Karatu – Welcome to Africa
The dusty plains, the sense of space, and the roads of evocative orange are the journey that leads into the wilderness of Africa. Touch down into Tanzania, and the impressions turn to reverie, introducing you to a land that's mostly untouched by man. After landing at Kilimanjaro International, a micro flight takes you to Karatu, where a luxury camp offers views over a game-filled valley. There's time for a quick game drive into Lake Manyara, where lions climb trees and hippos grunt from the shallows. The travel company was outstanding. We received Exceptional service and attention to detail. Zicasso's tour company absolutely delivered on everything they promised. We could not have asked for a more knowledgeable, courteous, and professional guide than ours. He was simply extraordinary. The travel company and our trip coordinator had the entire trip meticulously organized.

Zicasso’s trip coordinator was very easy to work with. I asked for several modifications to the itinerary, which she handled expediently and everything went on without a hitch. The tour operator was excellent. They met with us "in the field" to answer any questions and I had a direct line to them in Tanzania for any issues. It was nice to deal with someone in the U.S. while in the planning stage. Not necessary, but definitely a luxury.

The trip was the best we have ever had. Africa is a very special place. Zicasso's travel expert did a fantastic job of organizing the itinerary. The only disappointment was that we were not scheduled to see the mass migration across the river.

Our special trip surpassed all of our expectations!
We had a large group wanting to go on safari and started planning around a year in advance. We also had small children coming with us and we were celebrating a milestone birthday! My first call was with Zicasso’s travel agent, who had the best enthusiasm and confidence in delivering what we wanted. The other travel partner was my main point of contact afterwards and she probably ended up answering at least 10,000 questions for me!
Each moment of the trip was specially curated and special. They did a great job finding camps that would give us a unique experience rather than becoming redundant. The hospitality at the camps and accommodations were unique and comfortable. We were all so happy with how everything went! We would definitely use this travel company again for our travel needs!

We had an amazing trip, planned by Zicasso's travel partner. This is the first time I've ever used a travel agent and I'll admit, I was nervous. She took all of our feedback into consideration while planning. I highly recommend!
