Paris – The Remarkable City of Paris for the Culture and Cuisine
Paris is one of Europe’s most glamorous cities, known for radiant stained-glass windows, soaring cathedrals, sophisticated cuisine, and the elegant architecture of the Belle Époque. You will meet your private transfer at Charles de Gaulle Airport after your flight lands. Venture into the heart of Paris for an introduction to the classic charms along the banks of the Seine River. Patisseries fill their windows with vibrant displays of freshly baked baguettes and colorful macarons. The Eiffel Tower stands as an iconic fixture of the Parisian skyline and reaches 1,063 feet above the verdant field known as the Champs de Mars.
The remainder of the day will be at your leisure to wander the stunning cobbled lanes and tree-lined boulevards at your own pace. The depth of Medieval history in the city emerges from the Musée Cluny on the fabled Left Bank located inside the 14th century Hôtel de Cluny. The former Benedictine Abbey was erected over the foundations of a Roman bath complex to reveal the layers of the city’s history. One of the galleries in the museum displays sculptures from Rome and Gallic cultures dating back to the 1st century AD. Detailed Description
Savor the authentic flavors of France, Italy, and Greece during your 12-day culinary and culture tour. Your vacation will be an introduction to the depths of ingredients and tastes integral to the heritage of Paris, Burgundy, Bologna, Tuscany, and Santorini. Get to the heart of the culture by sampling the customary cuisine in tandem with uncovering the history of a space through a combination of architecture, art, and mythology. Indulge in the splendors of the ancient worlds, the grandeur of ducal palaces, and the majesty of renowned natural scenery that emphasizes the brilliant gastronomy of France, Italy, and Greece.
Your culinary excursion into the heart of France, Italy, and Greece will begin with your arrival in Paris. Your time in the City of Lights will engage all your senses with the visual charm of Belle Époque architecture and sensational flavors of the famous cuisine. The monuments of the city act as emblems that anchor you to the dreamy ambiance in the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame de Paris. Meanwhile, the gastronomy celebrates sophisticated flavors and remarkable history seen in chocolates and homemade macarons. The masterpieces in the kitchen mirror the masterworks of the art on display in the Louvre Museum.
Your visit to Burgundy will bring to light the joys of food and wine in the popular region known for indulging in culinary delights. The ducal palaces of Dijon reflect the former grandeur of the Medieval city and the wine cellars in Beaune capture the refined ideals of winemaking passed down through the generations. Cooking classes possess a sense of the rural comfort and the vineyards produce wines with a tantalizing flavor, unlike any vintage you have tasted before.
Bologna offers a special stay in the capital of Emilia-Romagna, Italy’s gastronomic center. The city blends Medieval allure with a culinary heritage steeped in flavor and deceptively simple dishes. Master artists take the form of chefs, cheese-mongers, and producers of balsamic vinegar in the cities of Parma and Modena. Heritage and the Renaissance take center-stage in Ferrara where captivating architecture reflects the growth of artistry in the city. Truffles grow in the woods and, once discovered, add tremendous, elevated flavor to the simplest dishes.
The majesty continues in Tuscany, the famous region of Central Italy known for lush rolling hills and untouched medieval towns. Florence remains a sensational starting point to connect with the beauty of the countryside and the flavorful inspirations of the cuisine from gelato to Bistecca Fiorentina. Explore the smaller towns of Tuscany and unearth stunning cuisine that adheres to traditional recipes and wines nearly forgotten by the outside world, yet treasured in the area.
The final leg of your culinary adventure leads you to Santorini, Greece. Spend time in Athens for the opportunity to wander through the excavated charms of the ancient city-state dating beyond the Golden Age of philosophy and thought in the Western World. The majesty of Santorini’s natural and artistic splendor emanates from ancient traditions of crafting wines, Cycladic architecture, and distinctive cuisine shaped by the volcanic soils and glistening Aegean waters. You can extend your culinary and cultural discovery tour with a longer stay in Greece or perhaps continuing onward to Spain.

We've taken many family vacations over the years, but we all agreed this was the best one yet!
The team at Zicasso’s travel company did an exceptional job tailoring the perfect trip for our family. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, making the entire experience seamless and truly enjoyable from start to finish.
We had wonderful drives and knowledgeable, engaging tour guides who made each destination come to life. Some of our favorite highlights include a hands-on cooking class in Florence, exploring the beautiful Tuscan countryside, and having effortless access to iconic sites like the Vatican and the Colosseum.
The experiences were unforgettable, from the best food tour in Rome to a fun and unique golf-cart tour through the city. We also loved visiting a Parmigiano-Reggiano factory and a Parma ham producer, along with an extra-special stop at the Ferrari Museum that was such a memorable surprise.
Every moment felt thoughtfully curated and we came home with incredible memories that we will cherish for years to come. We highly recommend the travel company to anyone looking for a truly personalized and exceptional travel experience.

We had a fantastic experience for a first-time trip to Italy. I wasn't sure how this would be, considering I learned about Zicasso while trying to plan the trip myself. Zicasso put me in touch with a travel specialist and the whole team was incredibly responsive to my many, many questions. If they were ever annoyed, it didn’t show.
I really wanted a smooth experience for my family of five, including three teens, one of whom has Celiac. Our agent was great in helping plan out the experience we wanted. As you may know, it is challenging to find rooms for five in Europe, but the travel company found apartments (usually two bedrooms with a pull-out couch) in the heart of town. You can really customize what you do, but we elected to plan our own meals and handle some of our own transport. We did have one issue where the van driver taking us to the train failed to show. I got one with Uber and the travel company quickly (I mean before we got home quickly!) refunded that amount.
Our contact in Italy was amazing and patient. I can’t give her enough credit. Any time I was unsure of something, she was there. The tours were great, especially Florence and Rome. You may be able to find the companies online, but ours seems to have the connections to get the best guides.
As for meals, we didn’t have any issues. We used an app and got a few recommendations from the travel company and local guides. Even our wine-tasting tour out in Tuscany was accommodating.
I would use our travel company and Zicasso again. I think the only downside is we tried to cram a lot in and it was hot. I probably should have asked for one to two fewer or shorter walking tours, especially on days we switched cities. Otherwise, it was excellent.

