Known to their friends as Geordie and Fiona, this charming couple graciously welcomes visitors to their castle and tends to the estate with the same care as their fictitious counterparts Lord and Lady Grantham.
The tour also gives you a taste of English country charm. You’ll drive through picturesque Oxfordshire County until you reach the village of Bampton at the edge of the Cotswolds. In this charming ancient village, you’ll visit “Downton” village locations. Wander down the lovely Church Street and step into the church where Lady Mary was married to Matthew Crawley. You’ll also have a chance to see the exterior of the fictitious house of Isobel Crawley.
