Take in the sights of the old buildings and learn some of the history that relates to the canals as you travel in a private boat. Day two of the vacation will begin with a trip to Milan’s Cathedral. The impressive church will amaze you with its detailed statues, and you will enjoy the vast views of the city from the cathedral’s rooftop. In the afternoon, the tour will continue to the world-famous La Scala Opera House. Here, you will witness the main auditorium and nearby museum before viewing a special opera performance in the evening. The legendary building and romantic music will be a perfect end to the day.

A combination of shopping and history highlight day three, which will feature exciting visits to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and Sforza Castle. During the trip to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, which is one of the world oldest shopping malls, you will discover some of the best of Italian fashion and have the opportunity to shop at high-end boutiques such as Gucci and Prada. After lunch, head to the ancient Sforza Castle. This grand castle is home to various museums and exploring them will be a great way to dive deeper into Milan’s history and culture. You will then have free time in the park, Parco Sempione, which is located outside the castle, to spend at your leisure. The beautiful green grass and pretty flowers will be the ideal way to balance your day. On the morning of day four, you will depart Milan for a one-night excursion to the renowned village of Bellagio. Your private transfer will first stop in the city of Como where you will go a tour of its main attractions before embarking on a private boat ride around the gorgeous Lake Como. After taking in all the spectacular sights of the lake, you will arrive in the waterfront village of Bellagio. The village is highly sought after for its ideal location that overlooks the lake and its luxurious villas, and you will spend one night in a lavish hotel that is located on the water where you will also have a romantic dinner for two.

Feeling totally relaxed and content, you will return to Milan via private transfer on the morning of day five and begin a tour of the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. The ancient church will be filled with sights to see, and the highlight of the visit will be having the opportunity to view Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece: the Last Supper. Here, you will have the chance to sample various delicious wines as you learn about the winemaking process and discover your favorite, Italian blend. Day six of your vacation will feature a visit to the Brera Art Gallery and Brera Botanical Gardens. The massive gallery will fascinate you with its hundreds of works of art by master artists such as Raphael and Bellini. The botanical gardens will also be extraordinarily scenic and peaceful. Italy Trip Review: Rome, Amalfi, Positano, 12 Days

The trip Zicasso's travel specialist arranged for us exceeded all our expectations. It was absolutely wonderful; not a single detail was overlooked. The hotels were excellent, the tours were great, and the drivers were always on time. I totally recommend Zicasso and the agency, and will undoubtedly use them for future travel plans.

Italy Travel Review: Lake Como, Ostuni, Private Boat Tour,...

Zicasso's travel designer did a terrific job. We had the initial phone consult, after which she delivered a first draft of the itinerary. From there, she helped guide us through a few revisions until we got the details smoothed out. We are experienced travelers and can appreciate a well-constructed trip, and that's what our experience with our agent reflected.

One crucial thing is that all the drivers who are engaged to move you around are prompt. Every one of them was right on time and friendly and helpful to boot. It was much appreciated.

To sum up our experience, I would do it all again with Zicasso and the agency and our agent. Our trip to Italy in the late summer of 2025 was something we will not soon forget!

Italy Tour Review: Vatican, Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pompeii,...

Zicasso's travel agency far exceeded our expectations. We had our five-year-old and 11-year-old children with us, so the tour guides and walking needed to be kid-friendly.

Our hotel in Rome was wonderful, the location was perfect, and they had good A/C and a breakfast buffet. There were plenty of great restaurants within easy walking distance, as well as the Vatican.

Our tour guide for the Colosseum and Roman Forum was great. Pompeii was amazing. Our tour guide was basically a celebrity down there and knew exactly how to take us around the ruins without ever waiting.

Tuscany was our favorite by far. We did a cheese-making experience and lunch that was super-cool. The kids got to play with the farm animals and the owners were so attentive and interesting. We did a cooking class with a chef that was the kids' favorite thing on the entire trip. I would make a point to book this experience; the kids still talk about it and wear the aprons around the house. The resort in Tuscany was nice. We had our own private pool, plus the resort pool, and could easily walk to a small local town with some great food.

Venice was good, but probably our least favorite on the trip. You have to walk a ton, which was difficult for the kids, but it's still worth experiencing.

We travel a bunch and I would highly recommend using Zicasso's travel partner.

Italy Vacation Review: E-bike Tour, Kayaking, 10-Night Trip...

This was the best trip ever!!! I am so grateful Zicasso introduced us to our tour operator. This team was amazing! They set up a call to learn more about us and jumped into action. Within a short time, they came back to us with a presentation on ideas, with recommendations. There is no chance our trip would have been half as good without them. They even had a text group on standby while we were here in case we needed anything.
