Perfect 9-Day Puglia Exploration

I want to take a moment to express my sincere thanks to Zicasso's travel company and each and every tour guide they provided. I had the most amazing time of my life. My group received the best care and attention to detail; we never had to worry or wonder what to do or how we would get there. I cannot express my gratitude to all. There is no other way to travel. This tour was worth every penny I spent. Thanks to our guides and drivers for their knowledge and enthusiasm, and to all those who made this a remarkable journey. I really don't know where to start. The trip to Italy was nothing short of awesome. The planning Zicasso's travel designer did for us was beyond our expectations. Every hotel was absolutely beautiful, perfectly located, and made available to us everything we needed and even beyond that. All hotel personnel were friendly, professional, helpful, and genuinely wanted our experience to be perfect.

Our drivers were waiting for us, clearly visible, friendly, and accommodating, including water, etc., in the vehicle. They answered all questions and made suggestions that were very helpful.

The sites we visited were perfect for getting a taste of each city and history of your beautiful country.

Our guides were above and beyond. All knowledgeable and again, friendly and fun, and really made all of our tours exceptionally fun and interesting. All entries into tour sites were quick and they all "knew the ropes" and made the tours so enjoyable. They shared their experiences with travel, etc., which really gave a personal touch to all we learned and experienced.

Our wine tour was awesome, especially our tour guide. Our host provided lunch and there was even a gentleman who waited for us while we were leaving and invited us into his home for appetizers and wine. We really felt welcomed.

Our last tour was the private boat to Capri. The team from the boat tour company made that day exceptionally fun with their personalities and knowledge, and catered to our every whim. It truly was a day of paradise.

I want to state that all of the tour guides and drivers were exceptional. Everyone would get a five-star review for their contribution to our trip.

Again, I want to thank our travel designer and all who were involved in planning this trip and following us all along the way each day, providing our itineraries, making suggestions for dinner, etc., and making changes to accommodate the weather.

I would also like to note that the order in which the trip was planned was perfect. We toured all the cities, with lots of walking and absorbing the history, etc., and then ended our trip in Sorrento, where we relaxed, enjoyed a full day on our boat tour, and swam in the Mediterranean. And let's not forget the shopping!!!

There is not one thing I would have changed. Everything was absolutely perfect.

It was great working with Zicasso's travel specialist in the planning of our trip. She was very patient and kind in answering my many, many questions. I had not traveled so extensively since before the pandemic, so I was a bit apprehensive. She was very thorough and responsive.

The details of the trip, the itinerary, were perfect. We were able to have the sights and experiences we most wanted, complemented by some that we would not have thought of.

The execution of the trip, the schedule of drivers, guides, hotels, etc, was perfect. All of the guides were exceptional. All were extremely knowledgeable and had great interpersonal skills. All were adaptable and met the special needs we sometimes presented; for example, walking at a slower pace.

The customer service support was wonderful – knowing that if I had a question or concern, it would be addressed quickly.

Our trip was fantastic. The Zicasso tour company did a wonderful job setting up our trip navigating five Italian cities. The recommendations for hotels and dining were excellent.
