Detailed Description
The beautiful islands of Greece are the perfect destination for a vacation. The relaxing, 10-day journey will begin when you arrive at Athens International Airport. Two nights in the capital city will begin your journey. Upon your arrival, your private transfer will lead you to your luxurious accommodation. Once you have settled in, you can begin to discover all that Athens has to offer at your own pace. Later in the evening, you will transfer to an authentic Greek restaurant, which will is ideally situated on a hilltop and where you will enjoy a delicious meal for two in addition to some spectacular views of the city. The next day will feature a guided tour of the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum, where you can explore the remains of ancient Greek temples and witness the Parthenon during the tour.
After breakfast at the hotel on day three, it will be time to head to the port to board a speed boat that will take you to your first Greek Island of Mykonos. The cool breeze from the sea will guide the boat to the gorgeous island, which will be your home for the next two nights. A private tour of the island will highlight your afternoon, and as you admire the sights, you will easily become captivated by Mykonos and its beautiful landscape. The following day will feature an excursion to the nearby island of Tinos, where a guided tour will immerse you in the history and culture of the island. On day five, you will cruise across the Aegean Sea to reach your next destination of Naxos. An exclusive sailing trip around the island and private tour with your expert guide will allow you to discover the intriguing landscape, refreshing waters, and iconic attractions of the island. Feelings of romance will be in the air as you enjoy this special location, and a visit to one of Naxos’ restored olive mills and unique pottery workshops will also be unforgettable.
After a tasty breakfast on day seven, you will board a speed boat to jet off for your final island destination of Santorini. The next three nights on this gorgeous island will be relaxing, exciting, and luxurious, and you can discover the attractions of the island on a private tour that will include the Villages of Fira and Oia. A delicious dinner in Oia with the sunset in the background will be the ideal way to conclude day seven. The following day will feature a private, sightseeing cruise to the nearby island of Nea Kameni. We stayed on the island of Naxos. The hotel was very nice. The excursions our specialist booked for us (a food tour of the island and an all-day boat tour) were just right.
