It was a fantastic trip! We had enough to do in every location, but still enough free time to explore on our own. I do wish we had been given a bit more detail on some of the tours; we were surprised a few times. It did not negatively impact us, but it would have been nice to be more prepared.

I think I learned a lesson in planning a trip with a travel company. The written policy was unclear to me, although Zicasso’s travel specialist had specifically advised me that it was nonrefundable. I had paid the deposit in May, covering my travel and that of my travel companion. The final amount was due 70 days prior to the trip. As it turned out, she was diagnosed with cancer, had to receive chemo, and was unable to travel. I ended up paying the entire amount of the trip because of the nonrefundable policy, so I lost a significant amount of money. For my next trip, which I plan to do in the spring, I would look for a way to better manage to avoid this type of issue. That was a huge chunk of change to lose. The travel company did suggest that I find someone to replace my original travel companion, which I did. However, because it was a last-minute thing, the person who substituted was able to make the trip but was not able to pay the the full cost of the trip. I figured that it was better than having that money go to waste. The travel company made the ticket changes without charging me any penalties associated with it.
Nonetheless, the trip was amazing. Specifically, the tour guides chosen by the travel company were exceptional. There were a couple of small hiccups but they were no big deal, and the travel company was quickly available via a messaging app to help resolve issues.

Zicasso's travel specialist did a fabulous job at putting together an itinerary that took into account all of our requests, from places to visit, keeping costs in check, and giving us a mix of private and group tours. She hit it out of the park! We had a fabulous time and everything went off without a hitch. Our hotels were great, our guides were top-notch, and our transportation between destinations (plane, train, auto) was comfortable and seamless. My husband, Steve, and I highly recommend this agency.

We had a wonderful experience with Zicasso. Every detail was thought through and our trip went perfectly. We had frequent communications on our experiences and also to tell us what was happening the next day. We highly recommend this tour company and we will be using them again.

The hotel locations and accommodations were outstanding. The pick-up service was excellent, as were our drivers. Our tours and guides were excellent. Zicasso’s travel specialist made our trip easy to navigate. Daily notifications of the agenda were an added bonus. I will reach out to the travel specialist again.
