In the 15th and 16th centuries, salt trading and shipbuilding helped propel the city forward as a maritime power and rival of Venice. Today the city's primary industry is tourism. Croatia Trip Review: Dubrovnik, 9 Nights

Zicasso's tour coordinator planned a beautiful trip for us. It was everything we asked for. She even came to our hotel in Dubrovnik to introduce herself. It was very nice to meet the person I'd been communicating with for four months.

Our trip coordinator went above and beyond to help us after our flight back to Michigan on September 24 was canceled. We couldn't get a flight back until September 26. She called our hotel and arranged for us to stay there for two more nights, so we didn’t have to change hotels.

She kept in constant contact with us throughout our stay. I highly recommend the tour company if you are planning a trip to Croatia.

Croatia Vacation Review: Dubrovnik, Hvar, Kayak Trip, Wine Experience, Nature, 1 Week

Our travel agent was very responsive before and during our trip. Zicasso’s trip planner booked drivers and tours with companies that were top-notch, very professional, and timely. She was very knowledgeable about all things Croatia, was a big help in planning timing and suggested activities for our trip, and was willing to adjust things based on our budget. We even got to meet her when we arrived in Dubrovnik and she had a small gift for us, which was a very nice touch. Overall, it was a great experience working with her.

Croatia Tour Review: 'Game of Thrones,' History, Culture, 7-Night Trip

Zicasso's tour company put together a perfect trip for our family. They listened to our interests and expectations, and designed an ideal agenda for us, including fun and enlightening tours, centrally located hotels, and suggested restaurants. The tour guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and helped us understand Croatian culture and history, and gave us some inside scoop on Game of Thrones.

Croatia Trip Review: 11-Day Trip

I could not have had a better experience. Zicasso's trip planner was very responsive. She always responded within a few hours of an inquiry from me. The other agent Zicasso recommended sometimes took two days to get back, but this one balanced keeping the day "full" and allowing me time to explore on my own.

Every guide she booked for me was absolutely super. If I ever return to Croatia, I would want her to organize the holiday for me. She also added some much-appreciated personal touches—a fruit plate and wine at the hotel. She came by on the last day to see me off and gave me some tasty chocolate.
