Australia Tour Review: Sydney, Phillip Island, Penguin Experience, Melbourne, Local Cuisine, History, Great Barrier Reef

I really thought the Zicasso travel partner was fabulous and so thorough and easy to use. I would rate it the best travel app. It had my itinerary down to the minute detail, info on how to contact various people if there were any questions, and was so easy to navigate.  I would rate my trip to Australia my favorite so far. I recently went to Japan through a different travel agent and was able to compare the difference. Our travel team was so much better!

My husband and I went to Australia to drop off my daughter, who was doing an exchange study in Sydney. We started in Melbourne and had a full-day tour to Phillip Island, with a moonlit animal sanctuary and penguins. I would recommend the penguins. I saw thousands of penguins. What an experience! I did not like the sanctuary part. Tickets were sold out for the koala petting and there were not very many animals to see. I have heard there are other sanctuaries/zoos in other parts of Australia that are much better.

The Melbourne food tour was fantastic! Our tour guide did a wonderful job of explaining Melbourne's history with the food. We flew to Cairns, to Port Douglas, and had two excursions: a boat ride with snorkeling in the Great Reef Barrier and a Daintree safari.  The full-day cruise with snorkeling was wonderful, with so much food! The Daintree tour was a bit long and could have been condensed into half the time. I probably would not recommend that tour.

Finally, we went to Sydney to drop off my daughter. We did the bridge walk, which was fantastic. Each person was so well protected and the safety checks were top-notch!

Our trip went without any problems and our drivers were well-coordinated and on schedule. I would use this company for future trips to Australia. I plan to visit New Zealand and would use them again.

Australia, New Zealand Trip Review: Tasmania, Rotorua, Uluru, Queenstown, Luging, Camel Ride, Wildlife, Hobbiton, Islands, Glowworm Cave, 2 Weeks

We absolutely loved so much of our trip! My kids’ (ages 11 and eight) favorite activities were luging in Rotorua, NZ, and the sunset camel ride in Uluru, AU, while my husband and I were enchanted by Hobbiton and enjoyed exploring a glowworm cave with the owner's father! We all loved Tasmania.

There were a few hiccups. However, we were very happy with all the support the Zicasso travel company's team provided in real time to help us get back on track.

The overall trip was fantastic. My husband and I appreciated having the team support our adventures, both the highs and the lows. The team members were detailed-oriented. This trip exceeded our expectations and we’re incredibly grateful for their expertise in curating such memorable experiences.

Australia, New Zealand Vacation Review: Tasmania, Waiheke Island, Melbourne, Christchurch, Milford Sound, Franz Josef Glacier, Wineglass Bay, Hiking, Biking, Food Tour, 1 Month

Zicasso’s travel company did a phenomenal job with stays, tours, and activities. In particular, we loved our room at our hotel in Tasmania, our villa on Waiheke Island in NZ, and our room at our hotel in Melbourne. Our itinerary was well thought out and exposed us to exactly what we'd hope to see in Australia and New Zealand.

Australia, New Zealand Travel Review: Great Barrier Reef, Milford Sound, Dart River, 14-Day Trip

We just returned from an incredible 14-day trip to Australia and New Zealand, and I cannot recommend Zicasso's travel company highly enough. From our very first conversation, our travel specialist and the team made the entire process seamless, collaborative, and genuinely enjoyable.

We had a lot of our own ideas and specific requests for the itinerary, and our travel specialist listened carefully, offered excellent suggestions based on her deep knowledge of both countries, and incorporated everything we wanted, while balancing pacing, logistics, and hidden gems we never would have found on our own. The result was a perfectly tailored trip that felt personal rather than "off the shelf."

Every detail was thoughtfully planned and flawlessly executed:

Transfers, internal flights, and ground transportation all ran exactly on schedule.

The accommodations were outstanding. Each was perfectly located and true to what we had discussed.

The activities and tours were well chosen and professionally arranged, with the right mix of guided experiences and free time for us to explore independently.

Nothing was left to chance, yet the trip never felt rigid. We experienced the perfect blend of iconic highlights (Great Barrier Reef, Milford Sound, etc.) and special moments that made the journey uniquely ours. There were zero hiccups, just one smooth, memorable adventure after another.

Our travel specialist's attention to detail, responsiveness, and warm professionalism made all the difference. She went above and beyond to ensure everything exceeded our expectations.

If you're considering a trip to Australia and/or New Zealand, do yourself a favor and book with this travel company. We couldn't be happier with the experience and will definitely be using them again for future travels.

Thank you, our travel specialist and the entire team! Highly, highly recommended.

New Zealand, Australia Travel Review: Milford Track, Uluru, Sydney, Hiking, Drone Show, Wine Tasting, Opera House, 3 Weeks

Zicasso’s tour company planned a wonderful, month-long trip for four of us in New Zealand and Australia. Every detail was covered and the pacing of the trip, although rigorous, allowed for appropriate downtime when needed.

The accommodations were very nice, providing a nice mix of four- and five-star boutique hotels, as well as a luxury splurge, all within our budget. When we requested a couple of last-minute changes to our itinerary, the travel company responded quickly and efficiently. The app was a bit confusing at first, but quickly became our go-to resource and the in-app messaging service worked well after hours and on weekends. Looking back, we wouldn't change a thing. It was all wonderful!

New Zealand Trip Review: Queenstown, Auckland, Doubtful Sound, Zeelandia, Glowworm Kayaking, Wine Tasting, 15 Days

I did not generally think this tour agent was as good as others I have used through your services. They did not seem as willing to arrange a first-class trip, particularly designed for me and my partner. Our favorite part of the trip was our overnight in Doubtful Sound, which I felt I had to arrange. Several of the views of the city (Queenstown and the Needle in Auckland ) were fine, but just the usual tourist deal and expensive. I would have preferred a half-day private tour of Auckland, for example. We wanted a half- or full-day fishing trip, which was kind of an add-on.
