Day 1
Cape Town – A Secret Sunset Spot on Signal Hill
Cape Town will delight from your first glance. Table Mountain provides more than just a backdrop: it imposes itself immediately with the city, stretching out across its foothills. If you look away from the mountain, you can see the majestic ocean as it continues to the horizon. You will be picked up at the airport and transferred to your boutique hotel in the city. Here, you will be within walking distance of outstanding restaurants and evening hangouts. Later this afternoon, your guide will take you onto Signal Hill. Rather than the touristic pinnacle, your guide knows an old-war bunker that is hidden high on a slope. From here you can watch an Atlantic sunset and pop the cork of a bottle of MCC, which is sparkling wine. After this idyllic introductory experience in South Africa, you will be returned to your luxurious accommodation for the remainder of the evening.

Detailed Description
South Africa is a dozen vacations in one. Here, you can luxuriate on white beaches and listen to the poetry of the ocean waves. Then, the following day, you can be deep in the Winelands or standing on a majestic mountain. In South Africa, there is wild Africa, where giant mammals run free and evocative scenes play out at watering holes, and there is also cultural Africa, which can be found on vibrant city streets and markets that unite the continental diaspora. You can also indulge in contemporary opulence while an elephant walks past you. Here, there is nature, history, wildlife, marine life, and the most extravagant landscapes. The best part of South Africa is that you can nearly experience it all in just two weeks.
This two-week adventure showcases the very best of South Africa and includes many of its most iconic highlights. Accommodations have been handpicked to reflect the country’s authenticity and allure. This will be an active and fast-paced vacation with private activities and excursions that are planned for every day. The country’s atmosphere is laid-back, and you should feel at home everywhere you travel. This journey can be customized with fewer activities and a more sedate pace should you wish. It can also be tailored to have a larger focus on a specific South African experience such as a longer big-game safari or more time on the coast.
The stunning city of Cape Town will be your first stop. With four days here, you will explore Robben Island, Table Mountain, the Cape Peninsula, and the wild West Coast. City charms include atmospheric neighborhoods and superb dining along with beaches and markets. You will then spend days five and six in the Cape Winelands, which is a bucolic region where the country’s best wine is just one highlight. This is a destination of opulence and utter tranquility, but it still has a distinct, South African feel. Hermanus will be your next destination. Hermanus is a base for whale watching and shark cage diving, and you will spend two days in this quaint town.
After flying to Johannesburg on day nine, you will have an afternoon to follow in Nelson Mandela’s footsteps. Soweto provides the destination, and it is a township that is full of energy and exuberance. You will culminate your vacation with the ultimate South African safari, which will be four days that are spread across Mala Mala and the Greater Kruger National Park. Game drives will showcase much more than the Big Five before nighttime drives and game walks provide another perspective of these breathtaking locales. You will hot air balloon over the savannah and experience wild Africa while still basking in modern comfort. Four days on safari is not just about ticking off the animals, but you will gain an intimate understanding of how the wilderness operates, especially the interactions between animals. From the Greater Kruger, you will then fly back to Johannesburg for your outbound flight.

The trip was the best we have ever had. Africa is a very special place. Zicasso's travel expert did a fantastic job of organizing the itinerary. The only disappointment was that we were not scheduled to see the mass migration across the river.

We had an amazing trip, planned by Zicasso's travel partner. This is the first time I've ever used a travel agent and I'll admit, I was nervous. She took all of our feedback into consideration while planning. I highly recommend!

This was a well-planned trip that was personally rewarding and fulfilling.
This trip provided a great balance of the diverse locations from both countries (Namibia and South Africa).
I chose Zicasso as, at this stage of life, when taking well-deserved vacations, I just want to pay, pack, show up and have everything (accommodations, transportation, domestic and international flights, tours, attention to safety, and additional recommendations) accounted for. And that is exactly what the Zicasso's travel expert provided via her tour agency.
I was able to share my must-haves/nice-to-haves and she customized a vacation package that tended to every detail. It was a wonderful balance of rustic and luxury. It was also our July “birthdaycation” for my aunt and me, and we were surprised at multiple locations with surprise birthday acknowledgements. Birthdays are very special to me, so this was a major “icing” on the cake for me on this vacation.
Although there was a minor “hiccup” on the day of arrival, the travel specialist's “on-the-ground” (local) staff pivoted and quickly and professionally found another option for us for our airport pickup. This shows the mark of a company interested in ensuring the complete satisfaction of their clients.
For the destinations the travel expert specializes in, they will be my first point of contact when looking to make my next vacation destination.
Well done!

The trip was carefully planned and we received optimal assistance throughout the trip and constant availability and monitoring during the journey. Our Zicasso travel agent was very professional and always available to respond to our requests and needs. The choice of hotels was excellent and reflected the expectations. The activities offered in the different locations were very well structured and the guides were of high quality, particularly those in Chobe National Park and Okavango Delta.

Our family had a blast in South Africa, thanks to Zicasso's travel designer. She was meticulous in the planning and gave some good suggestions that worked well for our group. From fast-track tickets up to Table Mountain to food recommendations, she curated an itinerary that made the trip a breeze.
The guide in Cape Town was a wellspring of knowledge. We learned so much about the country from her, from history to economics and culture.
The safari portion of the trip was most memorable. The resort in Hoedspruit was just what the family needed.
We will definitely look up this travel company for future trips.
