Granada is often called the “Soul of Andalusia,” due to its atmospheric labyrinthine streets and gorgeous panoramas of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The romantic city highlights the changing times of historical Spain with preserved architecture and a cultural heritage that stems from the Moorish kingdom of the 13th- 15th centuries. With a rich tradition of Gypsy and Jewish influences, and the predominant Christian customs post the Reconquista that shifted historical mosques into lavish churches, there is much to learn about and take in.
Your flight will arrive at Federico Garcia Lorca Granada Airport, where your private transfer greets you at baggage claim. The striking beauty of the city will be immediately obvious as the Alhambra looms over the streets atop the summit of al-Sabika. After settling into the comforts of your luxury accommodations in the heart of the city, your guide will greet you in the lobby eager to introduce you to the charms of the Albaicin neighborhood. Strolling along Carrera del Darro has you following the pathway of one of the city’s oldest streets alongside the picturesque banks of the River Darro. The custom trip and itinerary were developed by Zicasso’s travel company and they made numerous recommendations for exploring, starting in Spain, in Madrid, and continuing down to numerous Andalusian cities, including Seville, Granada, Gibraltar, Málaga, and Córdoba.
Not only was the itinerary prepared with great detail and consideration, but every effort was taken to ensure the lodging requested met five-star requirements. Drivers and guides were assigned to us at all of our destinations, and this included airport arrivals and departures. Drivers and guides were not only punctual, they were personable and extremely knowledgeable, with decades of experience.
Our trip continued to Morocco, where we flew into Casablanca from Málaga. Again, airport connections were perfect and we had VIP arrival service on landing. Our driver and guide were aligned with us for the week we spent between Oualidia and Marrakech. Lodging was exceptional and our expectations were certainly exceeded.
Furthermore, the travel company made it a point to communicate with us openly over WhatsApp, answering the few questions we had in a prompt manner and checking in with us throughout the trip.
This is the first time I have 100% used a travel company and I could not have been more pleased with the delivery of the trip and the overall cost.

Our experience in Spain with Zicasso’s tour operator was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, every detail was handled with precision, care, and a genuine passion for creating a memorable journey.
The guides were not only deeply knowledgeable, but also engaging and intuitive, striking the perfect balance between historical insight and relaxed, personalized exploration. Each stop—from the breathtaking Alhambra to the hidden corners of Granada and beyond—felt thoughtfully curated and effortlessly seamless.
What truly set this experience apart was the level of service. The team anticipated needs before we even voiced them, adjusted plans fluidly, and made us feel like privileged insiders rather than tourists. The pacing was perfect, allowing us to soak in the culture, cuisine, and beauty of Spain without ever feeling rushed.
If you’re looking for a refined, stress-free, and deeply enriching way to experience Spain, this is it. A first-class operation that delivers on every level—we would recommend it without hesitation.

This was a perfect tour. We stayed in fine hotels in great locations. Our tour guides in Madrid, Toledo, Seville, Córdoba, Ronda, and Granada were outstanding in every way. The restaurant choices provided were spot-on. We enjoyed dining in the restaurants we selected from the lists provided. The food and wine in Spain are excellent.
We were able to meet the owner of Zicasso’s tour company and he was kind, knowledgeable, and a thorough professional. We are glad we found his company to manage our Spain tour and will look to book with his agency for a tour of northern Spain soon.
Also, the private drivers we rode with were nice and professional. The trains in Spain are clean and run on time, with very comfortable seats in first class.
For anyone who would like to tour Spain, we strongly recommend our travel company. We had a good pace to the schedule and experienced so much in a short, 10-day trip. The plan was thoughtful and thorough. We just had to show up at the airport and the rest was easy. As an older couple, and having traveled a lot in Europe the last three years, we know the difference a wonderful travel agency can make versus a bus tour, river cruise, or planning the trip ourselves. The best way to see Spain, in our view, is to use a high-quality agency. We appreciated all that our agent and his team did for us, including the 24/7 emergency contact numbers, and feel visiting Spain is best by employing this travel company. It truly was far superior to the other travel methods we have used in Europe.
Working with the company was easy. Zoom, phone calls, emails, etc., were all methods of communication. The collaboration was excellent.
As noted, we will plan to work with this team again and look forward to our next journey with them.
