Florence – Visit the Florence Cathedral
Your journey will begin when you land at Florence International Airport. A private transfer will greet and transfer you to your luxurious accommodation in the heart of the city. Upon your arrival, you will have some time to settle in and spend at your leisure. In the evening, you will indulge in an evening tour of the Florence Cathedral. The church will be beautifully illuminated under the night sky as you begin to tour with your guide. This introductory tour will immerse you in the history of the city.
Florence – Amazing Renaissance Art
This morning, you will set out to explore more of Florence’s attractions with a private guide. The first stop on your tour will be the Uffizi Gallery. The famous art gallery dates back to the 16th century and is home to a premier collection of Renaissance art. Paintings by greats, such as Caravaggio and Raphael, can be found here, and you will enjoy every minute of your visit. Your exploration into Florence’s rich art will continue as your tour moves to the Accademia Gallery. The highlight of your tour will be the chance to see Michelangelo’s David.
Siena – Visit Piazza del Campo and Siena Cathedral
This morning, you will transfer to your next Tuscan destination of Siena. Upon your arrival in the age-old city, your guide will greet and transfer you to your hotel. After having some time to relax, your guide will lead you on a private tour of the city’s historical attractions in the afternoon. Your tour will include visits to the Piazza del Campo, Pubblico Palace, and Siena Cathedral. Siena is on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list and is home to a rich collection of historic buildings. Once your tour concludes, you can enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.
Lucca – Discover San Gimignano
After breakfast this morning, you will begin the picturesque ride to your next destination of Lucca. Along the way, the ancient town of San Gimignano will be a great place to stop and explore. San Gimignano is known for its skyline of age-old towers. Here, you will get to see some of the ancient towers that are still standing, and learn how they were often built as a status symbol by rival families. After you explore Siena’s gorgeous 12th-century church, you will continue your ride to the beautiful city of Lucca. After you arrive at your hotel, you will be free to start exploring the city.
Lucca – The Captivating City of Pisa
After breakfast, you will have the morning to spend at your leisure. Perhaps you will venture out and explore the city’s ancient walls before embarking on a day trip to the beautiful city of Pisa in the afternoon. A local guide will greet you upon your arrival to begin your tour of the city. Pisa’s main attractions are located in the Square of Miracles, and you will become familiar with most of them before you leave today. Your visit will include the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the Baptistry, and the Leaning Tower. After your tour, you will return to Lucca for one more night.
Riomaggiore – Riomaggiore and Manarola
This morning, you will transfer to the picturesque Cinque Terre area. This sought after destination in Italy is made up of five cliffside towns, each with unrivaled views and stunning landscapes. After an enjoyable ride along the coast, you will arrive in Riomaggiore, which is the southernmost town of Cinque Terre. Soon after, your guide will greet and lead you on an afternoon tour of Riomaggiore and Manarola. As you begin to travel around the charming roads of Riomaggiore, you will come to the Castle of Riomaggiore, which dates back to the 13th century. After a brief ride, you will arrive in the next town of Manarola. After your tour, you will return to Riomaggiore for the night.
Riomaggiore – Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso al Mare
Today’s activities will take you to the three remaining towns of Cinque Terre. A brief but scenic ride will first land you in the town of Corniglia. Upon arrival, a local guide will greet you and begin your tour. Corniglia is one of the quieter towns in Cinque Terre, and you will enjoy the tranquility and beauty that surrounds the town. Afterward, you will continue to Vernazza. This ancient town is known as one of the most stunning areas in all of Italy. The final stop of the day will be Monterosso al Mare before returning to Riomaggiore for the evening.
Riomaggiore – Departure
With a warm cappuccino in hand, you can explore more of Riomaggiore this morning. After you have wandered into a few of the charming shops, you will return to your hotel. Soon, your driver will transfer you to Pisa International Airport for your flight home.
