Zicasso's travel specialist and the travel company were extremely receptive to my wants/needs for my honeymoon. They provided an excellent first-draft itinerary and were easy to work with to refine the itinerary to exactly what my wife and I were looking for. The execution of the trip was just as perfect as the planning. We never had to worry about anything during our trip. Everything was planned and ran smoothly. Zicasso's travel company did a great job with all the details. Every pick-up ride was waiting, small planes were as scheduled, and camps and lodges were expecting us. Our private guide was amazing. Camps were fantastic, with wonderful staff who became family.

Our lodge at Ngorongoro Crater was a nice change from camps at the end of the week. A key to the intelligent schedule was to send us to West Serengeti first. We caught the migration in its full glory. Most safari travelers we met did it in reverse, starting at Ngorongoro, and may have missed much of the migration. As a “lucky” bonus, white rhinos were introduced at Ngorongoro two days before we got there and we got to observe the interesting reaction of the existing black rhinos to these larger relatives. We saw every common animal species that exists in the Serengeti. That included 85 different lions and 13 different cheetahs.

This trip exceeded all our expectations and the direction and oversight by the travel company was spot-on. I can recommend this tour operator without any reservation.

Our trip for six adults was truly wonderful. The Zicasso staff and tour guides were amazing. The drivers were all on time, friendly, and helpful.

The only negative we had was at the end of our trip. We did not have transportation from Athens airport to our hotel. A shuttle ran from the airport to our hotel, but only at the top of every hour. We didn't have a description of the shuttle or where it would be. Unfortunately, we missed the first one at the top of the hour and had to wait another hour. We tried to walk down and grab a cab, but would need three for our party size. The larger ones wanted 100 euro for a nine-mile drive. We walked back to the shuttle pick-up area and a bus came that could only accommodate eight. There was a family already standing there waiting for the shuttle as well. We were told the next one would come in another hour, but if we wanted to grab a cab, then the hotel would pay. This was now an hour-and-a-half ordeal, walking back and forth with all of our bags. We walked back and got cabs. The driver was very angry about having to go inside and get paid. It would have been so much smoother had we had transportation lined up like the rest of the trip.

Outside of that, we enjoyed everything that was planned and would definitely use Zicasso's travel company again.

I absolutely loved our visit to Belize and Zicasso's travel specialists made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful time. I traveled with my three daughters (ages 10, 13, and 15). The activities the travel specialist suggested were spot-on.

We started in the Cayo District at a beautiful hotel adjacent to the river. We visited Mayan ruins, did a night tour, and visited the ATM Cave. Then we did a cave float and visited the Belize Zoo on the way to Placencia. We again stayed at an incredible resort, going on a tour of the Monkey River and an amazing snorkeling adventure. She even made sure we had a golf-cart rental to get around the peninsula easily.

Our days were filled, but not too busy, the perfect amount of scheduled and unscheduled time. The attention to detail was excellent. The travel specialists made sure I was happy with the itinerary when the deposits were due and before we left the US, but then they also checked in on us during the trip multiple times to make sure everything was going well and we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Belize and this travel company!

We loved all the islands, but the last stop in Santorini was magical. The stay at our hotel in Santorini exceeded all our expectations. We had the lowest room on the slope, so there were 176 steps up every morning and usually again in the evening for dinner. But the view was worth every step.

We even booked all of the restaurants you recommended, finishing our last night at a restaurant in Oia with an amazing sunset view. Thank you so much for your attention to detail and for giving us an incredible experience. We will remember this trip forever.

Zicasso's travel specialist organized an amazing 12-day series of private tours, taking us from Milan to the lake regions (Como, Maggiore, and Garda) and down to Bologna. Our days were filled with visiting churches, museums (including the Ferrari and Enzo Ferrari museums), a winery, parmigiano, prosciutto, and traditional balsamic manufacturing, a cooking class, boat tours, and food tours.

Along the way, we saw testing at the Ferrari track and a small portion of the women’s Giro d’Italia. With all that, we still had sufficient downtime to search the streets to find our own gems.

Our trip coordinator checked in with us daily to confirm the daily itinerary and transportation. When we had questions or needed to make a change due to the weather, she was thorough, attentive, and responsive in a way that was reassuring and comforting. She was simply amazing.

From the very first online video conversation to the day we left Costa Rica, Zicasso's tour operator was checking on us and our experiences. When we needed to make changes to our itinerary during the trip, they were very prompt and accommodating. A special surprise was to have our travel agent and his wife meet and greet us at one of our tours. We loved his 1968 VW bus.

For my mom’s 70th birthday, I gifted her, “You pick the location, I will plan.” That was the first time I learned that snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef had been on her bucket list for the last 26 years.

I have been blessed to travel to many countries through my job, but never to Australia, so I started researching travel companies to help me plan the trip.

My research led me to Zicasso. I was impressed from the start. I was immediately contacted with a request to better understand the trip that I was hoping to take. This is where I met our travel specialist. She is amazing and very patient. Over the course of a couple of weeks, her and I discussed and refined the opportunities in Australia for the trip.

