With the glittering lights of Florence illuminating around you, your first evening will include a riverboat tour along the Arno river. It is here that you will receive an overview of the city’s major sights, including the Ponte Vecchio and the role the Arno played in supplying Florence with transportation and trade. Pedals will replace oars as the main mode of propulsion as you embark on a tour of the city by bicycle. The city center enjoys the status of being a UNESCO World Heritage Site, so there will be much to see here.
Before your departure, you will visit the famous Duomo, which towers over the rest of the city, as well as the numerous galleries and museums that display world-class Renaissance art.
