This grand adventure through Paris and Rome begins with your arrival in the City of Lights. You will have four nights to enjoy and explore the enchanting city, which is emblematic of elegance, romance, and an enduring magnetism. Monuments line the boulevards and lead to sensational museums that house celebrated artists. Visiting the classic sites of Paris encompasses the fabulous views from along the Seine River and a panorama from atop the Eiffel Tower.

You can sample the food by taking a class designed to impart the wisdom of French technique and Parisian flavors. The Louvre Museum connotes an impressive collection of art and artifacts, which spans human civilization. The d’Orsay highlights the unique point of view of artists between the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Versailles Palace shimmers with gilded walls and a vast garden that is adorned with powerful fountains.

Rome will lead you into the past with the luxuries of modernity. Vespas wind along the cobblestone streets and gelato shops serve a delicious blend of fruity and decadent flavors. The mix of ruins and vibrant contemporary culture represent the endless rebirth of the city over the millennia, resulting in an ambiance that is perfect for cultural exploration, romance, exciting dining experiences, and artistic discoveries.  The historical legacy of Rome dates back 3,000 years and is reflected in the ruins of the Roman Forum.

The museums boast artwork by Italian masters, and the Colosseum retains a sense of prominent power as the symbol of the city and the ancient empire. Rome entertains with a brilliance that stems from the Vatican Museums to St. Peter’s Basilica and from the Pantheon to the Spanish Steps. You can master the deceptively complex dishes of traditional Roman gastronomy during a private cooking class and bask in the incredible depiction of the allegories Raphael painted inside the Villa Farnesina for the ultimate representation of Rome’s majesty and Paris’ splendor.

Italy Vacation Review: Florence, Tuscany, Umbria, Local Cuisine, Museums, 14-Day Trip

My wife and I recently returned from our first trip to Italy and want to highly recommend Zicasso's travel specialist and her company for creating the perfect vacation for us. It was a two-month process of back and forth, but no matter what we asked of her, she delivered several options.

We had a perfect mix of historical Florence and its museums, and wonderful restaurants, and the Tuscany and Umbria countryside experience. And on our first day, when our flight into Florence got diverted to Milan, we had the peace of mind that our travel specialist was there to help with her much appreciated support.