She was knowledgeable about Australia and did a wonderful job listening to what I wanted to accomplish with my mom and providing me options for ways we could achieve everything. She was also honest when she thought the agenda was too tight and if anything happened with weather or travel, what would be at risk. She was detail-oriented and made sure we had our visa information well in advance of travel.

Two weeks before our trip, we received an email detailing how to download and use a travel app. The app shared a day-by-day itinerary, complete with details for the day and contact information along the way. For an “old-school” traveler who is used to printing all itineraries, the app made the trip easy and the details were accessible at all points during our trip.

The guides and events that our travel specialist partnered us with to make all of my mom’s wants come to life were professional; they were on time and they delivered amazing experiences.

The ultimate outcome was exactly, if not more than, everything my mom hoped it would be. And so for me, it was incredible.

Our trip to the Amalfi Coast, arranged by Zicasso's travel specialist, could not have been more perfect! All our travel ran so smoothly. It was so nice not to worry about arranging pick-up and transportation. We were even met right as we got off the plane in Rome! All the drivers and guides were excellent, sharing helpful tips that ensured we used our time wisely to see the most interesting sites.

The hotels were all wonderful, with perfect locations, beautiful and spacious rooms, and breathtaking views. Our food journey was inspiring, with lots of fish, buffalo mozzarella cheese, pasta, and even a wonderful cooking class at an organic farm for my birthday! A team member made sure all our restaurant reservations were secured and even tipped us off to a transit strike in Italy so we could arrive early at the airport.

The travel specialist's suggestion that we visit a winery on Mount Vesuvius and visit Pompeii was excellent, so fascinating! The travel specialist and her team also arranged boat rides for us in Capri and in Sorrento to Ischia, which were extra-special. Our Sorrento boat captain even brought a delicious chocolate cake to celebrate my birthday!

Our high expectations were exceeded at every turn. The itinerary was really nice and, once it was nailed down, the details were superb. It included where to be and when, who was going to be there, or what train schedule to use. Our first-class Swiss Travel Pass was perfect. Our four- and five-star hotel accommodations were incredible, and all of our reservations were pre-booked. Some were upgraded at no charge and all of them (four in eight days) were ready and waiting for us upon arrival. I highly recommend Zicasso and this travel company.

Our hotel in Dubrovnik was great and the views were absolutely fantastic. Our guide in Old Town Dubrovnik was terrific and felt like a member of the family by the end of the tour. The kayaking adventure was okay. The yacht was wonderful and the crew worked hard to accommodate us. It was great to find a four-day sailing trip, which was the right fit for our family. I wish we had more dialogue with the skipper earlier than the first day of the sail to help us prepare for the destination changes.

The dinner at a local restaurant was difficult because we weren't prepared for a three-hour dinner and it conflicted with our children's schedule. More transparency on the itinerary would have been helpful to manage our expectations.

I appreciate the travel company's help with our canceled and delayed flight. We were able to make the most of our very short time in Rome.

What a wonderful trip we had! Everything was planned out so very well. The two tour guides we had were exemplary and we enjoyed those days immensely. Most of the hotels were great, with terrific locations. The suggestions of activities offered for each place were spot-on. We especially loved the string quartet concert in Salzburg.

The communication of Zicasso's travel company was really good. I always felt they were right there to help when I needed it, which I definitely did one early morning. The train passes at the hotel in Lucerne had not been sent to them, but somebody got them to me in 20 minutes. Crisis averted.

We were not thrilled when we got to Vienna and found the Pride Festival was in full swing. It really made getting around the city a challenge. If I’d known that, I probably would’ve stayed an extra day in another city to avoid that.

The trip could not have been better! Our driver set the tone for the trip. He was outstanding. A superb driver, he also explained much about Irish culture and traditions, as well as the history of different areas and structures.

Incredible service! Our trip was planned with every detail we asked for, and then I fell on our second day, requiring us to return home ASAP. Our agents were amazing and went above and beyond their normal duties! They arranged transportation to and from the doctor and hospital, rearranged hotel stays, and rebooked our flights (when we were 291 in the airline queue). Most of this was being done after normal business hours. They also continuously checked on how I was feeling. These agents are by far the best anyone could ask for!

Everything went as planned, except for a train interruption due to a typhoon, which was, of course, totally out of anyone's control. One day, the details of our cooking class event were missing, so we almost didn't get to go. Also, I would skip all subway travel. We walked way too much and spent way too much time in subway stations. Taxis would have been a better choice to see the neighborhoods and sights.

One of the best things we liked was the way that our travel specialist set up our visit to each country. Usually, the first day was a city tour with a guide to get to know the city and the history. The second day was a countryside tour away from the city to allow us to get a better feel and understanding of the history and also the countryside. The last day or so would be a light schedule so we could explore the city on our own, which worked great since we already knew the details of the city.

Also, the transportation our travel specialist set up for us was outstanding! From the limousine service to our train tickets, ferry tickets, plane tickets, etc., that made the trip extremely easy to navigate!