If you're considering a trip to Greece, look no further than Zicasso. Our travel expert planned an unforgettable journey for our family; Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini, and every detail was executed with care, expertise, and passion.
From the moment we arrived in Athens, we were immersed in the country’s warm hospitality. Our agent made sure we had the perfect balance of sightseeing and relaxation. The historical sites in Athens, like the Acropolis and the ancient Agora, were must-sees.
Mykonos is vibrant yet relaxed. The beaches were beautiful. Every meal on this trip was a highlight. Fresh seafood, local cheeses, olive oil, and delicious pastries—each bite told a story of Greece’s deep culinary heritage.
In Santorini, we were captivated by the island’s charm—whitewashed buildings, breathtaking sunsets, and the deep blue Aegean Sea. We visited traditional villages, giving us a glimpse into the rich cultural traditions that are still very much alive.
Throughout the trip, what stood out most—beyond the stunning landscapes and ancient history—was the friendliness of the Greek people. Their warmth and pride in their culture made every moment feel welcoming and genuine.
Our agent didn’t just plan a vacation—he created an experience rooted in history, tradition, and hospitality. I can’t recommend him and Zicasso highly enough.

There were many amazing things about the trip, so I don’t want to give a negative review but I do want to point out some things that need to be improved. First, communication with Zicasso’s travel agent was not great when scheduling the trip. In this day and age where scammers are everywhere, it is important to hear from your agent whenever you send an email asking questions. With the travel agent, it would be days before I would hear from her, and only after contacting Zicasso thinking I had been scammed, did I hear from anyone. Having said that, when I got to Greece, the travel agent was good about responding to my texts and getting tickets, etc. to me.
Second, I requested all 4/5 star hotels. Our hotel in Athens was okay but certainly not 4/5 star. Our hotel in Naxos was excellent and we loved it. The third hotel, oh my goodness, it was a 2-star hotel and it was like a budget motel here in the states. We stayed near the beach in Santorini when we would have much rather stayed close to things like in Oia in perhaps a 4/5 hotel with an infinity pool. Instead, we were at a budget motel in a not very nice hotel and not a very nice beach - very disappointing. Second, the wine tasting was awful - we were so excited about going, even got dressed up, and it lasted 30 minutes and they basically put out a couple of glasses of wine with cheese and told us which one to eat with what. Almost all the other excursions were great - the catamaran was amazing, olive oil factory, bike ride, etc. were great - our 2-star hotel in Santorini - please don’t ever recommend that hotel to anyone.

My wife and I consulted with a handful of travel agencies in order to pick the right one for us to curate our dream honeymoon, and I could not be happier with our final decision to trust Zicasso’s tour company with this task.
Our travel agent was amazing throughout the process of building our itinerary, choosing experiences that fit exactly what we were looking for in an Italy honeymoon.
Start to finish, our overall experience was seamless. We decided to pack a lot into 10 nights, visiting Tuscany, Venice, Sorrento, and finishing the trip with one night in Rome. The tour company perfectly constructed our itinerary in a way that did not make our experience feel rushed in any of these locations. We had ample time to relax and explore these beautiful places on our own, while also fitting in world-class experiences specific to the region in which we were staying, all hand-selected by the tour company and their local expertise.
Every experience we had was incredible. From a private pasta cooking class and wine tasting in Tuscany to a limoncello tour in a quiet, picturesque village along the Amalfi Coast, each will be an experience my wife and I will never forget.
I would recommend this travel company to anyone visiting Italy for the first time or even those who have been to Italy, but want to experience breathtaking excursions curated by a local team of experts.
Our honeymoon was all we dreamed of and more, and I look forward to having the opportunity to use them for our next adventure.

Hello, Zicasso and our travel company. We cannot say enough good things about our trip to Greece and the excellent service from you!
Our travel agent was our primary contact for the majority of the planning of the trip and we had excellent assistance from her team. All of them were fantastic in every way, providing us assurance that we were listened to for what we wanted. They also provided us well-informed guidance on what we did not know, but needed to make the best decisions for our trip. They were genuinely invested in us having a memorable experience with their caring tone and patience, especially being available to answer our questions, and always doing it promptly and thoroughly.
Our trip was absolutely seamless! We had a daily update the day prior via WhatsApp for the next day's agenda. All transfers were on time and courteous hosts educated us about Greece and got to know us personally. They supported us throughout the trip with restaurant recommendations and coordinating any other interests we had. For example, on our free day in Santorini, they helped us coordinate a day at the black-sand beach, which was relaxing and beautiful.
We absolutely loved Greece, from the charming streets of Chania to the deep, navy blue Aegean Sea on our day boat trip seeing all of Santorini and the bustling city of Athens, with the Acropolis and its rich history dating back to 2500 BC. And of course, the delicious fresh food wherever we were!
It was a fantastic, memorable experience for our family in a beautiful place that we will cherish. Thanks for all your team's work in making it so enjoyable and easy for our family! We will be sharing the experience we had with you with our friends, family, and co-workers, encouraging them to use your excellent services!
Thanks again.
