Detailed Description
Ancient temples soar above the luscious jungle, and their sculpted features are imbued with the details of yesteryear. Markets bustle with smells and sounds, and serenity reigns over temples and spas, which are idyllic places to take a moment and reflect on a continent’s wonder. One week is not enough to witness all of Asia, but many of the continent’s hidden highlights are neatly packaged into this private tour. Covering three countries and four destinations, this tour is a perfect blend of Asia’s contrasting experiences. With expert private guides that will guide you throughout your journey, you will be able to avoid the noisy tour groups and to savor a very personal collection of authentic experiences.
After landing in Bangkok, you will have a day to explore a variety of highlights, from local markets to the city’s grand design and contemporary display. Chiang Mai is Thailand’s cultural hub and also possesses the best spas in Asia. Therefore, you can expect an intimate spa experience after exploring the temples on day two. The following morning, you will explore more old-world Buddhism before a day trip to the hills, where a tribal Karen community will welcome you into their community before teaching you about their way of life. These three days in Thailand will be followed by a short flight to Luang Prabang, which is the region’s most evocative and unchanged old city.
Two nights are essential here because Luang Prabang’s atmosphere is magical after dark, which is when the temple-laden streets are softly lit and pedestrianized. On day four, you can discover the key highlights and develop a strong sense of Laotian heritage. The surrounding jungle will provide superb wildlife experiences on day five, while elephants and Asiatic black bears provide a different side to your travels in Asia. Then, after another direct flight, you will explore Angkor in style. Angkor Wat will be your highlight of day six before you explore the wider Angkor area on day seven. That is three countries, seven days, and an endless amount of local experiences along the way.

We had a fantastic trip to Cambodia and Laos!!! Zicasso’s tour company went above and beyond our expectations.
Every guide and driver was awesome. They were prompt, informative, helpful, and, most importantly, very personable. If there were any concerns, the guides handled the issue in a professional and timely manner.
The hotels and accommodations were always five-star and exceeded our expectations.
On our trip, we journeyed from the hectic life of cities to the simple subsistence life of remote villages. We learned about local history, culture, religion, and food. We saw Angkor Wat, literally one of the wonders of the world, as well as seeing the horrors of the reign of the Khmer Rouge.
In Cambodia and Laos, this trip was full of wonderful experiences, education, and excitement. It broadened our understanding of the world, just as travel should. Thank you for recommending this travel company to us.

Zicasso's travel specialist and his team were amazing, and we felt supported every step of the way. His team sent us notes before and after each event, and all of the drivers were on time. I would highly recommend him and his team.

It was a well-planned trip. Zicasso’s travel specialist really listened to our likes and dislikes and tailored the trip accordingly. We received competing proposals initially and the plan prepared by the travel specialist was clearly tailored to us and far superior to the more “canned” approach proposed by others.

Our overall trip was exactly as we had planned. Arrival into Thailand was a little confusing, but Zicasso’s travel specialist helped right away. The information he gave us about arrival was on the travel statement, just small print at the bottom of the page, and I didn’t notice it. Correspondence with the travel specialist was excellent from start to finish, with all questions answered promptly.

This trip was planned out perfectly to all my wants and desires. Zicasso’s travel specialist created one of the best experiences we've had. Having been on trips planned by other travel groups, I think this surpassed them by cost and coordination.
All the guides were excellent and we were never left without someone to contact. All the drivers arrived on time (even early) and we were contacted ahead of time about who and where to meet each person (sometimes with photos of who would be picking us up).
The independent excursions that were arranged were excellent, with knowledgeable and personable guides.
The transfers to and from the airport were coordinated to perfection, and the travel specialist’s office contact even did the check-in process for the flights from Chiang Mai to Bangkok to Phuket. She also completed the immigration form for us for arrival in Thailand.
I can go on and on, but I can't say enough good things about the travel specialist’s coordination of our trip and how beautiful Thailand is in country and people.