Their staff contacted us via WhatsApp daily to make sure we were fully aware of the time and place for pick-ups and activities. They answered questions immediately. They managed to upgrade us to a deluxe two-floor suite at the nicest resort I’ve ever seen. They perfectly captured what we were looking for when planning this trip. All hotel accommodations were good except for one castle hotel, which definitely does not deserve a five-star rating, and I would not include it on future itineraries. I can elaborate further if need be. Our hotel in Killarney and the castle in County Clare were the best of the bunch.

One of the things that impressed me most was how thoughtfully they incorporated our interests into the trip. I mentioned that my daughter loves animals and they built in experiences that became some of our favorite memories, including animal cafés in Tokyo, the bowing deer in Nara, and the monkey park in Arashiyama.

Every hotel was perfectly located, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding neighborhoods after a day of sightseeing and discover great restaurants and local gems. The highlight was our stay in Hakone at a traditional ryokan. Our room felt like something out of a movie—beautiful, serene, and almost dreamlike—with its own private onsen overlooking nature. It was one of the most memorable experiences of the entire trip. The guides they selected were exceptional. They tailored each day to our interests and provided wonderful local insights that we never would have discovered on our own. In Nara, on an especially hot day, our guide suggested a local shaved-ice shop, and it was pure bliss—a cool cloud of deliciousness when we needed it most. Our guide at Fushimi Inari seemed to know everyone and took us to hidden spots that most visitors never get to see.

The attention to detail throughout the trip was remarkable. One example that stands out is the train seating they reserved for us. We had luggage that was slightly larger than a standard carry-on and they managed to book the only seats in the train car with convenient baggage storage space. It made traveling between destinations so much easier and more comfortable.

They also arranged unique cultural experiences that became cherished memories. We participated in a calligraphy class at a beautiful Kyoto gallery with a knowledgeable and encouraging teacher, and we left with meaningful keepsakes we created ourselves. Another highlight was a Japanese home-cooking experience with a gracious local hostess who not only taught us traditional recipes, but also took us on a walk through her neighborhood and a beautiful local park. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience everyday life in Japan beyond the typical tourist attractions.

We had a wonderful and memorable trip to Greece, thanks to the Zicasso travel specialist’s excellent planning. In addition to exploring Athens, she designed a seamless road trip across the Peloponnese Peninsula that took us to beautiful beaches and ancient castles in Messinia, Voidokilia, Pylos, Methoni, Monemvasia, and Nafplio. She also provided clear directions and recommended great stops to break up our drives, including Mystras Castle and the beautiful Polylimnio Waterfalls.

Our hotel accommodations were excellent throughout the trip and we really enjoyed our stay in beautiful Santorini. We also appreciated her restaurant recommendations, which saved us from having to search for places to eat and always led us to great food. She stayed in touch via WhatsApp the entire time, checking in on us and answering our questions whenever they came up. There is so much to see in Greece that we’ll definitely need to go back for another visit.

Overall, the trip was perfect! The hotels were really nice and the itinerary was great.

A few things I would have changed. First, the Amalfi tour day. There was not enough time in Ravello or Positano. We needed more time to relax and shop.

The class of train could have been nicer for the Florence-to-Rome portion of the trip.

We've been to many wineries throughout Europe and the one we went to on our way to Siena was okay, but we have been to much nicer wineries, with better wine and food tastings. It was not a great wine tour experience.

Everything else was wonderful and we really enjoyed the trip with our sons!!!

One time, we expressed a preference for spending more time in the Cotswolds, since we had only about 45 minutes the day before. Our guide worked with us. At our request, we were able to drop a half-day cathedral visit to Wells and spend the day in the Cotswolds. Also, we were able to switch another trip, the Yorkshire Moors for the Yorkshire Dales, due to the weather. Our drivers were knowledgeable and flexible, patient and helpful. They were also cheerful and kind.

He designed a beautiful itinerary, with first-rate accommodations, tours, and many suggestions for free time, but was also quite willing to make changes. He was always available and when I had two very small issues that I messaged him about, he called me immediately. The app that I was given to use for the duration of our vacation was fully detailed and an incredibly useful tool.

Great trip, great guides, great hotels. Everything the travel company suggested was fabulous and as described. We did three nights in Rome and five in Sorrento. Path of the Gods and the boat trip around Capri were the highlights, but we had a couple of great guides in Rome! For anyone with food issues: I have a lot of food allergies that are not conducive to Italian travel, but Zicasso’s travel company hooked me up; everyone knew I was coming, what my allergies were, and were able to accommodate me (which isn't always easy).

It was a wonderful trip overall! The perfect mix of city and history, with nature, adventure, and the beach. It was such a treat to have everything handled for me by Zicasso's travel company, and all I had to do was show up!

It was a complicated trip, with 12 people from five years old to 72 and lots of internal African travel and transfers. Sleeping arrangements were challenging on safari with youth. All was handled very well, flawlessly, in fact, for our 50-year-anniversary family adventure! Highly recommended.

Last year, we had a fabulous trip in Croatia, organized by our travel specialist, and were thrilled that he was able to help us this year with our trip to the Czech Republic and Poland.
