Reykjavik – Arrive in Iceland and Enjoy the Blue Lagoon
Iceland is a country of captivating landscape and thrilling adventure, relaxing hot springs and thrilling volcanoes. Fishing villages overlook the calm waters of secluded fjords and puffins hide in the niches of coastal cliffs. Your flight will land at Keflavik International Airport, and your private transfer will greet you upon arrival. The aroma of pine will be drifting through the air from the sporadic trees and green grasses as the plains sweep to the foothills of Mount Esja. Before reaching the capital city of Reykjavik, you will stop at the famous Blue Lagoon. The tranquil ambiance welcomes you into the lobby, and the changing rooms are a luxurious space to enjoy before exiting into the warmth of the lagoon.
Steam will rise from the milky blue water and wash over the edges of the framing black soil. A wooden walkway that traverses the water allows you to enter the lagoon from wherever you please. The water averages a temperature of 133 degrees Fahrenheit and will be soothing to your muscles after your flight. The mud from the thermal bath contains minerals that help refresh the skin, and boxes around the walkways allow visitors to take the mud at their leisure and spread it over their arms, legs, and face for a rejuvenating experience. You will return to the changing room and shower away the remnants of the water before your private transfer will greet you in the lobby and bring you to your luxurious hotel. Our Iceland travel specialists will ensure that you are situated in the heart of the city.

We loved the troll tour of the Ring Road. Our guide was great. It was very active, with some hilly climbs, which were challenging. Most of the tour hotels were good, but there were limited food choices in some locations, especially for vegetarians.
Our hotel in Reykjavík was fun and we enjoyed the restaurant there. The hotel was a bit noisy at night. We found and recommend a local café across from the Hallgrímskirkja as well.
In Norway, we loved our rooms in Bergen, looking out on the water. Our driver there was very nice. We enjoyed the train to Flåm, but wished we’d had two nights in our hotel in Balestrand, as it was exceptional. Food was included and very nice. We might have enjoyed a day tour with a local guide if we’d had more time. The ferries worked well.
Thank you!

I received a well-planned itinerary from Zicasso's tour operator. I would use them if another trip comes up. The tour operator and the agent were very responsive to my questions; the app they sent me covered nearly all aspects of the trip and itinerary, and was very helpful in keeping me on track. Their service was of the highest level.

Zicasso's travel designer and the tour operator set up a great schedule. I was actually very surprised by how well the activities were balanced throughout the day. I never ran out of things to do and only had to skip a few locations on one day, most likely my fault for enjoying the places for too long at the beginning of the day. I would highly recommend the tour operator for setting up a great schedule for your visit to Iceland and booking all the necessities (e.g. car, hotel rooms, etc.).
They were also very helpful leading up to the trip to accommodate some last-minute changes and to help answer all of my questions before I arrived. Thank you so much for helping to create some great memories of my time in Iceland!
