The provided transportation was on time, luxurious, and enjoyable.

Our accommodations exceeded our expectation and the locations were fabulous.

The tours in Rome and Venice were highlights of each city. They were fun and we stopped at unexpected and unique sites.

The tour guides were patient, as we were in nine. They shared personal experiences and advice.

We ended our Roma and Venezia adventure in Lerici. Our family enjoyed the cave kayaking and private boat, which gave us the opportunity to swim in the Ligurian Sea. And, yes, of course, the delicious food and family.

We had a wonderful trip, with nearly seamless arrangements. All hopes and objectives were fulfilled. All camps were in good locations, with excellent service. We had experienced and knowledgeable guides at all camps. We were sorry to have it end!

The highlights especially included picking perfect places for us to stay (close to most everything we were doing and in the heart of the cities). The tours, both private and small group, gave us not only what we asked for, but even more that we didn’t know existed.

The itinerary was as detailed as it could possibly be, describing the day, what to bring, names and phone numbers to call if there were issues, and who we needed to call to confirm future tour dates.

One of our highlights was the penguin experience. Our guide was great and our trip planner got us “plus” tickets, which I would definitely recommend. Finally, she provided us with the necessary info and guides (where necessary) for our amazing hikes.

There aren't enough superlatives to describe our safari. Every single aspect exceeded expectations. The Zicasso trip designer, who handled the in-country arrangements, was terrific, and literally every arrangement went smoothly. A few last-minute changes on the front and back end were handled effectively. 

Each of the camps was different, but wonderful in its own way. We liked the variation. The accommodations were great and the food was great. But the people – hosts, driver/guides, spotters, service personnel were really great – friendly, fun, helpful, enjoyable to be with, and really great. It's difficult to put into words how much we enjoyed being with them and with each other (me, my five adult children, and their spouses). And the wildlife and landscapes, again, quite different over the three camps, were spectacular. Every game drive was a much-anticipated adventure and the guides were, to a person, superb in helping us understand the animal behaviors we observed. 

There is nothing we would have done differently and we were constantly amazed at how smoothly everything worked out (literally no hitches, even minor ones), how much fun we had with each other and our hosts, and how much the people we were with contributed to our experience. I'm not given to hyperbole, but I'm left without words to describe how great the experiences we had were and how seamless the arrangements seemed to be.

Zicasso's travel designer could not have been more helpful. She answered texts at all hours, made revisions to our itinerary when we needed them, and was all around wonderful. I'd recommend her to anyone traveling in that area.
