Portugal Trip Review: Porto, Douro Valley, Private Cooking Class, Food Tour, Winery Visits, 1 Week

Our trip to Portugal, arranged through Zicasso and expertly crafted by our travel specialist, was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. From the vibrant city of Porto to the breathtaking Douro Valley, every detail was thoughtfully planned and flawlessly executed.

Our private guide was exceptional, an expert in all things Portuguese. His deep knowledge of the country’s history, culture, customs, and traditions brought each destination to life.

Our stay in the Douro Valley was truly memorable. Our hotel was exceptional, featuring a beautiful river view room and a restaurant that showcased the region’s cuisine. We also visited several charming boutique and family-owned wineries, each offering unforgettable hospitality, remarkable wines, and unique experiences that reflected the charm of the region.

I highly recommend Zicasso and, in particular, the travel specialist to anyone considering a trip to Portugal. It truly exceeded our expectations!!

Thank you, Zicasso, for connecting us to our travel company. I wasn't sure how this process would work out, but it was amazing. You made it easy to connect with a local travel agent and create the perfect vacation. Our agent provided a customized trip that exceeded all our expectations!

We wanted to experience a mix of city, seaside, and countryside, and she delivered perfectly. Our itinerary included time in Lisbon, a few days in the charming seaside village of Ericeira, a stay in the stunning Douro Valley, wrapped up with an exciting visit to Porto. Each location was beautifully chosen and the hotels she selected were top-notch.

A special shout out to our tour guides, who ensured our trip was extra fun and engaging. Their knowledge and friendly demeanors made each day enjoyable.

Overall, I highly recommend our agent and her company to anyone looking to explore Portugal!

Portugal Trip Review: Monsaraz, Evora, Douro Valley, 2 Weeks

The trip was fabulous. Our driver and guide was excellent.

We could have changed a few things around before we left to accommodate Batalha, but we saw everything else that we wanted to see.

A few hotels could have been upgraded, but the hotels in Porto were awesome and so was our hotel in Cascais. Lovely location and hotel.

Zicasso’s travel specialist was awesome to work with and very responsive, as were other members on the team while in Portugal.

Thank you for wonderful memories.
