swiss Travel Pass was perfect. Our four- and five-star hotel accommodations were incredible, and all of our reservations were pre-booked. Some were upgraded at no charge and all of them (four in eight days) were ready and waiting for us upon arrival. I highly recommend Zicasso and this travel company.

Our hotel in Dubrovnik was great and the views were absolutely fantastic. Our guide in Old Town Dubrovnik was terrific and felt like a member of the family by the end of the tour. The kayaking adventure was okay. The yacht was wonderful and the crew worked hard to accommodate us. It was great to find a four-day sailing trip, which was the right fit for our family. I wish we had more dialogue with the skipper earlier than the first day of the sail to help us prepare for the destination changes.

The dinner at a local restaurant was difficult because we weren't prepared for a three-hour dinner and it conflicted with our children's schedule. More transparency on the itinerary would have been helpful to manage our expectations.

I appreciate the travel company's help with our canceled and delayed flight. We were able to make the most of our very short time in Rome.

What a wonderful trip we had! Everything was planned out so very well. The two tour guides we had were exemplary and we enjoyed those days immensely. Most of the hotels were great, with terrific locations. The suggestions of activities offered for each place were spot-on. We especially loved the string quartet concert in Salzburg.

The communication of Zicasso's travel company was really good. I always felt they were right there to help when I needed it, which I definitely did one early morning. The train passes at the hotel in Lucerne had not been sent to them, but somebody got them to me in 20 minutes. Crisis averted.

We were not thrilled when we got to Vienna and found the Pride Festival was in full swing. It really made getting around the city a challenge. If I’d known that, I probably would’ve stayed an extra day in another city to avoid that.

We loved the trip and were able to 100% concentrate on the experience because all of the planning and logistics had been taken care of by Zicasso's travel specialist. Overall, we had a great trip and loved most of our planned activities. Also, the transportation in-country was awesome! The trip could not have been better! Our driver set the tone for the trip. He was outstanding. A superb driver, he also explained much about Irish culture and traditions, as well as the history of different areas and structures.

The agenda laid out by Zicasso's tour company was perfect, as were the hotels we stayed in! I had insisted on staying at a castle hotel in Ireland, which turned out to be wonderful. The tour company might consider that as an option for some travelers, as it has a lot to offer for families, as well as individual travelers.

It was an active vacation with a lot of driving, so I would discuss with the travel specialist if you want a slower pace. However, if you do so, you would forgo some amazing sites! We had heard that the food was not good, but with the travel specialist's suggestions and our own research, we had excellent meals.

Incredible service! Our trip was planned with every detail we asked for, and then I fell on our second day, requiring us to return home ASAP. Our agents were amazing and went above and beyond their normal duties! They arranged transportation to and from the doctor and hospital, rearranged hotel stays, and rebooked our flights (when we were 291 in the airline queue). Most of this was being done after normal business hours. They also continuously checked on how I was feeling. These agents are by far the best anyone could ask for!

We had a beautiful trip. All the drivers arrived on schedule and were courteous and professional. The guides for our tours were wonderful, especially one guide, who we were lucky to have on three occasions.

The Parmesan and balsamic experiences were great! The cooking class in Bologna, conducted by a local chef, was entertaining and educational. Our accommodations, particularly in Modena, were lovely.

The only change to the itinerary I would suggest is separating the food tour in Bologna and the cooking class by a day. It was too much food!!
