This vacation is a complete escape and every detail has been carefully selected and planned. From the moment you land in Istanbul there's absolutely nothing to interrupt the stress-free atmosphere and royal pampering. A luxury chauffeur greets you in arrivals and whisks you off to your fabulous five-star accommodation. Forget about your bags. Be gently massaged into a blissful mood and then lounge in pools that complete the stress alleviation.

The opulent spa is modern and luxurious yet based on the ancient traditions of the city's hamams. In some respects it aesthetically resembles spas at home. Detailed Description

The luxury spa is not a modern concept. The hamams and baths of Turkey have soothed emperors and queens for many millennia, their therapeutic brilliance emanating from natural steam and thermal waters. Tracing the indulgent history, this unique tour is the ideal antidote to the pressures and stresses of modern life. Escape into private pools, be scrubbed in sultans' hamams, lounge in waters hiding Greek columns, and sail to hot springs hidden within forests. Almost every day features a spa or thermal bath yet this is not a one-dimensional escape. An eclectic range of treatments recreate the indulgence of bygone eras, your body and soul hibernating beneath the healing secrets that have shaped 21st century spas. It's also a journey into antiquity, reliving a time when the spa was an idolized reserve of rulers. Expect to be treated like visiting royalty throughout.

Start in Istanbul, your bags left at the reception of your five-star accommodation as a spa treatment sensually welcomes you to the city. Over these three days you will spend the mornings exploring Istanbul's fabulous famous sights, like the Hagia Sophia and its historic neighborhoods of boutique shops. Afternoons are filled with the city's centuries-old hamams, the beautiful domed rooms filled with steam as you lie back to be aromatically scrubbed. On day four you fly to Cappadocia and a day of sublime landscapes enjoyed from a boutique cave hotel. Days five and six recreate Greco Roman therapy in Pamukkale. Indulge in thermal baths, lounge in pools that twinkle above an ancient Greek city, and savor the fabulous views of the town's historic calcite pools. These two days blend the bathing memories of Roman queens with unrivaled escapism.

Day seven takes you to the Turquoise Coast and you stop to admire resplendent Aphrodisias en route. Your luxury private yacht is docked at Marmaris and it provides elegant transport for the next four days. Gently sail to hidden islands and secluded bays, a discreet crew providing impeccable service and a journey far off the standard tourist trail. Swim in shimmering clear waters, explore thermals used by Cleopatra, and discover how ancient Greek empires built marble walls around natural hot springs. An on-board masseuse completes the feeling of sheer bliss as you slowly journey along calm waters and evocative coastlines. On day ten you dock in the cute town of Kas before you depart from Turkey the next morning. Or, if you would like to extend your vacation, please visit the tours to Turkey page.

Turkey, Georgia Travel Review: Cappadocia, Konya, Hierapolis, Travertine Terraces, Sirince, Ephesus, Istanbul, 20-Day Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The hotels were exactly as described, the guides, overall, were very good (a couple were exceptional and only one was rather disappointing), and all the travel arrangements worked seamlessly. Throughout our time in Turkey, the Turkish affiliate checked in on us on a very regular basis and was available on a couple of occasions when we had questions.

Turkey, Greece Tour Review: Istanbul, Urla, Cappadocia, Meteora, Santorini, Grand Bazaar, Basilica Cistern, Local Cuisine, 2 Weeks

This trip was amazing! Zicasso's travel company took care of every detail. They created a wonderful itinerary and coordinated it seamlessly. They communicated with us all along the way; there was absolutely nothing amiss from the first day to the last.

Our accommodations were wonderful. Our guides were top-notch, incredibly experienced and knowledgeable, and all very enjoyable people. They felt like friends almost immediately! Each of them went above and beyond to make sure our experiences were everything we hoped for and more! Our drivers were attentive and professional as well.

We're seasoned travelers, but we couldn't possibly have planned and executed this trip on our own. We're so appreciative of the travel company's excellent staff and services. They created a trip that we'll remember forever.

Turkey Travel Review: Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus, Bodrum, Hot-Air Balloon Ride, 11 Nights

Zicasso’s tour operator created a terrific itinerary for us... just exactly what we were looking for. All the logistics worked out very smoothly. Our guides were excellent and we were very pleased with the accommodations. The trip was very professionally put together and well executed.

One small piece of feedback: We were surprised we never heard from the travel specialist or anyone from the tour operator during our trip. All the communication was through our guides, which, in our experience, is not typical.

Turkey Anniversary Travel Review: Istanbul, Cappadocia, Hot-Air Balloon Ride, History, 11 Nights

Zicasso's travel designer was extremely helpful in crafting an itinerary and tweaking it based on our review feedback. Within the parameters of the available days, we did and saw what we wanted to and had a balance of scheduled program versus personal free time.

Guides and vendor partners: Our assigned guides for our trip were excellent and personable locals. They were great SMEs and also interesting people to get to know. The time spent with each guide added to the richness of the experience.

Services and servicing throughout the trip: From providing a digital itinerary app with our itinerary easily available, updated with airline boarding passes. Hiccups can happen with travel plans. The travel designer was always aware and tracking, and took proactive steps to final, alternative options. For example, our scheduled hot-air balloon got cancelled and he worked to find an alternative option for the next day, and we recovered. Similarly, when one of the hotel stays wasn't ideal (noise, poor air conditioning), we were given a much better option when we returned for the last stay before departure. Again, issues will come up; he took ownership and worked on our behalf to solve it and seek the best alternative option. We stayed in touch via chat and periodic phone check-ins.

Special and unique: Knowing that it was our anniversary trip, the travel designer added a couple of special treats at a couple of our stays, which we appreciated.

In total, this resulted in a stress-free, highly enjoyable bucket-list trip to Türkiye. Our travel specialist was the best choice to help us experience Türkiye via sights, sounds and taste. I would highly recommend this tour partner. They were very professional, highly accountable, and responsive. Great people all around to deliver a personalized travel experience.
