Rhine Valley - Rest After Your Flight

The Rhine Valley is only an hour away, and you will be transferred privately by a local guide. Upon your arrival at your riverside accommodation, you can check in and have the rest of the day at your leisure. You can wander along the river, explore the small town, rest by the pool, and regain your energy after the flight. With ten days in Germany, this laid-back location is a great way to start.

Zicasso’s travel company put together a wonderful trip for us! Our 10-day trip included stays in Berlin, Dresden, and Munich, with stops in between in Potsdam and Nuremberg. We had great guides, great hotels, great recommendations, and great communication from them throughout the trip. I highly recommend working with them.

For our trip to Germany, Zicasso’s travel specialist and his team did an outstanding job at planning a trip that felt personalized just for us. From the beginning, the travel specialist understood exactly what we were looking for. Instead of scheduling tour after tour, they gave us the perfect balance of self-guided walks, private tours, with enough time to relax and experience several beer gardens and beautiful scenery. They really worked to give us a curated experience that fit within our budget. On the trip, if we had any logistical snags or questions, they were always available to assist us and make sure that we were on the right track.
On our eight-day trip, we did end up travelling a bit more than we expected, but that also allowed us to see a little bit of everything and, looking back, I wouldn't have given up any of the places that we were able to see.
There's not a lot that I would change about the trip. Maybe an extra day in Munich between the day trips that we took and one more day in Rüdesheim, where we could have taken it easier after the fantastic wine tour we received.
I would highly recommend this travel company to anyone looking to visit Germany.

Thank you for all of the help planning and then supporting us throughout our trip. The itinerary was planned to visit several villages and cities in Germany, then Paris and London. The transfers, train tickets, and hotel rooms all worked out perfectly. Even more notable was a death in my family, which caused us to delay and change the trip somewhat. Zicasso’s travel company was extremely supportive and again helped plan the trip with a few changes. I highly recommend the travel company.

We are a family of seven, ages 17-63, and Zicasso’s travel company created an incredible 12-day trip for us all to Switzerland and Austria. There were a lot of transportation logistics, tickets, hotel and dining reservations, and intricate details that they seamlessly pulled together for us. Having our own (and the same) driver for the duration of the trip was an incredible perk.
We traveled to Zurich, Grindelwald, Zermatt, Lucerne, Salzburg, and Hallstatt. We had a wonderful time, thanks to their detailed planning, itinerary, and attention to important details, including one traveler with celiac disease/special dietary needs.
Don't miss paragliding and the Via Ferrata in Murren, Switzerland, and the Fräulein Maria bike tour in Salzburg!

We had a wonderful trip to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland! The people from the tour operator were very helpful in the planning phase of our trip. They were able to design a trip that included a variety of experiences that appealed to our different interests in each of the six cities we visited.
The accommodations they booked for us were all very clean and comfortable, and in good locations, within walking distance of sights or transportation to those sights. We mostly traveled by train once we arrived in Europe and they were helpful in booking train tickets for travel in Germany and Austria, and the Swiss rail and bus passes that we used for travel in Switzerland.
A representative kept in contact with us and was available to answer questions as needed. When one of the activities was canceled due to bad weather, they facilitated ticket refunds for us. We were very pleased with the planning and responsiveness of Zicasso's tour operator and would use them to plan a trip again.
